The reality was that they were just a virtual booking agency and didn't deliver any of them. We showed up as directed in front of Sr. Frog's and their representative never appeared. Fortunately, the good folks of Societe Cooperative Lopez Mateos were based across the street and kept asking if we had a booking. After I pulled up the email confirmation and a screenshot of the online payment to Taste of Isla, they accepted it and took us out with their group. (It was the exact same tour and I suspect that they were the operator all along - just a poor hand-off.) El Farito is the first and best site as it's shallow enough to clearly see and photograph the fish while snorkeling. MUSA is a super cool concept, but the shallowest sculptures (you'll visit 3-4 only) are in 25-30' of water and difficult to appreciate. Manchones Reef is nearby, but also more of a SCUBA diver experience than for snorkelers owing to the depth. The captain & DM did a good job of keeping our group of 12 corralled. The only issue is that you're diving from a small panga and the portable swim ladder over the side can be tough to climb if you're elderly, overweight or have other mobility issues. The lunch on Playa del Tiburon was pretty basic, but given the $45 cost of the entire package it was hard to complain. You could either ride back to the harbor with them or stay at Tiburon for a massage and drinks and grab a taxi back later. It's a nice little excursion if it's not too windy.

Initially I was skeptical because a random guy on the street in Isla Mujeres out the Embarcadero approached me for a snorkel tour. I love underwater life but I am not a good swimmer but he assured that he will keep me safe and will show me corals, underwater arches and caves, and oh boy! he delivered. I was snorkeling for atleast 1.5 hours and he paid extra attention to my whereabouts. Btw this tour is not very pricey either, cheaper than most I found online. Special shout out to Brayon (my tour guide) who made my experience memorable. I wish I could give more stars

It's very wooded and jungle-like even though it's in the middle of town. There's a big wide trail for people to walk/jog on. I was hoping to see some wildlife as we were walking, but there wasn't much at the start. However, as we continued, we saw some movement ahead! There were a TON of coatis! It was a family group foraging on both sides of the trail. They completely ignored the runners who went by us. One little guy even ran right by me! I had never seen these animals before, and it was such a treat! There is a small museum which we didn't visit. We were too hot from the walk. There is also a small pond area where there are turtles and a crocodile. It's free to get in so it's a good place to explore if you want something more quiet and laid back on your travels.

There was free parking before arriving but the small fee at Cancun Bay resort was WELL worth the hassle of parking further and walking. Juanito met us out front and escorted us to the check in desk. We showed out prepaid receipt but still had to pay the $15 per person marina fee (which was advised prior to arrival). We all received a sealed snorkeling snorkel and Jose passed out the Mask to all that needed. Jose and Juanito were super! While on the Jungle Tour one of our boats lost power after we arrived at our diving spot. Jose called for a replacement boat and they switched boats before we had finished snorkeling. It was a bummer at first but Jose handled very quickly. I would recommend this tour for families and first time snorkelers. You get about 45 minutes of snorkeling and about 45 minutes of a great boat Tour. Back at the Marina all employees had on mask, social distanced, hand sanitizer and the bathrooms (banos) were clean and in great shape!!! There was a bar and restaurant but we didn't patronize. They also have locked lockers to rent for a very small fee and there is a free area storage on each boat that will hold a standard tote bag.

So we made the taxi driver turn around and go back to see if they had anything available. It's been a busy week here in Cancun for spring break and a lot of places are booked. This was the best decision we have made since being here. We had a Sea Ray yacht for the whole day. Our crew was excellent and went over and beyond accommodating our family. They provided us with refreshments and made us fresh fish ceviche. We spent the day cruising, and sightseeing then swimming in clear waters and snorkeling. It is 2 km far from Langosta beach towards south and more knowns for Isla Mujeres ferry and Bungee Jumping. While entering the beach, lots of restaurant staff will bother you to use their service. As this is a very small beach with one small hill, not much area to explore, we decided to sit in one restaurant. I am not sure of even name of the restaurant. we ordered their mango margarita, local beer and their catch of the day fish. Fish was great and so was their mango margarita. Beach- as I said, there is not much are to explore, I was wondering why people even swimming on this beach with so less space. There was one pier where bungee jumping was happening. Also, Isla Mujeres ferry departs from here. Can come for actions but not for a swim.

Through our online booking we were told we would be picked up at 10am from our hotel. We were in…read moreour lobby promptly before 10 but no ride was present. We ended up having to contact our booking agency who was able to get ahold of Fragata and we were finally picked up at 10:50. Our van did not have AC, thus we had a very very warm ride to the boat. We were let out of the van and told to walk to the end of the path at La Isla Plaza. We weren't given any further direction and were ultimately approached by an employee because we looked lost. We were directed to check in and ended up having to shelve out $70 we didn't expect to pay. Through our booking agency we were told the transportation was $12, and it ended up being $15 (not a big problem). We were then told there was a $20 dock fee per person. An additional $40 we weren't aware of. (Inconvenient, but not the end of the world). We get on the boat and they immediately start blasting music. The ride was beautiful and the staff were extremely nice. Although their English wasn't the best, we got by and enjoyed them. We pulled up to snorkel (expecting that was the purpose of the trip), and only snorkeled for 30-40 minutes. We were given fins and masks, but no snorkel. We got back on the boat, they let folks jump off the boat, but that was the extent of the swimming. We then got back in the boat and were taken to the restaurant in Isla Mujeres. We went to Ice Bar but never say ice, or the bar. The food was decent. The ceviche was the best part. After sweating outside in the dining area, we went back to the boat and were taken to Isla Mujeres' north beach by boat. Once at the beach, you are bombarded by people peddling trinkets and typical tourist trap nonsense. We weren't given any direction and honestly didn't know we'd be going to Isla Mujeres to walk around at all. If you're booking this for a snorkeling trip, I would avoid it. If you're looking to eat decent food and explore Isla Mujeres's north beach, it's a great idea. The final straw to this adventure was the ride back to hotel in the provided transportation. We got into a cramped van with 8 other patrons and the driver had the A/C off. I know it worked because it was initially on, but dear lord the hour ride back to Playa Del Carmen was insufferable. The window next to me got steamed up and was genuinely one of the worst experiences I've ever had. To the point I considered ordering an Uber to make it back. All in all, quite the adventure.
