I loved the relaxation room with the salt wall. They also offer a steam room, sauna, and Whirlpool. They have something I've never seen before called a Vichy shower. I'm looking forward to coming here and enjoying a spa treatment. There is plenty of parking as it is located in the Cove shopping center.

All of the technicians were kind and accomodating. I got a light/medium pressure for my massage. I did my entire body. Everyone paid attention to detail. My hydrafacial made me peel a bit in the days afterwards. I left feeling so relaxed. I always make these appointments later in the evening so I can be ready for bed when I depart. From the website photos they showed a beautiful view of the ocean through the balcony door (see attached photo). What I got was a 3rd floor room which was not only too low to see the ocean but had a blue film on the outside of the glass balcony door (see photo). In top of that, the "balcony" was barely large enough to step onto much less sit and enjoy the "ocean view". But it didn't really matter because the balcony door didn't open. I called the front desk and was told "sorry there's film on the glass and the balcony door can't be open because we're under construction." That would have been useful information when I booked the room and when I checked in. The manager agreed to waive the resort fee which I appreciate but it doesn't make up for the fact that this hotel willfully withholds the fact that a construction project is under way.

Want some peace and quiet? Think again. Nonstop construction noise from 9 AM to 5 PM--which, of course, they conveniently forget to mention until you've already checked in. Oh, and if you're lucky enough to be on the side of the hotel where the elevators don't work, get ready for a nice long walk across the entire building just to use the one that does. And let's not forget the 7 AM fire alarm testing--because who doesn't want to be jolted awake bright and early? At least you'll be up in time to watch the sunrise. This place feels like a complete bait and switch with zero regard for their guests' experience. Total disrespect for paying customers. The only redeeming quality? The staff was friendly. But that alone won't make up for this disaster of a stay.

I did extensive research online and settled on Spavia as the place I wanted to have my first experience and I'm really glad I did. Based on the reviews, I chose Luciana and everyone is absolutely right. She is wonderful! She talked me through everything she would do, gently suggested items she thought would help me on my skincare journey but was never pushy at any point, I felt so comfortable throughout the whole session. First, the ladies at the front desk were super welcoming and gave me an iPad to sign in on, that asks a few questions about your skin background, etc. They also ask you what kind of scents you want, what kind of music you want to listen to, and what you want the pressure of your massage to be. The atmosphere was calming, ambient and clean. They give you lockers for your items, a nice fluffy robe and slippers to change into, and free amenities while you wait, like tea, water, weighted neck pillows, etc. While The Retreat room was super nice and relaxing, I didn't have to wait long at all. Luciana came in very quickly afterward, and explained everything to me. We went to a room, where you lay on a table with a little heated blanket and a foam roller for under your knees to support your lower back while you lay. The experience was heavenly. Luciana was gentle with my skin, the massage was so nice. I almost fell asleep on the table! After everything was over, I got changed and headed back to the counter to pay for my experience, Luciana had set out some skincare products that she felt would suit me based on our time together, but again, there's absolutely no pressure to buy them. She didn't stand there and wait for me to make any selections. She simply placed them on a table and walked away. I ended up purchasing one of the two items, a gel cleanser. Whenever purchasing a skincare item you also get to choose a free little gift that they offer which was super nice! As far as what I got, I got the acne purifying facial which comes with a face, neck, shoulder, arm and hand massage and lasts about 60 minutes in total! And it was only $139. For that experience I almost felt like I was stealing! With the skincare product I bought (without the tip) the total came to around $180 (but its a LOT of product). If you want to tip in cash, which I did, they give you a nice little envelope to place it in, with a 'to' and 'from' section to fill out. I've already scheduled my next appt and told friends and family about this place. Can't wait to come back!
