Peter, not only returned messages promptly, he was incredibly informative in what to look for in a Home Inspector IF I DIDN'T GO WITH HIM !! I had to pay an extra fee because the home I needed inspected was out of his normal limits. It wasn' t much more, and because of my friend's recommendation I went with him. And, we are so happy with the results. I could not make the inspection as Pete insists that one of us should be with him during his walkthrough. My wife went and she was a little nervous as to understanding the "terms" that he might use during the inspection. But, Pete was awesome in explaining things to her. He even pointed out not "ingnorable" (if that's a word) problems as well as some suggestions that need to addressed if we purchase the house. He was so impressive that BOTH realtors wanted him to do inspections for their offices!! Both stated that he was the best they have ever seen. His report was professionally put together and very easy to read and understand. Even after the report, Pete, has answered all questions that we had/have and has been available for all inquiries. Not the type of person that once the business transaction has been completed, so has the communications. So, If you need a Home Inspection, do yourself a favor and reach out the A+ Home Inspections Thanks again Peter!!!

The next morning, I saw a message from Bedford Aire in my email (along with a bunch of no's from other companies)! I'm SO thankful Bedford Aire reached out to me! Even though I got the sense they usually do much larger jobs, Jonathan, the amazing owner of the company could hear the desperation in my voice and helped me out!! Other companies in Brooklyn said Astoria was too far, they were totally booked etc. I needed a very specific tiny wall unit because my window is so small. He picked it up from Home Depot and installed it for me the same evening! He was so kind, professional and quick and did the job for a very fair price. From speaking to him, I can see that he's been doing this for many years, and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in the Brooklyn/Queens area. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

He also took time to make sure things were level as well. In all he was here for about 90 minutes. Everything looks great! If you need a Handy man, Handy Matt is the guy for you! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Absolutely the best person I've worked with. Punctual, professional, and his work is perfection…read more He remodeled the upstairs bedrooms in our ADK house-gently took down the wallpaper (it was peeling off but we didn't know what was underneath and didn't want to have to redo the walls-he nailed it!) and painted each room. He ripped out ancient carpets, patched areas that needed repair, sanded, and sealed them so they look brand new. He had the brilliant idea to install recessed lights which bought us almost an extra foot of clearance (BIG news for my 6ft 7inch spouse who has trouble enough with the sloped ceilings). He also came up with a window unit AC system that keeps our attic bedrooms deliciously cool all summer long. I just can't say enough wonderful things about him.

You'll see what I mean... I paid Soliemoves/Solierun for IKEA shopping and shipping services but have not been able to resolve a dispute with getting a refund due to my items being damaged, most likely in shipping, due to poor packaging. I requested the purchase and shipping of 9 magnet boards from IKEA Brooklyn, and at least 5 of them arrived in damaged condition. Not wanting Soliemoves to lose more money than necessary to fix this problem, I thought I was being considerate when I did not ask for replacements and only requested a partial refund in proportion to the number of items that were damaged. Soliemoves' owner agreed in writing to refund the cost of the damaged items and reimburse me for my additional expense to ship the damaged items back to him, but refused to refund any portion of the original shipping fee. Upon my insistance that it was unfair to pay for damaged goods, the owner continued to correspond with me in a very discourteous manner and even refused to honor prior written agreements to reimburse me for return shipping fees.
