Danny thank you so much! Our family and friends all loved you too!!! You were so awesome to work with, even from the time we met you via zoom for our first meet and greet. Love the fact you were not stressing when we had to change the venue setup 2 weeks before the wedding. All the music choices, speed, and mixes were all excellent! You also killed it with being an MC. Thanks for being open and comfortable with our script for the game and intro speeches! Notes to all couples who are thinking/getting married in SB/Los Olivos area, I'm sure Danny knows many venues and wedding planners. You'll be in more than good hands! read more

Danny was so EPIC!! He had the entire wedding dancing the night away and kept everyone moving. It was so fun. Danny is professional, kind and creative and we would highly recommend his DJ/MC services to anyone planning their wedding! He's the best! read more

We hired Danny Vasquez of Elite Disc Jockeys to DJ our wedding this past July at Riviera Mansion in Santa Barbara. We communicated with him almost entirely thorough email as we planned our wedding from Arizona where we live. He was so easy to communicate with and answered all my questions thoroughly. I had reached out to a few DJ's prior who seemed too pushy, cheesy, expensive, and didn't demonstrate active listening as they seemed to disregard what I wanted in favor of what they generally do. Danny was the complete opposite which is why we asked him to DJ our wedding. He was patient, flexible with his pricing to accommodate our budget, and paid special attention to exactly what we wanted. Because timing an in person meeting with him beforehand would be tough with us flying in to Santa Barbara a few days before and the rehearsal dinner, venue walk through, etc. to attend, he proposed a Skype meeting to make sure we were all on the same page which was value added. He was professional, organized, and a pleasure to talk to. He also provided us a log in page where we could go in and add songs to our playlist along with a section for notes and also to write out songs not to play which made the process much easier. At our wedding he had his eye on the dance floor all night to pick up on our guests mood and chose the right song to play at the right time which is exactly what you want on your wedding when you're preoccupied with 1000 other things. I highly recommend Danny Vasquez and would book him again in a heartbeat. Thank you Danny! read more

Hiring a DJ for your wedding can be scary. Nobody wants a DJ that is super corny on the mic, doesn't read the crowd, and that plays the stereotypical "wedding music". Danny Vasquez is not that type of DJ. Danny is very professional and has exceptional communication, which is key. Not only did we hire him to be our DJ, we also went through his company to book a mariachi band for cocktail hour and our photo booth. This made things much easier for us since we just had one point of contact for all three things, and he delivered it all. I was very hands-on with the music I wanted played during dinner and the reception, as I had very specific songs I wanted played. This made for a very long playlist and, more importantly, a do not playlist. Danny provides his clients with a login so you can easily create and edit these lists as well as provide other pertinent wedding details. He makes sure to go over every single detail with you prior to the big day, which I appreciate. Danny was able to take all my song requests and blend them seamlessly, which kept the guests dancing all the way until the venue had to start cleanup! read more

Hiring a good DJ is such a vital part of your wedding. And Danny absolutely crushed it!! From the first time we spoke I felt we were in good hands. He's organized, easy to communicate with, and an excellent dj. He did a great job keeping the party going and his transitions between songs were amazing. Thank you Danny!!!!! read more

Danny was an amazing DJ and MC for our wedding! He was able to read the guests so well with dancing and able to keep most people dancing the whole night! He did a great job of playing a variety of music to keep everyone going. He had a great energy throughout the whole evening and was also very kind with the whole process of planning. Thank you for helping make our night so special! read more

Danny did our wedding and he did an AMAZING job, we are so happy that we chose elite disc jockeys for our big day. The photo booth add on was a hit, the up lights added a cool splash of color to go with our theme, and the music was perfect. We didn't really know all of our song choices but we told him what kinds of things we liked and he made great song picks. His website for music choices is super easy to use and lays out everything very clearly. My biggest goal was to have a dance party at the wedding and we got a dance party! The dance floor was full the entire time and he did a great job of screening the requests, switching the song up if there was a lull, and encouraging everyone to be a part of the festivities. He was easy to work with, very professional, and we are so happy we chose to go with elite DJ's. read more

