Because our guests had a lot of food issues - gluten, nut and dairy it was a real challenge! Stephanie carefully curated a menu that hit all of our requirements. In addition, because we live out of town for most of the year, our decorations, holiday plates and whatnot were quite limited. Stephanie put my fears to rest by assuring me she'd take care of all the details. As the day of the party dawned, we had the place all cleaned up and ready. Stephanie and Mary arrived about an hour before the guests and set to work transforming our little place into a festive, inviting party spot. We had holiday cocktails and mocktails, delicious heavy appetizers and desserts that were out of this world. Stephanie literally thought of everything. All the food was labeled so our guests could choose foods that were best for their food sensitivities. At the end of the party they gathered everything up, helped set aside uneaten food for later consumption and left with very little for us to other than sweep the floor and fall into bed after a very fun and satisfying gathering of friends. All the guests loved taking photos with the different back grounds and using the many party favorites to enhance their photos! The owners Melissa and Jay were absolutely wonderful! I wasn't actually sure of what to expect and they came in and set their entire process in a timely manner and explained how the process worked. Simply stated they made the atmosphere more festive and caused our guests to be more interactive and engaging with each other! The cool thing is whenever the wedding party/family were taking pictures it gave our guests something to do instead of just sitting around doing nothing. How delightful it was to have them apart of the momentous occasion! I will definitely have them included in any of my upcoming events because they made our day even more "Special!" To be honest, it is uncomfortable to write details about my experience; but to keep it short and to the point. Shannon just doesn't have what it takes to manage many moving parts. You can hire her to plan your kids birthday party, but by no means can she handle a wedding; and mine had under 150 guests. My other vendors had a hard time coordinating with her and appeared disgruntled towards her. understandably so. She might appear to write things down, but manages to confuse dates, times and specific requests. Hope this helps the next bride; Pay a little more and get a stress free day!
