They painted windows shut and when I called, he wanted to come the day after as he had another job. I insisted he come over which they did and had a heck of a job releasing windows which they didn't check before hand that they were operating. Admitted it was his fault and would come back to fix. upon further inspection found paint spills on wood floor, improper cut ins.,. paint drips around window frames, paint on finished ceiling tiles . we called a number of times and they refused to give us the courtesy of a return call. We have now spent 4 days doing repairs that should have been finished by them. capable of basic work but not detail work.

The most current project we've contracted them for was another barn. This project was more difficult. We not only had site prep on a hilly knob, but a driveway around a large boggy pond to get to the job site. Mitchison and sons are true artists, not only do they create the best site pads, they know what material is needed for each difficult project's location. This excavating site for a barn was created with a flat circular drive around the barn with a new driveway coming into that area. Kyle Mitchison takes pride in his work, is a true visionary on site prep, drainage, making the job match the natural earth around it. The prices are honest, ethical and they care about people! First of…read moreall, Richard returned my call within half an hour which, as anyone who has ever dealt with contractors can attest to, is almost unheard of. He also showed up exactly when he said he was going to, gave us a very fair price for a roof repair, and then came back to do the job exactly when he said he was going to. Richard and his team did a super job, cleaned up after themselves, and were very pleasant and professional. I've since had Richard install tile and laminate flooring, change moldings, and paint rooms. All the jobs were beautifully done. Again, Richard gave me fair prices, showed up every day at the scheduled time, and made sure that everything was tidy before he and his crew left each day. When he finished the floors, he actually cleaned all my interior windows because he didn't want to leave any tile dust! I've referred him to friends, and I know that they are also very happy with his work. I'll definitely call Richard whenever I'm thinking of any home repair or improvement.