We had the pleasure of having Danny as our DJ for our wedding this past weekend. Danny was such an amazing and professional DJ! He was such a nice guy, very responsive, and very sensitive to our requests and desires for wedding music. We could not have asked for a better DJ. Danny was great at really knowing the vibe of the room and played the perfect songs for the crowd that we had. Everything was phenomenal. The ceremony set up and music, the music for dancing, the lighting, the photo booth...everything! Thank you so much for making our wedding so special. I would highly recommend Danny as a DJ for your event! read more

Danny and all of his associate djs are amazing! Danny flawlessly mixes one song to the next and reads the crowd like no one else. Danny is a true professional who always is impeccably dressed for the events he djs. Danny has a can do attitude and always aims to please his clients. I always recommend Danny to my clients and he is the only disc jockey I have on all of my personal events. Danny loves music and is an amazing disc jockey! If you want a dj who doesn't have "dj voice" and is there at your event to play great music, then look no further! read more

Elite Disc Jockeys - Danny of Elite Disc Jockeys on an event with me and Magnolia Event Design - DJs Near Me

My husband and I had a small outdoor wedding in Santa Barbara this summer and had a fantastic experience with Danny! He always responded very quickly, has competitive rates, and was very flexible with our event. He made everything so easy and stress-free! Would definitely recommend Elite Disc Jockeys to others! read more

We had Elite Disc Jockeys (Danny) play our wedding at the end of March. He was so accommodating and easy to work with. We would definitely recommend him to any couple looking for a wedding DJ. We picked out quite a few songs using Elite DJ's easy to use website that in hindsight weren't the best dance songs but were songs we really wanted included in our wedding. Danny ended up getting those songs in during cocktail hour/dinner while playing more dance style music when the dance floor opened up....we LOVED that. The dance floor was packed all night and all of our guests had a GREAT time! Thanks Elite DJ! read more

Danny from Elite Disc Jockeys was the DJ for our wedding at Zaytoon last weekend, and he was absolutely fantastic. We had originally chosen him because we listened to a few samples from some other events he had done and liked both the music and transitions. We made a great decision, because the dance floor was packed all night. We told him what types of music we like, but with pretty minimal input from us, he did a great job choosing dinner music and then dance music throughout the evening. He also did a great job announcing things throughout the night. He was helpful and professional from the first call we had with him about a year ago, and I would highly recommend his services for anyone needing a DJ for their event. read more

Hands down the best DJ service! Danny and Ramiro did a fantastic job at our wedding with the music, MCing, and uplighting. Danny (owner) was very responsive throughout the planning process and made everything very easy for us! Book with Elite Disc Jockeys if you wish to work with highly professional and personable people who always put you first. read more

Danny DJ'd and MC'd our wedding this past weekend. It went so smoothly, the music was great, the mic's were always in place on time, and we had multiple people comment to us on how great the music was and how well he read the room in knowing what to play next. Danny set up a 30 minute call the week prior to the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page as far as the timeline went, and to make sure he knew if there were any particular important things to us that he could assist with. I would absolutely recommend him for other weddings and events! read more

Danny was FANTASTIC! All of the communication prior to our wedding was incredibly quick, and he has fantastic taste in music! He is also very reasonably priced, and offers five star service. I also really love that he posts pictures from his weddings on Instagram... You can tell that he is really passionate about his job! The website form for building your wedding music is so easy to use and helpful, and there is no song he can't get! He did a wonderful job from the ceremony all the way through the end of the night--truly a seamless job. He read the crowd very well and made sure to balance what we requested with what was ultimately keeping everyone on the dance floor. Our guests all had a fabulous time, and we really could have partied for another few hours with the great music Danny played. I 100% recommend Elite Disc Jockeys :) read more

We worked with Danny for our event and he was awesome! They have an online planning form where you put what music you want to play for each thing like first dance, father/daughter dance, cake cutting, etc. You can also say which songs you for sure want played and which ones you don't. So we filled that out a couple weeks before the wedding. Then the week of the wedding, Danny called us to go over the forms. We discussed the kind of music to play at dinner and during the dance portion of the evening. We also wanted a rather long song for our first dance but didn't want to dance the whole time, so Danny sent us over a few different cuts of the song to make it shorter. He also remixed a slower song we wanted for our grand entrance. The songs he played at the dance portion were perfect. He was easily able to tell which songs people were enjoying dancing to and played those for longer. My husband, the guests, and I had a ball dancing all night long. Could not recommend him enough! read more

