Love the blk, gold, and pops of greenery!
Julie L.

Gorgeous storefront with the lush green foliage & centerpieces set to dark walls highlighted with black and gold. Very chic and yet spa-like serenity...at least for me. :) The glass case was filled with giant cookies, egg tarts, and this rectangular clear boxed berry trifle that was a masterpiece to behold. I had dropped off the fam at the rink for the tournament & stopped in to get my vanilla latte for some calm before the storm. Of course I had to get a Portugese egg tart to pair with my rising back from the dead. Delicious frothy and a perfect amount of coffee x sweetness. Paired with a uber crispy flaky tart...perfection. Thank you Yelp, Paderia, and Hayley for an amazing YEE. You saved my soul and reset me! Definitely will be returning to try the berry trifle & other delicious desserts I saw on display. Xoxo

Thank you Hayley, Yelp OC and Paderia Bakehouse for this awesome experience! I did get super lucky, as my slot was secured last minute and you bet I was stoked as the pictures looked really yummilicious! The store was so clean and cute - exactly what you'd hope for in a coffee shop. What I did like also, was that it didn't *smell* like a coffee shop. It was just very inviting overall. Very inviting colors too. Not too much seating, so if you're lucky to snag a spot, it would be nice to do some work or just relax for a bit here. Display was on point. I was very sad that their s'mores cookie was sold out though - but, more of a reason to come back and try it next time, right?! Everything in the case looked amazing though - and for real, I will have to come back multiple times to try everything at least once. Okay, so onto the order. From their list of menu offerings, I opted for their Ube Coconut Latte. It was seriously so hard to choose from cus well yeah. Everything sounded good haha. But it was between this one or the pistachio latte, and I ended up choosing the Ube coconut. The presentation was gorgeous- and the taste was excellent. Salted foam on top was rich and perfect - latte itself was not too sweet - coffee was flavor was nice and strong. Just how I like my coffee. I did get a few pastries to go because well - how could I not?! Just look at them! I got 2 of the egg tarts and 1 salted chocolate chip cookie to go. The cookie though! It's huge! Yeah. Super glad this place isn't far from home. Definitely coming back for more!!!

First of all - love Paderia. But I've always loved them for those cookies and the egg tarts. So of course, while I was here I HAD to grab some egg tarts and cookies....but I also had to grab my yelp coffee! These were the choices: Pistachio Latte Ube Coconut Latte Vanilla Latte Mocha Latte Salted Caramel Latte I was in between the pistachio and the ube coconut, but ultimately tried the pistachio. I was curious for how it'd taste and it was a picture perfect latte! It was a subtle hint of pistachio - I do wish I tried the ube coconut as well, but that just gives me a reason to come back and try it! I haven't been for a while but they also had cookie samples! Talk about a wonderful trip. Thanks Yelp Elite for putting Paderia back on my radar :)

Salted Caramel Latte. Served cold. A thick layer of foam is delicately placed on top with a smattering of salt & a swirl of caramel.

Dark academia vibes and I absolutely love it. The offer was for a complimentary drink, but after glancing through their menu, I knew full well food was being got as well. THE DRINK. - Salted Caramel Latte | Served cold, this latte was not overly sweet. A thick layer of foam is delicately placed on top and a smattering of salt and a swirl of caramel completes this tasty drink. THE FOOD. Review of the food is on their Yelp page, but cliff's notes version - insanely delicious. Ensaymada (with cheese) was my favorite; soft sweet bread with butter and aged cheese on top. For sure coming back. Thanks Yelp and Paderia! YE022

The worker, sorry forgot his name, but he was a nice gentleman with glasses. He recommended I try the pistachio latte with oat milk and I'm so glad I listened to him. The drink was delicious, and sweet but not too sweet. You can taste the bits of pistachios which was really nice and the drink was so good. I wish I had an other right now. Haha The place was beautiful and the staff was great. Thank you Hayley and paderia!

I've tried Paderia cookies in the past but never a beverage so I was excited to try out their ube coconut latte. It was definitely on the sweeter side and gave me a sugar rush (probably not something I would drink regularly but would be a nice treat every once in awhile). I also ordered 2 cookies that I ended up eating immediately- their cookies are thick, flavorful, dense (but in a good way) and pretty filling. Their service is always quick and friendly and the cashier made some good recommendations on cookie flavors based on what they had remaining for the day. There's plenty of parking as they share the same lot as 7-11, Flame Broiler, Starbucks, Pressed Juicery. Thank you Yelp OC and Paderia for a sweet treat!

