For one, our driveway railing had detached when the snow plow pushed snow up against it. He not only got the railing back to good as new but suggested helping fix the asphalt that came apart from the railing as well. Also, we have a one year old and needed to baby proof our staircase. He put in new railings that were spaced out enough to look good aesthetically but still prevent a baby from slipping through. This was a huge relief for us. However, I was very unpleased with the work he did. To start with, the spackling on the bathroom wall was so coarse and dented that it looked like something on the outside of a house. The painting job was horrible. It took quite a bit of persuasion to get him to fix it. We had a new shower/tub surround placed. When I close the bathroom door, the surround rattles. When I go to steady myself on the shower wall, it pushes inward and it's not sturdy at all. It does not look as if there's any caulking where the shower wall meets the bathtub. We are worried about leakage. The company said they could not put shower doors there because there was nothing to hold them in place. We had him do the linoleum in our bedroom. It was all buckled when finished and he agreed to replace it. He was very accommodating about replacing it. He did not argue at all. However, unlike the first time that he did it, he would not supply laborers to move the furniture back into the room. My husband has a bone spur in his right shoulder and could not fully lift the furniture. Therefore, there are three big tears in my brand new linoleum. As I said, I think he tried really hard to do a good job on my house. But I have a mess to clean up. I will have to hire somebody to redo my linoleum again.I used him because he did such a good job on my friends house. But I am really sorry that I did. I hate to sound harsh. As I said, I wrestled with myself for a long time before I left this review.