Danny we can't thank you enough for helping to make our wedding incredible! Although we had very high expectations, you exceeded them! Many of our guests made a point to come up to us after the wedding to say how much they loved the music. Sometimes it seems that DJs can be sort of distracting at weddings, but Danny has a talent for really reading a room and an ability to blend in. He did a fantastic job at working with the restaurant to make sure that the announcements, special dances, cake cutting etc were timed perfectly-it was all flawless. On the wedding day the bride has enough on her brain, and so it was such a relief to actually be able to have a great time and not worry about anything at the reception. Thank you again! read more

We always hire Elite Disc Jockeys to dj our weddings and events and can't say enough good things. They are professional, kind, quick to respond and detail oriented. They have amazing equipment and go above and beyond. They recently added photo booths to their offerings and we have been so thrilled with the prints and customer service on the day of events. I highly recommend the glamour booth! Thank you Elite Disc Jockeys for making our events so wonderful! read more

Outstanding professional service and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Definitely the best in Santa Barbara and already booked for our Xmas party at the end of the year. I recommend them for any function read more

We love Danny! He did a great job for our wedding at the Santa Barbara Club on October 10th. We worked with him for a few months leading up to the wedding day and he was so easy going and professional and always responded to our questions very quickly. He made the music selection process very easy and gave us a lot of options to choose from for our reception music. He is very helpful and offered lots of suggestions as well. He worked closely with our wedding coordinator and our timeline to make sure all our important announcements we done and kept everything running smoothly. Our guests were very happy with the music at the wedding and everyone had a fantastic time dancing until the end of the night! I definitely recommend him for any wedding or special event and will be referring him to future brides, friends and anyone who is planning a wedding! Thanks Danny!! read more

We lovedddd Danny! He played awesome music and wasn't like all your other obnoxious dj's! He was nice to the kiddos and played all the songs i had requested before the wedding. One special thing i did notice is that when he played a song that i had requested and noticed no one was up dancing he mixed in a different fun track to get the crowd going...it was seriously like wow he is awesome... Thank you danny you made my special day even more special! read more

Our number one concern with the music at our wedding was that it wouldn't keep people moving on the dance floor. We we dreading having no energy in the room. Danny put us at ease and let us he know he has never had that problem at an event he had DJ'ed. It certainly wasn't an issue at our wedding! Danny played music throughout the night to keep people engaged and excited. The dance floor was full from start to finish and we couldn't have been happier with it! Thanks for working your magic, Danny! It was a fantastic evening! read more

Danny of Elite Disc Jockeys was our wedding DJ and he was awesome! The dance was floor was packed every moment because of him. He was very professional, easy to communicate with (email, in person meeting and even did a walk through of our venue a few weeks before bc he hadn't done a wedding there before). We were so happy with Danny, out wedding was a blast and he had a big part in making it that way. If you're in the market for a great DJ, Danny is your guy. read more

Danny was an excellent DJ for our wedding. Very easy-going but still well organized and professional. He made sure to consult with us a few times (once over the phone and a twice in person) and was always quick to respond to any questions we had via email. He matched the vibe of the wedding perfectly with his playlists and incorporated our requests and our guests requests in a way that made everyone very happy. He was incredibly versatile with his music selection and had both young and old on the dance floor. My wife and I had an incredible wedding and Danny was a big part of making it happen...thanks Danny! read more

Danny Vasquez was our DJ for our big night in Santa Barbara on July 1, 2018. From the first day we met to discuss his DJ services, Danny was ears wide open to listen to what we wanted for our wedding. He added his experience to the area we needed to fill in the gaps musically, and was very respectful and professional. Danny communicated the details clearly in plnning meetings and provided a great website to organize the playlist. Danny stuck to the plan we agreed on and didn't try to take over the party with his mic and personality, which is exactly what we were worried about based on other DJs at weddings we've attended. This is not to say he didn't feel out the crowd and play the right music at the right time. Danny was flawless in his transitions and song selections. We also had Danny uplighting which was very nice for our outside venue. We wouldn't recommend anyone else for your music needs at a wedding! read more

Elite Disc Jockeys Dj'd our wedding this past August 2014 at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum. Danny did an amazing job. He was extremely professional, and was wonderful to work with. Not to mention our dance floor was PACKED the entire night from the moment open dancing started. I would highly recommend him for your wedding or event! read more