Eye catching menu

It was my first time trying paderia, and I'm so grateful to this yelp elite event for bringing me here! You walk in and can immediately feel the classiness of the decor. Even though there were some groups of people when I visited in a Saturday afternoon, my drink came out decently fast, just enough time for us to appreciate the decor and take some pictures of the menu. I decided to try to Ube coconut latte, first without mixing the layers and later all mixed. I liked how smooth the creamy top added to the drink but without it all being overly sweet. Looking forward to swinging by again soon!

Ube Coconut Latte (minus the espresso cuz I don't drink coffee)
Michelle S.

I'm up for Ube anything always so I was very excited to get picked for this YE event. The pistachio latte was also tempting but I can never resist an ube drink. This is not even on the menu yet so I'm feeling pretty special just placing the order. In fact, a patron next to me asked me what I got and said she didn't see it on the menu. #yelpelitebennies Normally this latte comes with a shot of espresso and made with whole milk but I do not drink coffee so I asked for mine without espresso. I'm also lactose intolerant so I asked for almond milk (they do have oat milk as another non-dairy option.) FYI There is some condensed milk in the Ube make sure so it's not completely non-dairy but this is (lactase) pill worthy in my opinion!! As all good Yelp Elite Squad members know, we want to support the business that is treating us so I purchased one of their oatmeal raisin cookies. These are chonkins not only in their weight but also in their flavor. I actually hate raisins but the ratio of oatmeal cookie dough to raisins was tolerable. It's definitely a sweet cookie and I don't think you could eat it in one sitting because it's so thick and dense. So this will last me two to three days! They had other cookie options but I'm allergic to chocolate so this was the only non chocolate option they had today. They also have a lot of other desserts that look interesting. The staff is friendly, the order was accurate and they have good indoor seating options!

Vanilla Latte
Heather R.

How did I not know about Paderia?! Especially with this location being so close to my work! I arrived on Sunday, around 1:30pm and the place was definitely busy. Everyone was so nice and answered all my questions. I decided to go with the Vanilla Latte with one pump of the syrup. Definitely perfect with the right amount of sweetness. Service was quick with only having to wait a c oupl eof minutes before my name was called. I'm so glad I got to be a part of this Elite Event. Definitely looking forward ot my Monday morning coffee!

Left is Vanilla Latte (comes with a thick, creamy foam on top), right is Mocha Latte (solid cocoa flavor, not super sweet)
Laura H.

Paderia is always such a nice refuge from the outside heat. I normally come here for the scrumptious chonky cookies, but yesterday I left with two of their new menu drinks: a Mocha Latte and a Vanilla Latte. What I appreciate about these drinks is that they're not extremely sweet like most of their current selection of beverages. The mocha has a strong cocoa flavor, which is great because chocolate is just amazing. The vanilla has an interesting milky flavor that I can't really pinpoint, but it goes well with the thick, creamy foam on top. Staff were helpful with the check-in and ordering process. It was a busy day there, with lots of people seated inside and others coming and going, but my drinks came out relatively quick. I'm enjoying what Paderia has to offer with their growth and success as a bakery. I'd love to come back to try the Pistachio Latte, Ube Coconut Latte, and Salted Caramel Latte. Much thanks to Paderia and the Yelp Event coordinators for this opportunity!

Heather T.

Thank you Hayley and Paderia for hosting this event! So many delicious options for us to choose from, but had to go with the ube coconut latte and loved it! Definitely coming back for that. Probably one of the best coconut coffee drinks I've had in Socal! Shoutout to Robin for the friendly and welcoming service!

Ensaymada
Christine C.

I ordered the pistachio latte and an ensaymada and both were delicious! The pistachio latte has a nutty flavor with a creamy coffee base. The ensaymada is light, fluffy and buttery with a hint of sweetness. The drink and the pastry complement each other. The decor in the coffee shop is posh with sophisticated decor. The cashier was really helpful and nice as well. There was enough parking in the parking lot and so it was an overall good experience. Thank you Hayley!

Lorelie C.

Used to always just be a plus one, and this is my first ever Yelp event under my name. And it didn't disappoint. It was easy checking in and claiming the drink. Staffs were all nice and helpful. I got the ube coconut latte and it was yummy! Not too sweet, just right. The coconut flavor is not overpowering. We also ordered the Portuguese egg tart which is delish, hot and fresh. Also got the ensaymada and it was yummy! Reminded me of my favorite ensaymada back home in the Philippines! The place is so nice, classy and clean which made the Yelp event felt luxurious. Thank you Hayley, @YelpOC & @paderiabakehouse

