I am the owner of a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander SEL, purchased in March 2024. The vehicle has repeatedly failed to start -- this is now the fourth time it has happened. Each time, I had to jump-start the car to make it run. Despite multiple service visits, the dealer Elite Mitsubishi (Jamaica, NY) has only "recharged" the battery instead of performing the proper diagnostic or load test I requested. The same issue keeps happening, and now the car will not start at all, even with a jump. I also need to report unprofessional and dishonest behavior from the dealer's service department. A service representative falsely claimed that I refused to give them time to test the car, which is untrue. I have been cooperative and have repeatedly requested a full diagnostic and a copy of my second service record -- but I have not received it despite multiple follow-ups. The vehicle is currently non-operational and parked at my home, and the dealer refused to assist with towing. read more

I accompanied my boyfriend here to try to purchase a vehicle that we had seen online, when we arrived we were immediately faced with Karen asking what we wanted to buy in a brutal manner. Like can we put our foot in the door first. We come to find out by one of the nasty guys at the front desk that the car we had seen online was not the price we could buy it for. My boyfriend has good credit $5000 down and works for the city and this place lost a sale. Total waste of time going there, I believe that every review listing Karen Herrera, Savvas, Kevin, Dino, Miguel as helping is fake as no one was willing to help us purchase a vehicle that day and that Karen needs training do not bombard customers get some manners, the other people in the dealership were just hovering at one desk not looking up especially a small man with glasses. Scammers - the worst dealership experience I've ever had. I traded in my car at Elite Mitsubishi. They promised to pay off my old auto loan, but never did. First they said the check was sent, then claimed the loan was paid. It's been over two months and the balance is still unpaid. They started ignoring my calls, and when Mitsubishi corporate called them with me on the line, they hung up the moment they heard my voice. A few years ago, I walked into a Mitsubishi dealer in another state, and got my first Brand new 0 milage Mitsubishi. I wanted a small car for a long time and after researching of all the choices, I settled for the Mirage which is an excellent car and a great choice for driving in the city as is very fuel efficient and it so easy to park a small car. The Mirage is best of the best in my experience for small cars. Because I had a dealer warranty of 10 years or 100k miles, I never paid not even 1.00 on Mechanic services, my rule is to only let the dealer touch my car. In all the years, my car never ever had the check engine light on, and never ever broke down, it was huge savings for me and the best peace of mind to know that I had a reliable fuel efficient car. Absolutely worth the price of a brand new car. So you tell me how I walked into Atlantic Mitsubishi for an oil change and walked out with another 0 millage 2022 SUV ?!!! Lolol, I went in for my scheduled oil change and maintenance, while I was waiting, I walked over and started to look at the 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage because, It looks sooo cute, I love small cars. And Devin comes over and started to chat with me about cars. I said I wanted a Jeep because of the snow and he took me over and showed me the different types of Mitsubishi SUV. It was like a walk in Playland, looking at all those brand new SUVs, space and features, they looked good!!! So Devin didn't really know that I wanted an SUV for the longest because I need the extra space for work and my dogs. Also, I feel that for the highway, an SUV is more safe than a small car and for the brutal snow storms in NY. I was just taking my time to really join the SUV family and the Jeep price range felt like too high for me. From all the different price range, I saw one SUV that was great and with a very very low price tag as the others, so I settled for that one. Buying another brand new 0 millage from Mitsubishi was the smoothest and easiest process ever. I was shocked that within a few hours, Devin managed to get me even a lower car insurance rate, the plates and registration so I could walk out on the same day with my brand new SUV. Trust me, I had used cars in the past, and getting a brand new 0 millage vehicle is a one of a kind experience that we all should get if we can afford it. With Mitsubishi brand, I already knew the product and I trust the brand, and services, I love that because of the warranty, I don't have extra expenses, peace of mind is priceless! I mean, I never had such a great car that in so many years I didn't pay for break downs, never had a break down, or got a check engine light on, for me that is a real miracle as I had owned different brands. I just don't understand why Mitsubishi isn't as popular as other cars. Like my brother loves BMWs..but these cars make his pocket bleed. Danny the manager was excellent, he treated me as if I was family basically. He actually said that if anyone comes to buy a car and they say my name Aura, he will give them a discount, so go for it! Lolol Customer service was excellent and to do business with a car dealer that makes you feel like family and I can just put my guard down, is and excellent shopping experience when making such a serious decision as to buy a new car. Trust me, I read and read about different types of SUVs and electric vehicles which are cool, but I end up marrying the SUV brand that I know and trust based of a few years of great experience. And while I could had gotten credit for my Mirage or sold it at a really great price, I decided to pass it on to a family member because it is just too good of a great car in an excellent condition to sell it off, Mitsubishi is an absolute keeper. My brother was trying to buy it from me lol after he drove it a few times, but I gave it to the family member who needed it the most, win win ! read more

