I live in SC, but was having a car shipped to Detail City before giving it to my parents. AJ could not have been more accommodating, even helping me find a trusted cross country shipping company. He sent videos of the car being delivered and kept me informed about the status of the car. The before and after photos of the car after their service, was truly amazing. The steering wheel had about 50 years of gunk on it, and AJ and his team had it looking brand new. The put some sort of paint sealant on the exterior, and brought this deep red out of the paint color. Unfortunately there was a mechanical issue with the car that came up right before I was about to present the car to my parents, and that is where AJ's customer service went above and beyond anything I have ever experienced. He came in on a day off to let a mechanic come and look at it in the shop. He even was doing research on his own about what possible issues could be with the car. He let us keep the car there until it was up and running. The car is a manual transmission and my parents haven't driven stick in a while, so I was worried about them driving it for the first time on major roads. Once the car got running, AJ drove the car to my parent's house, so that they didn't have to be on the major roads with it. I bought my parents a car, and I truly think my parents wish AJ was their son. In a time where customer service seems to have died, AJ has personally revived my hope in humanity. The vehicle wasn't that dirty it only had 23k on it but I like the paint to it's best. Needless to say but they had a petty good base to start with. I dropped it off the night before and was called the next morning around 9:30 to say my vehicle was done. I'm like did you start on it yesterday seems awful fast to do all that. He replies back yeah we start at 5am. So I pick the vehicle up after work it looks good so I pay the $230 and pull the vehicle out into the sun to have another look. They missed some surface scratches so I pull it back in and they take care of them. I find it hard to believe the scratches didn't come out if they did all three sets of polishing as listed in description but also could be due to the inadequate lighting in the place. So I get home and upon further inspection I notice they didn't even clean rocker panels and most definitely didn't polish them. They are a painted panel which I would think would be included in a full detail. Then I notice they didn't polish the roof the paint is rough and some of the adhesive is still on paint from the wrap the previous owner had on it. They didn't even clean the tires they left all the grime on there and just covered it with more tire shine. They also left wax everywhere see before and after photo of weather stripping. If I can clean it why can't they? I then contact the owner and he dismisses all of it. I ask for a partial refund and he says no they cleaned it to best of their ability. Do yourself a favor and find another shop they didn't do everything I paid for and took advantage of me.

I agreed to pay the $350 and Was told that this guy has been detailing for 22 years yet my vehicle wasn't even half way detailed. All I can tell was the carpet was shampooed. Debris was still in my storage arm rest, my cup holder, my entire vehicle was smeared as if the wax wasn't all the way wiped on, water stains all over, sun visions still dirty, entire ceiling on vehicle still with debris. The guy who did the work texted me wanting me to come right away to get the vehicle as he was ready to leave at 2pm. Business hours state this place closes at 5pm. I told hike to leave the key in the car and I would get there asap. I also sent him a $50 tip via zelle and paid through zelle. I contacted the owner immediately and he told me the same guy would fix the issues next Monday which is a week later. I told him I was no longer comfortable with the employee and the Owner said to bring it back and he had one hour. No thank you, one hour to redo my entire car? no thanks. Asked for a partial refund and got the I'll send a check. Check still hasn't arrived 20 days later. Called yesterday and Owner said he's in Florida and hasn't had The time to write the check yet and he then blocked me.