Danny DJ'd for our wedding and it was all perfect. His website beforehand where we could pick all of the photos was so easy to use and ensured we had all the songs we wanted played. At the event Danny was the best. He got everyone up and dancing and created a great feeling and mood for the whole night. I highly recommend him for any event. read more

We hired Danny, owner of Elite Disc Jockeys for our wedding and were so pleased!! Out of all of our vendors, he really understood what we were looking for. Many of our guests came up to us, saying that it was the most fun wedding they'd ever attended. A lot of that, we credit to Danny. He made the reception the fun party that it was. People were dancing all night, the music was great! There's a website where you put in your song requests and when you'd like to hear them, along with songs you don't want to have played. It was easy to navigate and fun to pick out some songs together. It did take some time to make sure we had songs for everything. For example, walking down the aisle, our entrance at the reception, cake cutting, etc. But it was well worth it. We would definitely recommend him for anyone else. danny@elitediscjockeys.com read more

Danny was awesome! All of our guests talked about how much they danced at our wedding - which is a huge compliment for Danny! He did a great job feeling the vibe and maintaining awesome music the whole night :). Thanks, Danny! read more

Danny Vasquez of Elite Disc Jockeys was our wedding ceremony and reception DJ and I would highly recommend him to anyone in the greater Santa Barbara area looking for an event DJ! He was referred to us by a friend so I was initially biased when talking to other local DJ's. However, after a few phone screens it was apparent that Danny at Elite Disc Jockeys was hands-down the best choice beyond referral. Our phone conversations with him from the start were exciting, filled with collaboration between the both of us. Every time my husband and I had an idea for a song, we emailed it to Danny for advice and he always responded promptly. We wanted to walk down the aisle to violin-covers of rap songs and we could only find them on YouTube, but this was no issue at all for Danny. He found the exact versions we wanted and created perfectly sound audio files from them (now my Mom wants to listen to 'Still D.R.E.' violin-covers cause Danny made it sound so beautiful!). We also had several homemade audio tracks that our friends had recorded that we wanted to be used intermittently throughout the night. He not only mastered the tracks to make them sound as clean as possible, he found ways to sneak the songs in between modern music and made the surprise all the more exciting. Danny MC'ed our entire event flawlessly, remembering little touches that we spoke about here and there, and with complete professionalism. I can't wait to tell everyone I know looking for a DJ in SB about Danny, and look forward to dancing the night away to his amazing DJ skills again. read more

BEST. DECISION. EVER. Danny was one of the most important parts of our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I can't begin to describe how amazing his skills and services were. He was wonderful to work with, and collaborated brilliantly with our amazing coordinator. He read the crowd perfectly, and there was not one dull moment during our entire reception. He knows his stuff both artistically and technically, and was such an asset to our big day. I would recommend him to anyone. read more

We loved Danny!! We spoke with a handful of other DJ's prior to booking, but we liked the energy he brought to the conversation and instantly picked him. He understood that every wedding is as unique as the couple; he worked with us to ensure that the music and flow fit the overall vibe we were going for, and also kept guests going all night. More than that, Danny went above and beyond working with the vendors and our planner to ensure the entire wedding day went smoothly, including helping our family members get around the wedding site (he saved the day for Grandma!). We are thrilled with our choice in Danny and cannot say enough good things about him - we highly recommend him!! read more

Danny was the DJ at our wedding. He did an amazing job! From cocktail hour through dinner, he played great songs building up to a dance party. Once dinner was over, everyone was immediately on the dance floor and didn't leave for the remainder of the night. I've never seen anything like that. I got so many compliments on him. I highly recommend him for any event! read more

We worked with Danny from Elite Disc Jockeys and I highly recommend him for your wedding. He has a great website for organizing your music that you want played and has a planning form that helps you make some decisions about what songs to play when! My wedding went perfect and a HUGE part of it was because of Danny. You can tell that he put in a lot of hard work organizing our songs and putting them all together so that our wedding went smoothly. He really got the crowd into all of the events (bouquet toss, garter throw, first dance, etc.) and really helped the crowd with his awesome DJ skills get into the music. He definitely has some experience mixing music because all of the songs blended together and never made it feel like there was a dull moment. I will definitely be using Danny for any other events that come up! read more

