It takes weeks before any doctor at this location can see you. You are better off going to urgent care. Second, there is a lock of communication between doctors, nurses, front and back office staff. No one knows whats going on. Yes, they are nice and all but it doesn't help patients. Third, make sure you call them before you come to your appointment, NO ONE is going call or text you if it is cancelled! Other than "I'm sorry", no explanation at all. It happened to me twice already. And lastly, check your bill! I was charged for follow up visit instead of my annual free check up and ended up paying for it. They would not adjust my charges. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.

While on my way to the appointment, I received a text with an appointment reminder....for 4 hours later. And with a doctor that I have never even heard of. I tried to call while I was still in the car, to no avail. There never seems to be anyone at the office that can answer a phone call. So, when I arrived, I find that the office has switched floors. Have to go through the hassle of being temperature checked and find the office. All the while, still on the phone. When I finally reach the office, I was told that 1.) there's no record of me calling 2.) they have a call center, so they have no idea who talked to me 3.) all the doctors are in a meeting and so, no one was available to see me 4.) the schedule had been set for quite some time with no changes. 5.) my choices are to come back or cancel the appointment. That's it. So, here I sit, with my time having been wasted, still needing to see a doctor and I don't feel that anyone on the staff cares. I'm extremely unsatisfied with all of this.

They assigned us a doctor but truth be told, we never have seen that doctor more than once - maybe twice? I can't even remember now. Our original assigned doctor was okay but I didn't feel that she took the time to get to know our family, my son. And if she was going to be his doctor full time then I wanted a little more attention, more caring, more hands on. Maybe I was spoiled from our previous pediatrician who was so wonderful with my son. Anyways, I digress. So whenever, we had to go back for sick visits or other check-ups, I could never remember the doctor's name and told them it didn't matter who I see. I can get an informal check-up or doctor's visit from any doctor so why does it have to be the same? I know you are wondering if she didn't care for the doctor why is she giving 4 stars? Our original doctor wasn't bad - just didn't give me that family feel I wanted. And all of the other doctors I have seen here are great. They all work well with children. The nurses here are also fantastic. They help and do the grunt work for the doctor. Getting the child in the right mood is most important - they set the tone and they do a great job of it. Anytime my son has been sick and I needed to get him - they have always assisted in getting him in right away. The one time they couldn't for an insect bite - they just told me to go to urgent care. My wait time is minimal. I don't know if I am just lucky here and time my arrival time perfectly with my appointment time but we are never in the waiting area for longer than 15 minutes. I don't know when they added it but they now have a check in Kiosk so if you don't want to talk to person at the desk, I guess you don't have to. But I thrive on human interaction and I prefer to do that. Check out is a breeze as well. My son may get upset when he has to get a shot but when he is rewarded with a sticker and a small dum-dum he leaves just a little bit happier.

Parking was plentiful and not very far away from the main entrance. Black and white pictures of patients and care providers decorated the walls and for some reason there was a grand piano in the back of the lobby. Though there are nice touches to improve the patient experience, the coldness of the tech and the delay of services made more of an impact than the niceties on display.

This is EXACTLY the type of issue I'm NOT interested in experiencing from my doctors office moving forward so I guess it's a good thing I got to experience this today before I even meet with Dr. Elkins. (I obviously cancelled my appointment when they finally answered the line.) This isn't acceptable service to me, so there was no point in building a relationship with a practice that can't get their telephones answered within 19 minutes on a Tuesday morning. They clearly have more business than they can handle without adding me to their patient list :-(
