So they can cover up their malpractice of both refusing treatment & to hide that I was here. And I just filled out their "complaint form" since the older gals at the front desk in the emergency department said "there isn't any Human Resources here". Just leaving a review now.

Tessa Daniel's NP, (my nurse point of contact with the doctor on my GI issues)…read more URGENT READ ABOUT THIS and be aware of who is helping you and who you want in charge of your health! My repulsive experience I had with a NP at Summit Health Gastrology, please read, take it all in! I typically value and respect the hard work of healthcare professionals, but my experience with this particular nurse was disappointing and concerning. Throughout the interaction, there was a noticeable lack of empathy and an unwillingness to listen to my concerns. Instead of fostering a supportive and respectful environment, the nurse came across as dismissive and authoritative, more focused on exerting control than providing care. I explained to a GI PAC who was out for the week and Tessa was covering her and was working with me of course for the week I was deathly ill and in excruciating abdominal pain. She argued and said I did not say that in the first message, it progressed worse and worse each day to the point I missed almost 2 weeks of work and could barely function. Thank goodness for my family stepping in to nurse me to health. I was not offered any pain medication to help lower Healthcare requires compassion, patience, and communication--unfortunately, none of these qualities were demonstrated. My questions were brushed off, and I felt more like a problem to be managed than a patient to be cared for. It's troubling when someone in a position of trust prioritizes power over patient well-being. My questions were brushed off, and rather than fostering a supportive environment, the nurse's approach felt dismissive and overly authoritative. Instead of feeling cared for, I felt as though I was a problem and could not wait for them to get rid of me. Lastly, I want to touch base on this. Specifically, when I requested both pain medication and antibiotic medication--both of which were necessary for my condition--the nurse declined to provide them. I was not offered a clear explanation or alternative, and my concerns were brushed aside. This left me feeling not only in unnecessary discomfort, but also disregarded as a patient and and left me in unnecessary pain.she told me to go to go to the Emergency room and or urgent care as she will not prescribe any medications with the exception of a medication to help with Acid Reflux. I've had GI issies for over 10 years, I know what needs to be done when this happens. The new Doctor I saw ended up prescribing all this and 24 hours later after suffering for 8 days I am finally comfortable, and starting to feel like the old me! Imagine that. Healthcare requires compassion, communication, and a willingness to listen. Unfortunately, in this interaction, I felt that my well-being was not prioritized. Instead of feeling cared for, I felt as though my needs were being controlled rather than addressed. Failure to Advocate for the Patient: Nurses are expected to support patients' healthcare needs and escalate concerns appropriately. Lack of Compassion and Communication: The response demonstrated dismissiveness rather than empathy and collaboration. Potential Risk to Patient Safety: Refusing to provide or properly address treatment needs left me in unnecessary pain and delayed appropriate care. These actions may represent a violation of professional nursing standards, including safe practice, ethical conduct, and patient advocacy. I will be formally reaching out to Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN). I'm hoping this department does not retaliate writing this review on my experience, I want to protect myself and fellow people that rely on health care professional such as our moms, dads, friends, children etc.

I had only a few visits with him this past August when I was visiting Bend and in that short time, he helped me so much with my chronic neck pain. He's incredibly skilled and has a sensitive touch...he goes right to the heart of the problem and works with it efficiently. I found Mike through The Foundation Training website because I wanted to fine-tune the exercises I was having trouble with. Mike was not only extremely helpful with this goal, he also gave me some gentle adjustments and gentle yet deep massage when I was there that helped undo some chronic neck and shoulder problems. He also offered a few very specific suggestions that have helped me avoid throwing my neck out of alignment (which before working with him would typically happen at least once a week)! This is such a huge change for me which enables me to workout and do many other things without hurting myself. I've also done a couple of Skype sessions with him (for Foundation Training) which is great because I live on the other side of the country. I highly recommend him to anyone who suffers from any kind of chronic or acute pain, or who wants to workout or do sports with greater strength and resilience. Foundation Training is awesome as well and Mike teaches it. If I lived in Bend, I'd definitely be at his Foundation classes and continue to avail myself of his chiropractic services.

I have been her client a year and a half my conditions are degenerating & progressive with layers of complicated co-conditions. I hope to keep going to Healing Bridges as long as possible as PT will be life-long. Her calming and grounding technique along with Feldenkrais treatment is exactly what my body needed for constant dislocations from Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Allison has the ability to heal and validate pain at a level I never experienced. THANK YOU!

Then I had an accident 4 years ago that shattered my kneecap and the surgeons were unable to save it, so they just sewed the tendons from above and below the knee together. This causes instability in the knee and if I bend it too far, it will buckle and I will fall. I have been to many different physical therapists since that time, but all of the exercises they gave me caused more pain in my back. Allison is the first PT that has found gentle exercises to strengthen the muscles around my knee and in my leg that don't aggravate my back. She is very knowledgeable, slow and gentle in her approach and truly cares about her patients. The Feldenkrais exercises and meditations have helped the pain in my back and are teaching me how to move my body in different ways that support better structural functioning, and thus decreased pain. She is also well versed in "Pain Reprocessing Therapy" for chronic pain, which retrains the brain to react to pain signals properly, and eventually eliminates the chronic pain. I highly recommend Allison to anyone suffering from an injury and/or chronic pain.
