We hired Elite Synthetic Turf to replace an entire row of plants that were adjacent to our pool. Got so tired of removing dead leaves from our pool every time the winds blew. We did have Christmas Palms in between the planting. They did an awesome job and the back yard now is stunning and so clean. The crew was amazing and we cannot see one seam as they had to go around the base of each tree. They came on time, worked hard and we are so pleased with their work. Cannot state how extremely satisfied we are with the work by Victor and his team. First of all, they quoted me a price that was on average almost 50% cheaper than three of their competitors. Secondly, the guys were so polite and professional and had to work thru three solid days of rain, constantly drying out the turf and yard and gluing and re-gluing everyday to ensure the turf went down perfectly... I first want to mention that the only negative review below is for a totally different company called Turf Girl and should probably be taken down because it's not relevant to this business... But alas, we used Elite Synthetic Turf for our backyard and could not be happier. Victor was fast, efficient, professional and fairly priced. Update: as of 11/1, Victor has come to address most of my complaints. The metal edging was lowered, the gorilla glue was taken off of the sea wall, and he sprayed ground clear on the turf to try and kill the grass growing. He was very nice about the whole thing, but note that this action and offer to fix it was only after me posting several reviews. Communicating with my original contact go me nowhere. Original review: I made a big mistake. I chose a very costly turf vendor because of their Instagram account of "turfgirlbymerissa," despite what my gut told me. Bottom line: DON'T DO IT!  Here's my story. It all started off great. In the sales process, Marisa was very communicative, answering my questions within minutes. I was reluctant to "close" the deal because I also needed to install a walkway of pavers from my pool to the dock. Marisa said "My guys can do it, no problem. They can start Wednesday." So I signed...and that's where the level of service took a turn for the worse.  Starting Wednesday, no one showed up. I contacted Marisa and she said "probably later this week." Well, they ended up starting Saturday tearing out all of the sod. "They'll work Sunday too," she said, when I asked. By the way, I have an 80lb puppy who needs a ton of exercise daily. Guess what? Sunday comes, no one shows up. I'm left with a dirt yard that is unusable over a weekend and nowhere for my 80lb puppy to do her biz. Super inconsiderate to do that to me without warning so I could plan. Monday rolls around and the guys come back. I check in on them half way through the day to find that the metal edging Marisa swore up and down wouldn't be visible is 100% visible (see pics) and looks super cheesy. The gutter extension I requested in white, was installed in black and sticks out like a sore thumb. And when I complained to Marisa, she said "the fence is too high, we can lower the edging but you'll have a gap in your fence." To me, that sounds like something she should have been able to tell me BEFORE it was installed. Or maybe they just cleared too much ground and didn't build up high enough when adding sand back in. Because I definitely would NOT have paid the extra $500 to have it installed had I known it was going to look like this. And also- there are sharp exposed cut edges on the metal edging (pictures shown) which is definitely a hazard for my puppy.  Then, I get a text from Marisa saying the guys can no longer do the pavers because the ones I had couldn't be "set in sand." Let me say- the pavers I have were on the pool deck and she saw them with her own eyes during the sales process. I told her exactly what I wanted, and she reassured me it was not a problem and that her guys could do it.  By the way, all of this could have been solved with better communication throughout the process. But Marisa disappears once the sale is closed.  After all of this, the guys say they're done, and it's not up to my standards. After all, this is an $11,000 purchase. Not cheap. I did not want to settle. I expressed my concerns to Marisa and she offered sub-par options for resolution.  Re: the warranty they offer- she'll only text it to you. I had to ask for it and withhold payment before she would send me a copy. I'm actually in disbelief about the document I got, and seriously doubt they actually support this warranty because it's 1 line of text with her name at the bottom.  Here we are 3 weeks after installation. I still have Gorilla Glue stains all over my sea wall from where they glued the turf down. The guys ensured me that it would wash away. It's not. That was complete BS. We also now have sprouts of grass growing through the turf all over the yard after only 3 weeks. I'm confident this is because the layer of sand they used under the turf is sub-par to what other more reputable companies use and because they didn't prep the ground accordingly. See pictures attached. All this wouldn't have bothered me so much if Marisa hadn't been SO confident throughout the sales process and would have been more honest with me. I asked about grass growing through and she said verbatim "There is no way grass will grow though. Maybe in a couple years you might get a sprout and have to kill it." She was completely wrong. "We've been doing this for years. We know what we're doing." No, actually you don't.    By the way, she'll only communicate via text message or Instagram. Make sure you save your messages for proof of what she promised you, and get everything in writing if you do decide to go with her. I should have picked up that this was shady and unprofessional.  Do yourself a huge favor and go with one of the other many companies who have been doing this longer and can communicate better with you so you get what you were promised. read more

Elite Synthetic Turf is an amazing company. Very professional and shows up on time. We used them about a year ago after building our pool and they did one entire side of our backyard. We love it, but, our dog loves it more. We play fetch every single day with him and the turf looks just as nice a year later as it did when we first had it installed. So, after not knowing what to with the other side of our yard (smaller area) we hired them again to finish that area. I dealt with the owner Victor and he was so nice and thankful for us coming back. This is not only a professional company with amazing staff, but their product is top notch. And to top it off, their pricing is incredibly competitive. Better than most other similar company's. I had a section in my backyard where I struggled to keep the grass alive and looking good. I decided a putting green was the way to go and found these guys online. Everything they did was perfect. Worked on schedule, on budget, very nice people and the result is absolutely amazing. I've shown everyone I know the photos and they are all impressed as well.