We…read morestarted the night at Treehouse, a rooftop bar with beautiful ocean views and cozy firepit seating. To break the ice, we played a social bingo, which ended up being a great way to meet everyone. We were offered two drinks here: the Pink Flamingo and the HB Christmas. Both were delicious, but the HB Christmas was my favorite. Afterwards, we headed over to Lorea, which had a modern ambiance with a long communal table set up for the group. We got to try a wide selection of dishes including Parker House Rolls, Harvest Apple Salad, Assorted Sushi, Tomahawk Steak, Whole Fried Fish, Grilled Chicken Panzanella, Roasted Acorn Squash, and for dessert, Apple Alchemy and Carrot Cake. The assorted sushi was fresh and delicious, and I really liked how well the tomahawk steak was cooked, however it did need the chimichurri and sauces for flavor. The mashed potatoes that came with it were delicious as well. The fried fish was beautifully presented but a bit mild in taste. However, the mango salad on top added a nice, refreshing contrast. The harvest apple salad and grilled chicken panzanella were decent, but I found myself wishing for a bit more flavor in both. The desserts were great, not too sweet, and the Apple Alchemy was really fun to watch them assemble. Service throughout the night was friendly and attentive, and I appreciated that they offered mocktails for anyone who wanted a non-alcoholic option. At the end of the event, they announced the bingo winners (woohoo!) and I received a candle. Overall, this was a very well-planned and enjoyable evening with great food variety, beautiful venues, and a fun way to connect with other Yelpers!

I had a fantastic time at this elite event. It was good seeing old friends and meeting new ones. It took me a long time to draft this review because I wanted to capture how awesome it was. We first started off with the treehouse rooftop experience. We had a choice of two cocktails and I chose the pink flamingo. It was absolutely delicious. It has mezcal, lime, Thai chili infused Aperol, cortisone, watermelon and egg whites. Now my favorite is any drink that has Aperol in it so this was the winner for me. The view at this treehouse was absolutely fantastic and breathtaking. It happened to be one of those great somewhat chilly nights that had the most beautiful sunset. Next we went downstairs to Lorea to experience some good find dining and tasty eats. We first started off with some appetizers. Their Parker house rolls are absolutely delicious. You have the option of spreading European salted butter or Turkish chili lime butter. I enjoyed both types of butter very much and I am looking forward to getting these rolls again. Absolutely worth every calorie and carb count! We also got some harvest apple salad, which was also delicious and it had arugula, market, apple, aged, white cheddar, and a cider honey vinaigrette. This combination was quite delicious and refreshing at the same time. Another appetizer that we got was a sort of sushi which was displayed very nicely and very grandeur. Just already with these three appetizers I was already feeling full. To pair with this appetizer, we also got a drink that was used you infuse and absolutely delicious and strong on the alcohol content. I immediately turned red and was having a good time. Now let's discuss the entrées. There was a large Tomahawk steak 32 ounces that we shared with the entire table and let me just say there was still a lot of leftover. We also got the whole fried fish which I really like the flavor. It has mango salad on the side, mint, and sesame . We also got a grilled chicken Panzanella, which was good, but some parts of the chicken was a bit dry. Overall presentation was beautiful. Lastly, we got roasted acorn squash that was actually cooked in brown butter with some pomegranate and sage. Let me tell you this is one of my newest favorite vegetables that I will absolutely definitely order for the future every time I come here. By this time I was pretty full, but then came dessert, which is one of my favorite meals of the day. We had carrot cake and apple alchemy. The carrot cake was actually quite smooth and not too strong and cream cheese flavor. I'm not a fan of carrot cake but this one actually tasted just right. My favorite was the Apple alchemy as the display, dry ice effect, texture, taste, presentation, multiple aspects to look at was top-notch. The owner also gave us espresso cheesecake, which was quite delicious and paired nicely with their after dinner cocktail (which I believe was a mixture of Baileys Irish cream over ice). Overall, I had a fantastic time at this Yelp event and I would rate this as one of my top favorite Yelp events for OC. I feel like Haley went all out and did such a superb job on this event. Big round of applause for OC Yelp and this team! So glad I found a new place to dine and enjoy the sunset views. Plus there was live music playing along so it was quite a pleasant dining experience and evening.

All the staff were very professional and attentive. I appreciated they sat us at a booth seating for 4 vs a table for 2 (otherwise all our orders wouldn't' have fit on there) We absolutely enjoyed the Spicy Miso Carbonara + the Yuzu Peach Refresher. The udon was chewy, sauce was savory but the pasta was spicier than I had expected. This pasta dish is a little heavy - so I say it's best to share. The spice level was just right, (but they offered chili flakes and chili oil for those who like it super spicy!) The fusion of Italian and Asian cuisines that I never knew I needed!! We also went a little crazy and ordered three other entrees: seafood poke pizza (sounds wild but the fusion was unexpectedly satisfying..) and seafood mafaldine (so much crab meat and seafood!) and the burrata caprese.
