We really had no firm ideas of our own regarding how to develop the backyard, but Brandon came out and gave us some really fantastic design options. After consulting with other businesses, we decided to go with Dream Green Landscape. After we explain to Brandon exactly how we would like to use the backyard, he came up with a perfect configuration that combined pebble, concrete, and succulent plants. Brandon sent us all of the potential plants we could use, but we ultimately trusted his creative vision and allowed him full reign to pick whatever he thought would look best. Brandon has an impressive crew that came out and did the work alongside Brandon. They laid irrigation, put in the plants, the ground cover, and the concrete. The final product is amazing. We love our backyard, and with Brandon's efforts, it has been transformed into a wonderful serene environment that we enjoy spending time in. Brandon warranties all plants for 6 months, and when a few plants didn't look particularly healthy, he came out and replaced all four of them no questions asked. I've hired plenty of contractors in my day, but the real test of customer service is how well they treat you after you've parted with your money. Brandon was just as responsive and customer service oriented in replacing these plants as he was in getting our business in the first place. Several of my neighbors who are considering similar projects have viewed and loved the work Brandon did in our backyard. They are currently working with Brandon on their own projects. We've been so pleased we're considering now removing the grass in our front yard and having Brandon put together a design to replace our front grass with drought resistant landscaping. It had an ugly view of a retaining wall, drainage gutter, and parking lot. It also had a beautiful tree that was leaning and had a fence awkwardly placed around its trunk. When heavy rains, felled this tree and ripped out the fence, it was time to finally address this disastrous area. I met with owner Jeremy and landscape designer Jason to help reimagine my patio. They addressed my concerns and wishlist and came up with a great design. The work crew, led by Ray, was outstanding. Every one of the guys on the crew, Javier,Chris, Dewey, Juan, Andy, Frank and Rolando were professional, courteous and respectful to us, my neighbors, and mindful of the HOA rules. Their work ethic and work product were outstanding. The old cracked concrete was replaced with beautiful pavers and upgraded drainage. A Hoff Solitions privacy screen with class a fire rated Timber-Tech planks was placed in front of the concrete block retaining wall and is fully removable if needed. I have more functional seating with a garden wall that allows for some plantings and doubles as extra seating. My Zen boulder fountain was set in ground with accent lighting. A covered pergola was added to define a nice outdoor seating area. A beautiful and functional barbecue surround was built to create a built-in look for my barbecue cart and the surround also provides privacy from the parking area.Landscaping and irrigation were also added along my fence. Because of the increased functionality of the space, it feels larger. My back patio is so much more enjoyable and charming now and I couldn't be any happier with the final outcome. These pictures really do not do justice to this beautiful space. Scarlett's Landscaping may not be the least expensive, but they provided great communication, work ethic, workmanship, management of details such as all permits and inspections, follow-up post completion, and most of all, peace of mind that my project was in the right hands. Diane has experience with native plants and succulents. She is very environmentally conscious. And her deliverables are amazing and a great value for her cost. She provided a detailed graphic of the plans as well as PlantMaster files. PlantMaster is an amazing program offering huge amounts of data regarding the plants in your plan. Our front yard was dead grass when Diane started and you'll see from the photos how it has been transformed to a water wise design with incredible plant and succulent choices. She followed the requirements needed for the state rebate. Her landscaper Daniel and his crew did an amazing job and continue to stay in touch helping us learn how to care for the new plants. On the day of planting we saw multiple butterflies! That quick! Our back slope is monstrous at 4400 square feet and quite steep. We honestly wanted to keep the design simple to save on costs and Diane honored our wishes. But even her cost-efficient design turned out so beautiful! I cannot wait for the foliage to grow and the seasonal colorful flowers to bloom. Diane recommended gorilla hair mulch for our steep slope to help with weed control. We had never heard of it but it has held steady with our recent rains and wind. We were concerned about using regular mulch because we have a pool and didn't want it blowing into it during winds. I especially loved how she incorporated a succulent rock garden into the plan. Daniel and his team worked tirelessly over a few weekends to do the install. I was so impressed with how quickly they were able to finish such a huge project. We had multiple bids and Diane and Daniel were extremely reasonable. I especially appreciated how Diane offers to select the plants and pebble/stone/boulders and come during installation day to place them. One story about Daniel. We calculated via the internet how much mulch we would need (22 cubic yards). He told us that the calculations are not always correct that that we should start with 9 cubic yards which was one delivery. We had enough! We saved so much money with his expertise in this area. Diane and Daniel were also very patient with me during installation. I would see a plant or boulder in one area and request it to be moved and there was never any hesitation but to honor my wishes. Okay this is a long review but very good people deserve very good reviews with lots of detail! Thank you Diana and Daniel for a job so well done.

One important lesson is to use proper contractor despite the price on your home. We had Wonderworks redo a lot of the landscaping work that had been botched by previous contractors. They were perfect for the most part except for some instance of miscommunication where a team was sent out to start a job before we had even agreed on the details. Other than that, they've done DG, drainage, and a retaining wall for us and everything was done properly. They dug deep enough for the DG, they built the retaining wall with proper support and drainage and the drainage they installed at the side of the house completely solved a problem I had with water pooling. Look forward to working with them again to do a paver driveway.

Our salesman Jay was very easy to deal with, was extremely patient and polite and explained everything in a manner that was easy to understand. The one thing I'd suggest they improve is the design process. When we met with the design consultant upfront, he put together a rough drawing. We were told it was mostly just to ballpark costs and that the real design would come together closer to install. The issue is we never actually received that drawing, so we ended up having to finalize everything with the construction manager kind of last minute. It really wasn't a big deal, especially since we asked them to hold off on starting for several months while we finished up some other backyard projects. A clearer process there would make an already great experience even better. We would absolutely recommend System Pavers. Great work, great people.
