This place has character, but in a good way! Revamped motel, the owners seem to have put a lot of work into renovating and updating. My family and I stayed in room 34 which takes up about half of a converted home on the same property as the cabins. It had three bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchenette, and a patio. One bedroom is downstairs, with the other 2 upstairs, up some very steep stairs. Be cautious if you have someone who struggles with stairs. The rate of $105 for a 3 bedroom really can't be beat. The whole space was very clean! The layout is a bit odd, you have to go through the bathroom to get into the downstairs bedroom. The upstairs bedrooms do not have doors- doors would be a great addition. Garbage cans in the rooms upstairs would be welcome. The upstairs was cold, but there was an electric heater which worked great, some warning on the cold upstairs would've been helpful, we would've turned up the heat much earlier had we realized. So yes, some eccentricities, but I would stay here again! It is centrally located in Helena and close to a lot of great dining options. The staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating.

Cute, clean and cozy. Better than expected! There's a rainbow on the bed from the light through the window.

I called the Inn to let them know and they were more than understanding, saying that their restaurant would still be open by the time of our arrival and that they would have a glass of wine waiting for us upon our arrival. We did not arrive until 10:00 PM and received a warm greeting and as promised, the bartender was ready to pour us a glass of wine. We were able to sip it on the lovely outdoor eating area and fall asleep on the most comfortable bedding. Seriously, the beds here are magic. Rooms are very small and do not have A/C. Simply opening the window will suffice to bring in some cool air. Each wing has a communal bathroom. Bathrooms have all amenities needed moreover; each room has a cute bag of travel toiletries per bed. The building itself is both charming and formidable. While I see its potential, it is lacking in some upkeep and restoration. This the only downside. Something to note, there is a train that passes quite frequently and can be heard during all hours. This did not phase me in the slightest because of the wine. My favorite part by far was breathing in the fresh air and exploring the grounds in the early morning. The sky was beautiful and I managed to get in some pretty special photographs. It seriously put a smile on my face to see pigs roaming around and chickens out being chickens... With that being said, I would definitely stay here again should I find myself in the area.
