They drove up with a fork lift and I loaded it onto their forks and they drove it to their storage area. Not pleased, but what can I do. Just making sure others are aware before you buy here.

They recommended the wrong material and 1 day later I went to exchange it and they charged me a restocking fee!! How absurd, they wouldn't even allow me to exchange for the correct materials. It cost me $60.00 for their mistake!! I asked the girl at the counter to just exchange without charging me the restocking fee and she refused to do it without charging me. I just took my business elsewhere. I guess they don't want my business and not concerned about keeping customers. Very disappointed!! I will never buy from them again! Instead I will go to Roofline where they have superb customer service and better prices!

We had several very heavy beams (6x6) and the delivery guy offered to help my son carry them back to the backyard.... very much appreciated. My low rating is because of the quality of the wood. The redwood had lots of splits in the wood (some of it was actually unusable), plus many knots. The quality was definitely not what I expected for this high-priced redwood. I wish I had been able to hand select the pieces, rather than just getting "whatever" the team who bundles the order selected. Definitely not the quality I would expect from Ganahl Lumber.

He spent as much time as I needed in selecting a little over 95 linear feet of wood. It is for door casings and baseboards with the finished wood to be the star of the detail. They had what I was looking for when all of my normal haunts in LA County didn't. It was worth the two hour drive (one way) to get it. However, they no longer will "rip" the wood for you. Also when I arrived too late on a Saturday and left a voice message, someone was kind enough to return my call. I was there about 3 hours.
