WOW HAS THIS PLACE CHANGED. Ill start by saying that the best people i have interacted with in that place are only jennifer,janette,and francise . They are great. This place is about money and nothing else. The owner kasmas kasimatas is not nice at all and to be honest is a real scum bag Ive been to the office numerous times and he never said good morning or anything which i could care less but but i had an appointment with a dentist that no longer works there and he decided to pop in the room and proceed to lie to me by saying my dentist no longer works there but comes in on fridays once in a while which is a lie to not lose a customer and money He proceeds to do xrays and a check up and then runs up a tab estimate of $5,000 telling me i need this and that He got up and walked out of the room and i never saw him again Could never speak before but to give a big tab hes all smiles and very friendly This is a terrible place I went there for a crown and it fell out. I go there for fillings and they fell out too They have 1 or 2 dentist bouncing from room to room working on different patients thats disgusting and unprofessional. One dentist working on more than one patient at once they go back and forth Hire more staff if need be. Terrible work being done here . Best dentist in the area. I've been coming to Dr K for about 3 years now. I don't believe my family will attend or look for a new office anytime soon. Dr. K has been outstanding in my dental care for me and my family. I know my wife tried three different dentist in the area prior to coming to Dr. K and let's just say, I'm not going to say I told you so... but I don't recommend nothing but the best in service and quality. The expertises and customer service of the staff is great. I always know my out of pocket expense prior to my visits if I need major work done. They always call prior to the appointment as a reminder in the event life gets in the way. Best dental practice I've ever been to...and I've been thru quite a few. Dr K is awesome! I needed a lot of work when I first started coming here and they have gone above and beyond to help me every step of the way. Dr. K was on vacation one time I needed immediate help, it was a holiday and Dr Niru fit me in right away and spent over an hour of her time fixing me up! The staff is great! It's all about money, never a consultation on what is next, or what needs to be done. Fast answers, Dr. N, she needs communication skills. Partial Veneers were not fitted right, she attempts to correct, by drilling my permanent teeth to fit the error, who does that. Send them back and have them corrected. After the last visit, I just toss the $$ teeth to the side. They move when you chew, not fitted to the top of my mouth, food gets under the bridge at the top. Jackie was extremely thorough with my cleaning and Doctor K was extremely honest. Last dentist I went to told me I had a cavity so I went to Dr. K for a second opinion and he said I didn't have one! The level of unprofessionalism Ive experienced at Kosmas Dental is unbelievable. On Three different occasions my time was wasted, the first occasion Dr. Kosmas was very rude. I Said Good afternoon to him and he responded with a head nod, examined my mouth very rough and didn't even introduce himself. The Second time my appointment was cancelled at the very last minute. The doctors here are not worried about the health of your teeth. They are more concerned with giving you the highest priced services. I went there for years and on several occasions they billed me incorrectly(saying I owed money when I already paid. I grind my teeth and wanted a night guard, they ignored my request. Instead of giving me the night guard and dental bonding i asked for they gave me a quote for $40,000 veneers. I knew they were inquiring about my job to upsell me but to quote a 24 year old making 40k a year 40k for teeth and ignore their request for things that would actually improve their health is absolutely ridiculous. I came here for a FREE consultation, as a new patient, for cosmetic bonding. Although they don't accept my dental insurance, I decided to schedule an appointment at Smile Designs 101 because they have good google reviews, and their website boasted of their aesthetic bonding abilities. As a healthcare professional myself, I figured I'd rather pay out of pocket for a good experience than go somewhere I'm not comfortable. Unfortunately, this place is just another scammer dental office in a run down, old, shady shopping center. There were no other patients there during my entire visit. They used very old technology, none of the equipment in their office looked up to date. First, the dentist (Dr. Niru) offered me veneers, right after I told her that I had just finished Invisalign, after being on it for 2 years and spending thousands on it. If I wanted veneers, I would've just used that money toward the veneers in the first place and never bothered with the Invisalign. Then, she completely ignored my concerns and just mentioned other teeth that didn't need any work. The dentist would tell me one thing then the tech (the same tech from the front desk who signed me in) came into the room afterward and said something completely different, then the dentist came back in and contradicted what the tech. had said, it's like they were playing a game of good cop bad cop. The dentist and the tech were never both in the room at the same time, it was bizarre. They exaggerated the number of teeth I needed fixed. No dentist I had previously seen mentioned all the teeth that this dental office told me I needed fixed. The tech said if I wanted any work done, I would have to get multiple teeth fixed at once, not just the one I was concerned about. I've never had a dentist office tell me how many teeth I can have fixed at a time, especially if I'm paying out of pocket. The tech. also told me that I would not be numbed before the procedure, yet the dentist said otherwise. I told the tech. I'd like to wait and compare their suggestions with the opinions of other dentists I had seen, before deciding. When the tech. realized it wouldn't be easy to scam me because their opinion was not the only opinion I had received, she immediately began asking me questions about what the other dentist had recommended. Then, while I was still sitting in the dental chair, she presented me with a paper that had these insanely high prices, on which she had scribbled "payment is due upon services rendered" with an ink pen. Yes, she HAND WROTE that statement on the bottom of the paper. She then asked me to sign it. I thought it was strange that they would ask me to sign a paper when I told them I wasn't sure I was going to have any work done by them. She saw the look of hesitation on my face and told me I HAD to sign it before leaving. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING AT THIS PLACE IF YOU AREN'T HAVING ANY DENTAL WORK DONE HERE OR HAVN'T MADE A DECISION YET! I had not agreed to having any dental services performed by them, and yet they had me sign that strange make-shift document just for a FREE consultation. I eventually got the dental bonding done, on the one tooth I was concerned about, at a DIFFERENT dental office during my first visit there, and the whole procedure took about 10 minutes. Then months later, I got a bill in the mail from Smile Designs101 for over $100! The bill did not give any description of what "services" I was being charged for. I called their office about the bill and before I could even finish my sentence Amirah rudely interrupted me and asked for my name with an attitude. She then told me not to worry about the bill and that the consultation was indeed free but would NOT give me a reason as to why I was mailed a bill (after I asked her the reason for the bill multiple times), or why the bill had a due date on it if I was supposed to just ignore it. read more

The Dr. named Kosmas is not a good person. He uses underhanded business practices to try to get you to do what he wants instead of listening to what you want. He wants to sell you the high priced treatment and if you don't want that then you better watch out. He will purposely stick you hard with the needle in your bone on purpose. Then he will ask you, did that hurt. What a terrible person. I was always so nice. He did not like that I had money but only wanted to inquire about dentures and I did not want the expensive teeth. This man should not be allowed to be any kind of Dr. He should be ashamed of himself. I am a 60 year old businessman. I own several small businesses. I know exactly what I am talking about here.