Danny DJ-ed our reception and did a fantastic job. He provided the right mood/atmosphere throughout dinner and built upon that to a more club-like feel for after dinner dancing. He played a lot of our requests and added in songs that were similar in tone/genre. I never noticed a lull throughout the night, people were always dancing. He took some requests from our guests but overall adhered to our specified genres/requests. There was a point when he played some '70s music for the older crowd which was much appreciated by them. We really appreciated his professionalism and his lack of a "DJ Voice". His online music database is fantastic for mapping out songs for the event and submitting music requests. read more

Danny thank you so much for such an awesome job! You guys went above and beyond, always helpful, responsive to our emails, always willing to meet ,and helping us plan our wedding timeline. You guys did we more than just DJ. From the set up at the beach ceremony, the cocktail hour, and into the reception. I was worried how two such diverse families and groups of friends would get along, the answer was ON THE DANCE FLOOR! Edwin had the dance floor packed all night long, everyone had a blast, and I'm still getting compliments on the DJ weeks later. Thank you guys for everything. read more

DJ Danny Vasquez is the man. Our wedding was an outdoor venue in May and got pretty cold at night but the dance floor was going off the whole time! He was great at communicating with us through the planning process, and was even open to meeting us for coffee a couple weeks before the wedding to make sure everything was in order and every detail/request was covered. Danny is a 5-star guy, but as with any wedding there are a couple weird things that are bound to happen. These don't affect our perspective of Danny- we would still hire him again in a heartbeat! But just so you're in the know, here are the couple of glitches we had: 1. the wireless mics kept going in and out during our vows, which just happens sometimes when you risk going with wireless equipment outside 2. he played Return of the Mac, my least favorite song of the 90's (no way for him to know that!) which confused me since we had given him over 3 hours of must-play music on our request list, and that wasn't on it 3. he announced our 2nd-to-last song of the night as the "last song" and then used our dedicated last song as a "bonus song", but it didn't quite work with our guests that way. it was a bit of a bummer since I had always pictured everyone dancing together to that last song. i think he told us he was going to do this, and i didn't squash it. so this may be partly my own fault Danny DID pull off our requested 80's medley without a hitch, and that was a HUGE hit. And he has the best deejay-emcee voice. Plus that smile, he is just a charismatic guy you can talk to and want to sit and have a beer with. We LOVED Danny. We wanted to use a specific instrumental song for our Processional but needed to rearrange the verses/choruses so the groom could walk down the aisle to the part he liked the most. And we wanted to use a First Dance song that had a beginning and end so that it wasn't just faded out in the middle of the song. Danny took all of our notes and requests and edited the songs for us to be just perfect. He made 2 versions of each one so we could have options! This guy just has the best intentions and really has your back, he wants to make sure your day is the best day it can be. And all of that at a reasonable rate, and he is willing to work with you within your budget. Don't get a random DJ from a random huge company! Call Elite Disc Jockeys and get Danny or one of his main guys. One less thing for you to worry about on your wedding day :) read more

DJ Danny was the DJ for our wedding and he was awesome. He was professional in advance and we had several phone calls and meetings to review our style/preferences and the ceremony and reception time line. We created our preferred songs list and he did a great job mixing those in with a few of his own. He also was really good at cutting in the songs (without playing them out to the end) to keep people on the dance floor and keep the party going. We were really happy he was our DJ and many of our guests expressed how good they thought he was as well. Thanks Danny! read more

My wife and I got married April 2015 (sorry I didn't get to this review earlier). We had so many details to iron out while planning our wedding we didn't have the capacity to wrap our heads around specific songs. We had a pretty good idea for the 'first dance' songs and the general style of music we wanted our guests to enjoy during the event but we relied on Danny heavily to fill in the gaps. He did an amazing job of meeting with us before hand to suss out our style and preference. He made us feel confident we'd hear the music that makes us happy and we trusted his abilities to read the crowd and play the type of music we wanted. He absolutely crushed it and, as others have said, our dance floor was packed ALL NIGHT. It started with the first dance, father/bride and mother/son dance of course, and Danny choreographed the music perfectly. No awkward silence or abrupt starts or stops, it was seamless. The rest of the night he had a perfect blend of songs. They fit together so well and helped keep people dancing through the night. Danny is an absolute maestro. read more
