I needed a cranial prosthesis after suffering permanent alopecia a as a result of chemotherapy. I bought what I thought was a human hair wig for $1900 but I was never really happy with it. It just never felt or looked natural and as a result, I never wore it. Years later it still sits in the closet, I did, however, find a salon in Boston that specialized in a high-quality human hair wigs. During one of my visits I brought the wig from the gallery in Wethersfield to see if she could remedy the problems I was having with the wig. I was initially told I would have to undergo chemo so I wanted to be ready. Diane did not rush or push the product.. she was very relaxed, provided me with education about wigs. Diane then selected a 'topper' and it was love at first sight. Due to other health issues my hair thinned on top over the years and I have done everything medically to treat or restore the thinness. I decided to buy the topper regardless of chemo to make me feel whole again. The topper was so convincing my family, closet friends, and others thought I did something new to my hair and told me how fabulous I looked. The clips to the topper were perfect as the wind swept through my hair.. It looked so natural and did NOT budge.. comfortable as if it was not there, and highly breathable.
