Trying to schedule with this company is awful. They don't return calls or emails, even though they already have collected our money for "behind the wheel" lessons. If they didn't already have my money I would go elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this "driving school" to my worst enemy. read more

This place is amazing. I took two weeks of classes and now know more about the road and driving than anyone I know. I feel so bad because I can't remember my teachers name but she seriously goes above and beyond. They are very busy because they are probably the best school, I was disappointed at first because they were not answering my calls but I left a message and they told me I can easily just sign up for classes online lol. I got 100% on my test first time I definitely recommend!! Update: I set up a driving lesson behind the wheel a week in advance with James and told him I have a car to use and I'm 18+. I called and told him I have to change the address and he said that'd be fine. The lady showed up at the wrong address and was confused on what was happening. I told her I have a car to use but she thought we were going to be using hers or going to take the test. I was only expecting to pay 100 for 2 hours but she said 300. I felt bad because she has a broken leg and probably has medical bills but if James has too many customers to care to then the word needs to get out. I just signed my second daughter up for drivers Ed classes at Elite. My first born has her drivers license and took the classes starting last year. I love the convenience of their classroom schedule, and also the fact that I'm supporting a local family owned business in my community. I highly recommend this professional driving school for any parent searching for a good one. My kids can walk, carpool, or ride their bikes to the convenient location off Penn and 66th in Richfield. I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you. My daughter passed her driving test the first time she took it (and with a tester and tester trainee in the car too boot!) The tester told her that she was the most "boring" driver she has ever had. And while my daughter was apologizing to her, the tester very quickly said, "No, that isn't an insult. It is a very, very good thing." The tester explained that she was very aware of her surroundings and cautious without being so overly cautious that she disrupts traffic. Because she is the first teen driver in the family, I am of course a bit nervous, but I am confident that she received such good instruction - both through the classroom and the BTW instruction with you - that I am much more at ease with the transition into the world of "adulting" as my teens like to say. read more

My daughter took her behind the wheel lessons with Elite. They gave good feedback after drives and helped her work on that which she needed to work on. We followed their advice and drove with our daughter between lessons so that she could get the required drive time in and improve her skills. She had no problem passing the driver's test; she was more than prepared by Elite and lots of practice. I would recommend Elite to all. We had an excellent experience with Elite Driving School - noticeably better than an experience with a different school with our oldest. The facility was cleaner, the classes were more engaging (per our kids' description), and the driving instructors provided a review of each lesson on paper so we could see where attention was needed to improve driving skills. In addition, unlike the other school, they recommended spreading out the lessons (rather than all at once up front) so that they could help our daughter at various stages in her learning (and keep the final lesson close to her behind-the-wheel test). We HIGHLY recommend this driving school and will send our youngest there when it is her turn! read more

Wow. Not much good to say. Their website is terrible, their e-mail address isn't valid, the phones aren't answered nor are calls returned unless it involves receiving money. Classroom instructor thought he was done when there was still another week left of course work and he presented the lessons out of order. Behind the wheel was ok until this last one--cancelled and rescheduled for today. Meet at a specific location at 10:00. Substitute instructor showed up 30 minutes late; didn't know where she was supposed to go, didn't have directions, didn't answer her phone when we tried calling to see if she was lost. All in all, pretty bad service. My son said that as he left to begin his last behind the wheel, the gas light was flashing and they had to stop at the station to fill up in order to avoid running out of gas during his lesson. I have 3 other future drivers in my house and Elite Driving School will NOT be receiving anymore of my business. read more

Horrible school. There were only 5 boys in the class, two from Germany, and James, the "instructor", read in monitone form the manual!! The watched movies, that were basically the same to the point that my student said they were more or less now desensitized from an accident. First one gave him a wake up call, that last one was "no big deal". THEN, James requires you to TEACH the student to drive for a minimum of 10-12 hours before he takes the student out, so basically you have to teach your student everything! He failed his written test the first time. The family worked with him for several days, he took the test and passed! After 10 to 12 hours of driving now what is James going to teach? Parking? Guess again. SO, when I personally tried to explain my concerns James became a child and said he would give me a refund. REALLY? Not what is wanted. When you pay to have a job done you expect it done. And that's what I told him. "Just do your job". Finally he did say OK he would finish his job but that he only wanted to talk to the student (a 17 year old) from then on. AND when I asked when he was picking the student up for driving he said 5 oclock, which is DARK now in Nov. REALLY, AGAIN? Your first time driving with this student and it's after dark!?!?! So I asked him, "After dark? You are going to take him driving for the first time after dark.?" And guess what the "mature" owner and instructor did??? No, he didn't explain. He hung up!!! They may be cheaper, but now we know why!! DO NOT USE THIS SCHOOL. I believe James has a full time job and does this on evenings and when he feels like it. NOT PROFESSIONAL IN ANY WAY!! read more
