The Strand Arcade has to be one of my favourite places to wander through. It feels almost like you are in a different part of a different city. Often because of this location the prices found in the store are not what you would call affordable. Glancing quickly at food menu, seeing barely anything below $15 and most much closer to $20, I fear this cafe has tourist prices fixed in place. Though sometimes when you pay more, you receive something special. Amazing service... Drool worthy food... Silky smooth crema...? Not this time... :-(
When my coffee arrived it was watery and ruined by way too much milk (imagine a cappuccino). As for the taste... with all that milk and watery coffee, my mac tasted of... nothing. Having drunk half I decided to pay ($3.65) and try my luck elsewhere. Next time when in the area I would suggest the Strand Espresso cafe. Much more reliable.
