By then during this off-season weekday, the Creede Repertory Theatre (CRT) was having a matinee and many businesses on the main street were already closed. A few places like Off Broadway (an appropriate name considering that CRT is just across the street) were open and it was fun to just browse around. Our Team leader spent a lot of time in the antiques section in back and came away with a nice gift. Another 2 colleagues spent a lot of time marveling over the Abra Jewelry concept. It's basically a mix and match (for example, pendant and necklace) layout that allows you to design your own aesthetic bridge between ancient and contemporary art. It was all pretty cool, although I wasn't brave enough to pick out the right combination for Gayle. Off Broadway definitely stands out among the Creede Shops along North Main Street and is worth a stop before theater or just because.

Almost everything in the store is hand crafted, I never leave town without adding at least one hand made bag, purse or wallet to my collection, may be an addiction. There's also a big jewelry selection and gifts/toys at the front. Good place to stop in for the family and I recommend everyone visit it at least once per trip.

My husband is obsessed with the Exhausted Parent flavor. Our son usually gets something with chocolate or Oreos. Our middle daughter loves the strawberry ice cream. I try something different every time, but my favorites have been the Italian Ice flavors (strawberry hibiscus winning for me).