Long story so here it goes. It's a very similar experience from the previous guy who gave the one star review / Scotty S. I was very disappointed with the sales manager *Danny Rosario who made this experience the worst for me & my son. The sales agent Angel, was new and but he was okay. We test drove a pre-owned vehicle priced at approximately $20,500. -Honda Accord Sport. After test driving the vehicle we went inside to the sales agent / Angel's desk. Danny R. who is the sales manager at this dealership shouted out to Angel / sales agent in Spanish "Is the car for the kid ?!".... Angel then replied yes. At that point, I got worried. We drove almost 2 hours from NJ in heavy traffic just to test drive the vehicle we were interested in and were hoping for a good deal. The sales agent added on exactly $3,430. and said it was a reconditioning fee, which was crazy, then said he will knock off $995. (sales tactic) which made it $2,435. adding on to the $20,500 price of the vehicle. I tried to negotiate the car price down but the sales agent refused to budge. He didn't even try to go ask the sales manager. I had to request for the sales manager to come then ask him if he could please lower the reconditioning fee or the price of the car. Danny R. the sales manager tried to plea with me that the price of the car was at the price they paid for it at the auction and that the dealership wouldn't make any profit if he lowered the price. He then decided to lowered the price of "$10.Dollars". At this point, I felt very insulted. I kept my composure in front of my son. I accepted the lousy discount of $10. and asked before they ran my credit if this was the last of any fees that they were going to add on to the car, they said not to worry and see if I get accepted first. My credit was good but not excellent in the high 680's - I had a strong history of credit said the finance guy, after he ran my credit. After the finance guy ran my credit he gave me an interest rate of 12.64%. It was a crazy percentage. Also, he added on an extra $7,893.39 of fees onto the $22,490. of the price of the vehicle with the reconditioning fee. The extra fees include: Acquisition fee, Doc fee, Tax, DMV, & Theft ? which was an extra $3k for only that fee lol... Making the grand total of $10,328.39 worth of fees !' It would be $549.59 a month for 6 years !!! / 75 months - Come on guys !! A 20k pre-owned vehicle with 50k mileage All together for over $30k out the door. Lmao. Why not tell me from the start before they even ran my credit that it was going to be an extra $10k of ridiculous fees. I would've walked out the door a long time ago and saved that credit search for a more credible dealership. *Danny Rosario / Sales manger of the dealership was a clown and I can't understand how this guy is a manager there dealing with customers giving them that same song & dance, complaining about how much profit the dealership was going to lose on the car if he lowered the price. He lowered is 10 dollars lol what a joke. The good news is that I left there without the car. Bad news, my son was let down, but understood how sneaky the dealership was with this process. He also understood not to trust car sales managers who prey on customers. What a waste of time and energy. My advice to anyone shopping for any car is to stay away from this dealership and don't bring your kid in to test drive any car because they will target you and make you pay more. They gave me a lemon suv, they lied about 2017 Chevrolet Equinox.. it started having problems after I got it. I wasted 9k on down for this crappy suv. They are greedy scammers and fraudsters. I thought I could trust them but I'm wrong. They care about money, not humans. I took it to the shops and then mechanic found stuffs when he jumped the battery, he is disappointed and said whoever got me this suv is scam and bad. I'm very angry becauae im sick of hearonf peille take advantage of me and lying for no reasons.. These people didn't want to call me after I called and left a message until today and they said i take it to their place so they can see whats wrong with it but I dont know if they will give me honest answers and I can trust them. I am refused to answer my questions via text. Their so called mechanic made its problems disappear and they kept my family and I waiting for many hours for just windsheild wipers installation. I found out it should not take many hours to install windsheild wipers, just 15-30 minutes. They didn't change the oil before I got it. I took it to the shop for it 2 weeks after I got it. Don't trust nothing of them. One week later, several calls with messages left, several online chats with stated escalation requests for contact, and still no call back. Unfortunately, not good business.
