I have had a bad experience with them on not one (1) but two (2) separate occasions!! When contacting their office to express my concerns with the oversights from their team, I was simply ignored, even though they admittedly messed up! After a couple of emails (attached) and three (3) phone calls, I gave up! To summarize, in Feb. 2022, Endodontist Henry Kwon who prides himself with years of experience and brags about how SPEEDY he is, overlooked a crucial part of the prescribed treatment! Maybe he needs to SLOW DOWN and read much more carefully! The second incident, last month, Endodontist Vivian Han, who was very secure with her work, almost overly confident, simply chose to bypass a big part of the recommended treatment. I came here 9/15/2020 and the dentist I saw was possibly Kwor Chieh Loo. He is experimenting on everybody who sees him. I did not take his advice and had my insurance send me someone in newport beach where they placed me in a cone bean ct scan to show me how Loo was full of poop. Great experience with this South Gate dental office..I brought my special needs daughter in for a consultation to see the endodontist and ended up getting the procedure done! Office staff ( just 2 persons out of 3 or 4) rudeness is awful, they mistreat you by assuming that you as a customer are Spanish speaking person, elderly or just simply by us being ignorant about dental procedures. Once they hear you speaking English they tone down, and a "nice mode" gets triggered. Couple of visits and some reviews down here is enough to say that Customer Service is the only part they lack of. Being Hispanic has a tremendous negative perspective that impacts me and those who can't defend against this office team. Shake it off and add professionals, their environment is toxic and demeaning. I got a referral to come to Central Endodontics from my dentist. I needed root canal treatment on a tooth that another dentist had wanted to pull out and get it over with. Arriving at Central Endodontics I was greeted by the friendly staff and filled out some paperwork. I did end up waiting a while because they couldn't get a hold of my insurance but I'm glad I waited because I was given exceptional care. I was referred here by my regular dentist due to it being a very complicated case. I had a very large abscess and excruciating pain on one of my back teeth. The x-ray taken by my regular dentist didn't really show the issue so he sent me over to Cental Dental Specialty. Everybody there was extreamly nice and the office was exceptionally clean. Dr. Kwan was the endodontist that took care of me. He did a root canal through the crown and miraculously solved the problem which at first we were not 100% sure what the issue was due to the X-ray not showing the problem. Again, this was a very difficult case because much of my tooth had calcified. There was zero pain during the procedure. Dr. Kwan is the best endodontist I have ever been to. He is very caring and explained every single detail of what was taking place. The abscess that I had for almost 2 weeks had almost completely disappeared after the procedure. He called me the night of and the next morning of my procedure to check on me. It is too bad that I will only be able to see him with a referral. Ha pasado casi un mes desde que tuve mi cita y aún no han hecho nada. Por favor si tienen una emergencia si necesitan cirugía o cualquier otro servicio eviten ir a este lugar , no se los recomiendo. I just had a root canal done here yesterday and I can honestly say it was the best dental experience I have had my entire life. I am 49 years old so that is saying a lot. Had a great experience here. I was in dire need of a root canal & my reg spot gave me a referral to the Endo specialist here. I roll with a Dental Discount card which they accept, but it was cheaper to pay out of pocket. Oh & they accept Care Credit which is great during Quarantine when you're trying to stretch your pennies. Any-who Dr. Khosravian performed my root canal with the gentle touch of a new lover during the Spring. I was numbed up so good I literally started to fall asleep. I'd tell you about my sweet dreams but they're none of your business thank you. I need another procedure before my root canal process is finished so I'll definitely stick with these guys & gals. I usually get root canals from my general dentist (I've had two), but getting it done from an endo was a faster and better experience. I was comfortable as I could be for getting a root canal done. After the initial numbing the root canal took 30 minutes. I was sore that day and the next but that's to be expected. Office was really clean and had new equipment. I am very GRATEFUL for Dr. Khosravian, I was in extreme pain due to an infected tooth that needed a root canal. They were able to fit me into their schedule for an emergency root canal, although she was booked up for the day. ALL the staff was very attentive to my needs and friendly they went out of their way to help me. Dr. Khosravian is so gentle and explained everything clearly to me. I have been to different dentist and this is the first doctor that shows she really cares about the patient. Got a root canal here. Didn't hurt not even a little. Doctor was fast and efficient. I'm taking Advil for the pain but doesn't hurt to much, I'm chewing with my good side for now. It's been almost a month and zero problems. I waited to write the review to be safe. Like I said no problems after 3 days the pain was gone. As far as payment it was 250 for the treatment. And 10 for the consultation or something point is I got charged about 260 for everything. Never go here. It's sad because the front office staff and nurses are amazing. The doctor walked in asked me if I bit into something hard and then shoved a icy cotton ball into my tooth. Right after she hit my tooth with her instrument which sent shooting pain down my neck. After that the nurse told me the doctor would try to save my tooth but the surgery may not work. I asked why we are trying to save a dead tooth? Then I gave in and decided to go ahead with the root canal. The doctor and the nurse asked if I was on antibiotics and I said yes. the dentist I saw the day before referred me here and gave me antibiotics. This whole time I explained I had never had any surgery, I wrote on my chart my extream sensitivity to needle pain. The doctor ignored me the entire time. She shoved a cotton ball into my mouth on top of the tooth and told me to bite down. I did. It was like she was rushing but honesty I really felt like she didnt feel like caring for me. Before that numbing agent started to work she shoved a needle in my mouth to numb me. I was able to take 2 shots before they asked me again if I was on antibiotics. I said yes again. After the 3rd shoot my heart started racing,my body started shaking and I started to hyperventilate. The doctor was frustrated with me like I had control over this. I have never had any type of oral surgery I was already in a lot of pain and I told her that when I would get cavities the numbing would never work on me. She ignored me. The doctor said to the nurse " she can't handle this"and walked out of the room. I spent the rest of my day with a numb face, infected tooth untreated and they wouldn't even give me back my copay. I've never had a doctor ignore me the way this one did. I checked my insurance page and this place had no ratings yet the previous dentist referred me there. I'm so glad I have a PPO so I can choose a better dentist who will at least look me in the face and listen to my concerns. It's really to bad. I worked very hard to get the job I have and I did so because I wanted good health care, I did not find it here. read more

Not only did they fail at my root canal, when I tried to speak to a manager about it, I got the run around for a week straight, never getting a call back from her. Every time I called, I was told that she was in a meeting or out to lunch or not int, and was told she was the ONLY person I could talk to. Not only am I in pain, but I was told by the dr himself that I would now need a surgery that costs over $2500!! I highly discourage anyone from using this office! read more
