Beware! This guys a thief. I paid him a few thousand for welding job and he has given me every excuse on the planet. Over 2 months now and he never shows up. Going to report him to AZ register of contractors and file the money as stolen with police. Luckily I have a photo of his license plate and car make/model so hopefully cops can find him. read more

Alfonso looked at our backyard understood exactly what we were looking for and gave us a very reasonable quote and he started our job on time as scheduled the next week. Alfonso moved all of our decorative rock to the front yard, replaced our old drip line with PVC pipe and upgraded the sprinkler system. This has to be the worst experience I have had with getting a gate added to my house. The photos attached will show the issues. I paid $500 for the gate and install. Told the guy about the issues said he would make me another gate. He has change the date to come replace the gate 2 times now and still hasn't showed up for the last appointment. Our side gate recently fell off the cinder blocks. I reached out to Alfonso (Elizalde's Welding) on Saturday evening and he said he could come out the next day (Sunday) to do the repair - amazing! Since we were repairing the gate we thought we better have him replace the wood slats and refresh the paint too. Alfonso offered a great price for the repair and the refresh. I was a little uncomfortable when he asked for cash upfront to go buy the materials but agreed to let me meet him at Home Depot to pay with my HD credit card. Cut out the rusted parts, welded in new metal parts and painted those and also did concrete repairs for anchors that had ripped out.. Our double side gate broke during one of the last thunder storms and we needed someone quick. Alfonso replied within 30 minutes of me posting the work order on Yelp. He quoted us very reasonably and performed the work that day. He upgraded the side walls from wood to poured concrete and welded new hardware on our gate to match the new bolts that he had drilled and poured concrete around on our wall. The gate is SO much better and stronger than it was and Alfolso worked so hard all day in 110 degree heat to get the job done in 1 day. I have ordered a new side gate from another company, but due to current events, the installation has been pushed out. I needed my existing gate fixed so it would be safe until the new gate arrived.
