I really loved our service on this trip, me and my friend are what some may call "frequent flyers"…read moreto insomnia cookies. I've never been met with such amazing service. I really appreciate the hospitality and good humor that Micah R has shown us. I hope that management takes note of his excellent service and treats him well. We come to insomnia like 3 times a week and everyone else is stale and in a bad mood. Thank you Micah for lightening my hard day. My spirits are lifted. Today was my first time having the wild berry ube cookie. It was okay. My friend got the chocolate brownie and cookie dough ice cream.

Based on the photos on the app and social media, I was expecting a big, thick, puffy bakery-style cookie. Instead, the cookie I received was pretty flat, thin, and only about 3 1/2 inches across. That said, once I took a bite, I was genuinely impressed. The cookie was gooey, rich, and packed with great chocolate flavor. It definitely tasted much better than it looked. One thing that was frustrating was the promotion they were advertising. There was a huge flashing sign saying you could get a free cookie if you joined the membership club, but the QR code was so tiny that my phone couldn't scan it. The code only flashed on the screen for a couple of seconds every several minutes, and it honestly didn't seem to work very well. In the end, I paid the $3.95 for my cookie and went on my way. While the presentation and promotion were disappointing, I do have to admit -- the cookie itself tasted really good. Sir was really cute. It was very small in the plaza in Claremont.

Stop by BBQ Station because it's new and we like to try them out…read more It's more like a cafeteria style restaurant. You walk in and place the order, then you enjoy your meal. Food: the brisket, tri tip, and the sausages are the bomb. Ribs are also really good. Falling off the bones. Sides: mushroom is a must. The grilled veggies also a must. Sauces: the spicy bbq sauce are good and has kicks. All and all. Really good place to go eat.

I decided to go with the station tray! Of course, I went with the beef brisket and you have a choice of two sides. The sides are shown like cafeteria style which I like so I can see what is offer. The lady helping us also let me try before I pick. I ended up going with their mac and cheese and green beans. I love their mac and cheese! Its rich and creamy and very good. Their brisket was good. A bit dry in certain pieces. The tray also comes with pickles, pickled onions, and slider rolls. I end up making a couple of brisket slider and they were great. They do offer ordering the meats by the pounds and you can order their sides in different sizes containers. Overall, great place for BBQ if you're in the area.

I also asked them to put the condensed milk on the side which was perfect as the shaved ice itself already had plenty of flavor so I didn't even need the condensed milk. I loved that they included actual taro in it and vanilla ice cream to it! The size was pretty average for what you pay for so no complaints there. Seating is a little limited though and it can definitely get packed really fast, especially at night time. They also have a lot of different things on the menu besides bingsoo such as drinks, halo halo, taiyaki, and other desserts too. Service was really fast and parking was really easy as well!

They offer several fillings to choose from, and I went with the custard for a more traditional flavor. Big mistake only getting one because it was SO good. Definitely should've ordered more. We also got the banana crunch bingsu with granola crunch, and the texture of the ice is completely different from the snow cones you'd get at a carnival. Think soft, pillowy, melt-in-your-mouth ice that's super light and refreshing. You really just have to try it for yourself. The seating area is on the smaller side, but the service was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back!
