Let me tell you a story.
So, I had procrastinated dentist visits for so long because of my general fear of the drills and dentistry equipment, and because my prior dentist was... sub-par. Let's just say that that's putting it nicely.
When my filling fell out some months ago, I procrastinated again, trying to convince myself that if I was just careful, the tooth wouldn't bother me. Boy, was I wrong. While eating dinner last night, something got stuck in the hole of my tooth and cracked it down the middle. The pain was excruciating for a few moments, and became bearable enough to sleep through, but when I woke in the morning, I couldn't take it.
I wound up calling a service that finds Urgent Care dentistry offices near you and got connected to Carol at Elite Dental. She was so sweet, and because she heard how much pain I was in, told me to head over immediately while she pulled up my information. When I got there less than 20 minutes later, I was immediately seen by Carol and Dr. Jenna Polinsky, who made the extraction procedure quick and painless. They made sure I was comfortable and calm during the procedure (that laughing gas works WONDERS on the nerves), were extremely attentive the whole way through and accommodated me when I couldn't foot the entire bill up front. They were also extremely thorough with their explanations of procedures and allowed me to make decisions as to what I wanted to do.
This is something I've never ever experienced while visiting a dentist's office.
That being said, I will definitely continue to come here for future dental work as I trust what the staff does and greatly appreciate the personal care they give to their patients. They truly are an Elite group! read more
