What I found out after the fact is that the truck is barely safe and requires $2500 of additional repairs. Unfortunately, I'm NOT a mechanic so I was relying on the dealer to be honest with me during the sale. When I called the dealer, because I signed all the "As-Is" forms.. it's basically too bad for me. So, good lesson learned.. in my personal opinion, you can't trust entirely what this dealer says about the trucks they sell you! Ensure you get the Quebec safety AND that you get your own mechanic to verify the vehicle before you buy it, or you will be stuck with a lemon like I am. Good luck!

I scheduled an appt. for an OIL CHANGE ONLY last week. I expressly told the service attendant that I only wanted an OIL CHANGE. No fluid top-ups, no tire rotation, etc. I came back later in the day to discover that they have now arbitrarily DOUBLED their price for a simple oil change. I was asked to pay $183!!! An OIL CHANGE. They added all sorts of hidden fees and even after being expressly told NOT to do any other services, they billed me for windshield fluid (which was already almost full when I dropped off my vehicle), tire rotation (this was not needed or asked for), and a bunch of other non-requested services/fees. By the way; I checked the fluid level and the windshield fluid was the SAME AS WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN! Liars. When confronted with the price gouging, their service manager just shrugged, and said; "well, the price of everything has increased, so we DOUBLED our costs. Sorry." We will NEVER take our family vehicles to this STEALERSHIP ever again. Trust, transparency and integrity are important folks. This place will just overcharge you for things you didn't ask for, then throw their hands up when you protest. DON'T go to this dealership unless you like flushing money down the toilet.

There's so many details, it's a huge financial responsibility and then there's the issue of dealing with a car salesperson. Overall, it adds up to a lot of anxiety. After searching for months for an affordable car with good resale value we decided we wanted to purchase a Toyota Yaris. We then decided we wanted to go through a dealership and hopefully find something a few years old, but with not too many kilometers. After literally searching through every Toyota dealership in Ottawa, we expanded our search to outlying area and DING! We found a sweet deal at Villa Toyota in Gatineau. After making an appointment to see the car, I fixated on what the experience would be like and worked myself into an anxious, awkward person before our test drive. Our Salesman, Eric, was fantastic. Soft-spoken, kind, patient and knowledgeable, he was a first-time buyer's dream. He answered all our questions without making us feel like amateurs. After walking us through the process (with no added pressure, I might add), Eric passed us over to finance where we met with Ginette, who was also incredibly patient, knowledgeable and kind. You can tell she knows what she's doing and she was honest and up front about everything. She didn't pressure us in any way, but advised us fairly. We ended up getting an amazing deal and an added extended warranty. Yes, getting out to St. Jospeh Boulevard was intense, but it was SO worth it in the end. Don't be flustered that the staff are mostly French - they're very clear about everything and are great at explaining things. Everyone we came in contact with from the receptionists to Eric, Ginette and the manager (who personally emailed us to congratulate us on our purchase) was absolutely wonderful. If you're in the market for your first time car, get in touch with Eric. I'm sure he's awesome if you're looking for your second, fifth or tenth as well :)

I purchased a 2012 volkswagen that cost 10995$ -- Again, when purchasing vehicle, It was guaranteed certified and safety checked. Upon taking the car to the volkswagen dealership, it was discovered that the suspension is very badly damaged and dangerous to drive and rear brake caliper is 100 % seized, the e-brake is innoperable because of the damaged caliper and is damaging the transmission, engine and have possibly damaged other components. In addition, part of the exhaust under the car is falling apart due to a rusted out section. Under SAAQ mechanical inspection guide sections 4, 5, 7 (suspension, brakes and exhaust) these components do not pass or meet safety requirements and either were not checked were not properly checked or I was lied to. Heard back from "admin" saying because the car belonged to one of their sales people it wasn't considered a dealer sale, even though it was clearly listed ON THEIR WEBSITE their response: " It is a private sale so denis auto has no relation in this transaction so!" no offer to make this right, no apology STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE Lied about the condition of the car Lied about safety Lied about certification

They checked the car and told me that the bearings were still good. I guess Dormani was trying to screw me some more by getting bearings changed that didn't need to get changed. Makes me wonder if the first set of bearings I got changed there, really needed to get changed in the first place. Beware of this place.

Wait it is only the beginning, Goulet and myself had a verbal agreement that upon returning my old Acure he would give me back my winter tires, rims and TPMS valves all worth $1551.00. Now he claims that he cannot recall such an agreement, I will have to go to court to get back what already belongs to me ! Worst, their financial agent Francine Clement supports him ... talk about a good scam. Save yourself a lot of trouble ... Customer service has been very poor, especially once the sale was completed. Concerns are often left unresolved for weeks, and it feels like you are constantly waiting without proper follow-up or support. We purchased a warranty, but later found out that basic issues such as heating and cooling are not covered, and even diagnostics are excluded. This was not clearly explained at the time of purchase, which was frustrating. The service centre experience has also been disappointing. Booking basic maintenance such as an oil change has been inefficient and slow, with limited availability and poor scheduling coordination. On top of that, after a service visit, there was damage found on the vehicle, which added to the frustration and lack of confidence in their handling of the car.
