There were helpful things like chargers and bathroom supplies, but there were also souvenirs like postcards and (very funny) candles. The room was nice, and it had a mini fridge, microwave, and TV. The wifi was consistant in speed, and the bed was pretty comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience. And they had free coffee!

On the plus side, the breakfast was tastier than I expected. Fruits were plentiful throughout the day, great for evening snacking. Milk (including chocolate) was also available, although fresh brewed coffee not as often. The juice machine was leaking for several days. The sticky stream on the counter didn't seem to catch anyone's attention until I covered it with paper towels. That might be because when I asked one kitchen help about something I got a blank stare. He didn't speak English! Pretty tough to serve customers when you don't understand them. On several mornings the manager greeted diners at breakfast, asking how we enjoyed our stay. I mentioned a few things about my room needing attention and she seemed ready to correct them. However, during my week-long stay nothing got fixed. * One side of the blackout curtain jumped its track, making it durned difficult to block the outside light in this ground floor room * A light bulb was dead in the overhead entryway fixture. * There was a long hair stuck to the ceiling above the shower - unsightly at the very least. * The public use lobby computer was unusable the entire time due to a necessary subscription update. * I found the microwave oven nearly impossible to program. * The sink stopper did not work so the sink would not hold water. * The bathroom had no fan, or if there was one behind the grating near the ceiling, it did not work. * Most annoying, and the reason I would not stay in this room again, is that the bathroom smelled dank and musty. Very faint, but if you were in there for any length of time it became very obvious. It smelled like mold rather than simply damp wall.

Kamp K9 had two large open pens, little side trails, sidewalks, and quiet neighborhoods to walk dogs and go for a morning run. Even has the entertainment area with horseshoes, giant chess/checkers, hangout area with shade. Feels like it was once upon a time an average RV park that they're bringing lots of KOA love to. Would stay again. Gas station, Ace Hardware, coffee & pizza shop just down the road. Location was easy to get to on the outskirts of town, but also close to Helena city attractions.

The gathering area is really nice with a gas fire pit, enclosed sand area - perfect for little John Deere tractor excavators of the world, canopy covered dining table, horse shoes, corn hole and other family games. Like morning walks? You will walk for miles. Great street side walking trails that go for what looks like miles into the hills or jump across the street to walk the canal through meandering through crop fields. Bathrooms are clean, laundry area clean. You can walk to a stellar convenience store, grab a pizza at a new little plaza, or get your morning latte as you head out for a walk. Camp hosts are serious about being the hosts with the mosts.
