I'm not one to usually complain, but if you do not know how to provide a specific service, don't say you do. Don't paint the nails on someone's feet and come back to touch someones hands without washing your hands. I had to tell this lady to wash her hands because she was touching someone's feet! First time was great. Walked in with a thick and horrid set of gel nails done by another salon - initial appt was with Lin but I was running late so she passed me on to Queen/Qwinn - and I was so very pleased. My full gel nail set was everything I've been looking for! The pedicure was amazing with a few setbacks -- her polishing wasn't the best -- by the time I got home, scrubbing tool used left my feet feeling cut up so I had to do my own buffing at home. But I didn't go there for that so it didn't take away from the great job she did on my nails. 2nd visit -Lin did my fill in and incredibly quick to boot. I love them. (Added pic this time around) Pedicure girl was a newbie and literally annoyed me but I kept calm and told Lin afterwards; she said next time it'll be her or Qwinn. Made an appointment for my daughter to have her nails done for homecoming, her and two friends arrived and were promptly greeted and the nail technician quickly got to work. the price quoted was $25 for a full set of acrylic nails. The technician did a horrible job and overcharged my daughter $5. When my daughter got home and I saw the finished product And the receipt I immediately took her back. I asked to speak to the manager, to which the woman who greeted us said she was the manager. I asked her which technician did my daughters nails and she admitted it was her. I was admittedly disappointed upon finding this out and before I could even show her the nails she was stating that the reason the looked "thick" was because my daughters nails were so short and that if we wanted it done thinner her nails would fall off. I tried to show her specifically why we were so dissatisfied and she did not bother to listen or pay attention and kept repeating herself about my daughters nails being to short to do a good job. I asked her to please redo the job so that we found it acceptable. She agreed to do that and immediately sat my daughter down and began removing the paint, filing the nails down and then repainting- I had to interject to ask my daughter to wash her hands before painting because of the dust caused by filing, she left the cuticles, glue and acrylic overflow alone, quickly painted and sent us off just as dissatisfied- We will never be back and hope that if you chose to try this place out you have a better experience than we did. When asked about the over charge she said it was a long nail fee which was listed in the pricing menu but was not told to my daughter until afterwards. We did not dispute the charge. read more

I was very disappointed when I went in for my appointment today. I have used this business in the past with great results and I have always left happy. Today was completely different. I called yesterday and scheduled an appointment at 11 am for a pedicure, manicure, and massage for three people. When we showed up today, the business was empty. The woman behind the counter said she scheduled us for 10. When my friends and I reminded her that we had corrected her on the phone to have an 11 appointment, she told us she couldn't help us since we didn't show up at 10. We had called the day prior to make an appoint for 11am the next day and when we showed up lady in the front made it very clear that we were late and they couldn't help us. Tomorrow will be exactly one week since I had my Mani- Pedi done. I am not happy at all! We recently moved to this area and I have researched for quite some time trying to find a nail salon that would match the price and service that I received at my former salon in another state. Overall, I'm quite disappointed in the offerings of Stafford nail salons. Are there only Vietnamese people doing nails these days? I have no problem with someone from a foreign country doing my nails, as long as they understand what I am asking for. My former nail tech was from Vietnam. But she took the time to learn the language and interact with her customers in a way that they felt understood and comfortable. I called the day before and made an appointment. When I arrived I was told that my nail tech would be late. As I sat and waited I heard a conversation between the owner and customer about my nail techs habitual tardiness. My tech tried to be quite personable, but the skills did not match the personality. My French manicure started to peel off after four days. During my pedicure, I received a cut to my toe. The way my old gel nails were removed seems to have damaged my nails, because my nails are splitting and cracking all over the place . I don't expect that to happen, for the price that I'm paying and the time that I spend. Whatever happened to having pride in your craft, and appreciation for your customers that help you pay your bills? I did call the business and leave a phone message about my issues, but I got no response. I'm getting a little tired of businesses popping up,claiming the service and not fulfilling the claim! Love this place! The staff there is so unbelievably friendly. They always remember me and my friends whenever we come in. If I go in by myself they always ask where my friends are, how are they doing, how my husband is, etc. They give a great pedicure and the chairs are amazing! Big variety of colors as well. Also great eye brow waxes too. They also have tanning beds, manicures obviously, and do permanent make up. Prices are really good and I can't say enough about how great they all are. First off I love the fact the salon is up the street from my house. So I no longer have to drive back and forth to wood bridge for a simple Mani/Pedi. The salon is located in a small strip plaza that has its own private parking which is a plus. However I can not stress this enough TAKE YOUR OWN NAIL POLISH (unless your getting a french). Their color selection is not that great and the few times I have used them my nails chipped within a few days. They will try to up sell everything when you sit down so you pretty much need to know what service you want and stick to it. I personally hate being asked if I want a gel set or my eyebrows done several times after already saying "no". They get you in and out pretty quick especially if you go during the week or early Saturday morning. There is however one tech (I can't think of her name) that I can NOT stand. She will rush your entire set and huff and puff if you have glitter on your nails. HELLO! this is a nail salon and I'm paying you for a service so just remove the freaking glitter. The owner however is super friendly/funny. The chairs are nice and comfortable (with out the automated massage it's extremely too hard) plus the tvs are right in front of you. The day I went.. they were remodeling the entire salon so it was a hot mess but they literally set up a tiny little booth for me and had me in and out in no time! The guy that did my nails was absolutely the sweetest and did AMAZING on my nails ... from the shape to the color. He is super quick also! Everyone was super welcoming and sweet. I used to be in here every two weeks to get refills. I worked right by it so they knew my name so that was nice. I believe its 21 for a full set acrylic plus extra for polish. 14 and up for refills on acrylics. They always do a nice job and ive never had to wait more than 10 mins. Waxing and tanning beds are also offered. Plus if youre a regular they might just throw in free nail designs. Super friendly owner and technicians!! Normal prices for the area. read more

Found this place using Yelp. It's tucked in next to a pizza place & a Valero, so I probably wouldn't have found it otherwise. Owner is very friendly. She is a gem. I've been in 3 times (with quite some time in between) but she still recognizes me. I've been very happy with the fill, manicure, and pedicures I've gotten there. She also does a great job with eyebrows. My teenage daughter loved the gel manicure and the beautiful flower designs painted on afterwards. Great prices. Very small staff, but they do a nice job. Read the reviews, reasonable price, close to home... what could go wrong? Well... it was fantastic until half of my nails broke off on the second day after getting a full set. Ok, no big deal, it happens, right? Wrong! Seriously... 8 out of 10 nails were gone before I was even due for a fill!!! Although everyone there was very nice, I won't be returning. I think that the polish used on my pedi/mani was old because several hours later, the polish was still soft and easily dented and wrinkled up. My cuticles were trimmed too far and are sore and one was bleeding. read more

This is a wonderful place to get a manicure, pedicure, tan and waxing. The staff is excellent. They are friendly and very professional. When you leave there you feel as though you have been known them forever. They are a wonderful group of people. The facials are awesome also. Lynn and her staff are excellent.
