Dr. Elizabeth is fantastic! I had to visit for a dental emergency and she helped me out! I needed to replace a crown a previous dentist had put in and she went above and beyond for me! She explained everything she was going to do in a way that was easy to understand, and let me know what she was doing as it was happening. This definitely eased my fear and helped me relax a little as she began and completed the procedure. After my procedure I had some pain, but Dr. Elizabeth saw me at the soonest possible time and fixed the issue for me. After that, I have not had any issues and have been telling everyone she is the dentist they need to see! read more

We have tried 8 dentists in the last 3 years for our family, and so far Dr. Garcia has been the best. She and her staff are friendly and generally accommodating. Sometimes we had a long wait, but most of the time the wait time was not that long. We didn't have to make appointment way in advance either. Dr. Garcia has clear skill in her dentistry in identifying issues with our kids teeth. What I was especially grateful for was her taking the time to scale our kids teeth, as my boys especially develop tartar a lot on their bottom teeth. I have found that many dentists won't even do this for kids in their "cleaning." Dr. Garcia really worked hard on their teeth, even staying late to make sure she did a good job with them. When they needed fillings, she was even accommodating enough to choose the brand of composite that I preferred for them. When my son needed a covering on his tooth, she worked to try to see if it could be covered by our insurance. I wish we could have stayed with her. Sadly, we had a bad experience at the end of our couple of years with her that made it difficult to continue with her as our dentist. My sons needed fillings for a second time, but I wanted to wait before filling them so that I could look into options and make what I thought would be the best decision for them. However, she insisted that we do the procedure right then. I continued to voice my reservations, but instead she made the decision to proceed with the fillings, against my wishes and consent. She chastised me for my concern, which she called ignorant, and she forced treatment on them, following what she thought was the best judgment. I have never had that experience where a dentist or doctor forced treatment on me or my children against my wishes and consent. Later, I called the office to inquire into the product used for the fillings. I called three times and talked with the kind receptionists, but Dr. Garcia refused to respond to me. All I wanted to know was the brand of composite filling, as I had been researching types that contain BPA and those that are BPA-free. I just wanted to know was the name, that's all. Then, I showed up at the office in person to ask. She saw me, and then turned the other way, saying she had more important things to do. I hadn't come to harass, I just wanted the name, which she had shared with me in the past. That was all; very simple. After that, I didn't pursue the matter any further. I understand she was annoyed with me for asking a lot of questions. I'm sure I asked more questions than the great majority of dental patients. If you don't ask any questions with her procedures, you might love her. I have often thought about returning back to her because of the other positive aspects of our experience with her, but then I remember that incident and it feels unacceptable. read more

I visited Dr. Garcia for the first time recently and I was nervous at first, like every time I see a new dentist and I am not sure if they will yell "It's ALIVE!!!" at the end of the procedure. But to my surprise Dr. Garcia is a very nice lady who truly listens to her patients first, she allowed me to do all my complaining and trying to reason why I have not been in to see a dentist sooner. She spoke to me in Spanglish which I thought was super cute and funny, something like "Oh mijo you bettter floss, because los dientes necesitan cleaning in between" jaja. Ehem... back to the review. I would say she has a gentle hand, and does not rush the treatment, she asks while being treated if there is any discomfort or pain (with a mouth full of dental instruments, just give her a thumbs up, and she will know you are fine) There is no oversell or pressures, no scary "Totals" on a whole bunch of procedures, and if you need more than one procedure done, she will go with the most pressing issue first. Her office is clean and well organize, (they have these really cool ceiling tiles that resemble looking up in to the sky) so as you lay there looking up, you can count clouds, or look for cloud animals or shapes for that matter, I just thought they look cool. Appointments: The very friendly girl up front, is always open to give you a call if someone cancels and you want your appointment sooner. Though I doubt anyone would cancel or Dr. Garcia. To finalize, my time on the chair with Dr. Garcia was a pleasant experience, and God forbid, I would use the words DENTIST and PLEASANT in the same sentence, but in this case I will. I was looking for a dentist closer to work so i can use my lunch hour to get the treatments and on google I found Dr. Elizabeth's site. I got really impressed by the website and information given I called the office and asked if they accept my insurance and they did. First time I met with Dr. Elizabeth I fell in love with her, she treats parients like family. She guide in right way, show the damage, give her advice and leave the decission on you to decide. Today was my first time visiting Dr. Garcia and I had high hopes based on previous reviews (I may have also been biased by the fact that she's a USC alum like myself - lesson learned). Her staff was friendly and welcoming, however, Dr. Garcia herself disappointed me. I was on time for my appointment, but it appeared things had been delayed for her liking. She met with me after my x-rays and discussed my oral health, but then proceeded to ask me to schedule a follow up appointment for my cleaning. She said that her next appointment had already arrived and due to the fact that she would need to spend extra time on my cleaning because of some pain I am having I would need to come back. This was frustrating and unprofessional. She nonchalantly mentioned that I could request to leave early from work and book the latest appointment which is 5pm. I do not think it is my fault that her next appointment had arrived since I had been on time to my appointment. Dr. Garcia came off as rude and inconsiderate of a new patient's time. read more

Everyone is very kind here. I got two teeth pulled out and it wasn't painful at all, and no swelling the next day. Thank god.. went back to work the very next day like nothing happened. We used laughing gas because i was too nervous and that made the rest go by easy. Everything went great, even the price. They rely mostly on your insurance not what they can get out of your pocket. Called at 12:45 for an appointment (I was in front of the office waiting in my car because another dentist that I go to couldn't see me) I spoke to the doctor herself and she agreed to see me right away. Best dentist ever! She is so personable and amicable, because I have braces she went over the proper way to brush my teeth, gave me a cream for the demineralization my teeth are going through because of the braces, and gave me a little care package. She is really nice and knowledgable. Thankfully I didn't need any other work done, just the cleaning but I'm definitely switching dentists. read more

Lower prices and although she tries to accomodate to you, sometimes it just isn't enough. My experience at this office was okay, however, during one visit I experienced WAY TOO much pain as local anesthetic takes a while to kick in and once numb, it fades away quickly. She worked on my teeth despite her seeing me sweat and jump. Will never return to this place. If local anesthetic works quickly on you and you are of low income, then this is the dentist for you. read more

I was looking for a new dentist and after reading reviews, i decided to give Dr. Garcia a chance. I am glad i did. I had an aching wizdom tooth and when i called to make an appointment I was given one for the following day. The staff was very friendly and Dr. Garcia was very thorough in explaining the extraction procedure. It was painless and quick. I was in and out of the office within 2 hours.
