This place has a beautiful golf course and lodge. I was there as a guest, my brother is an Elk. They had a fundraiser for something, and we got 3 drink tix and dinner for $40, not bad. The food was served buffet style, and, 2 salads, rolls, a vegetable medley, lasagna, and pork loin, with a strawberry shortcake dessert table.
I have to say the stands outs were - the heavy poured glasses of wine and mixed drinks, the pork loin, which was super moist and entirely delicious, and the strawberry shortcake bar - the biscuits were home/hand made and sprinkled with sugar - the entire dessert was utterly craveable.
My brother says it's a great lodge to be a part of, especially if you're a golfer. The fees/dues are very reasonable. If I didn't live 40 + miles away, I'd be a member - that is if ladies can be members now - not sure about that one. read more
