This is a zero-traffic area of my porch, so there is no reason stones should be falling off. Upon reaching out to inquire about the warranty, as it has only been 2 years since the work was performed, and sharing several photos of the fallen stones, I was informed that they only warranty their work for 1 year. Well, thousands of dollars and only 2 years later, I did not expect for stones to independently fall off my house. Now, I have to pay another masonry company to fix Millikan's error. Once he finally did answer, he was rude to me but agreed to do an estimate for the damages. We setup an appointment, and he didn't show up. A week later, my home builder informs me that he casually sent a quote via email with an estimate. I spent the next month trying to get into contact with him for a formal quote and to schedule the work. Calling, emailing, and asking my builder to try as well. This guy is just completely unreachable. He finally responded a month later through text message that he's too busy with his regular customers to schedule work he already agreed to do. Why agree to do an estimate and schedule work? All he did was waste my time and my builder's time.

Yikes!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS CONTRACTOR…read more We contracted with them to do a very simple job of installing trim on our kitchen cabinets. However, when they were done they left a very large and unsightly gap at the top of the trim that was installed. I was told this was due to the unevenness of the counter tops. Normally, irregularities would be discovered and addressed when the field measurements are taken. But apparently there were some miscalculations, so we ended up with the gap. I offered to compromise and provide some additional trim to cover this gap in lieu of tearing out the newly installed trim and starting over. Unfortunately, when I brought this proposal to New Prairie Construction's attention, I was told it would cost me over $200.00 to repair their mistake. I'm unsure how this became my fault, but I'm very disappointed. In addition to the workmanship, we agreed to a not to exceed, time and materials contract. However when I got the bill, it was hundreds of dollars in excess of their original not to exceed limit. They eventually adjusted the bill, but it took several e-mails and discussions for then to own up to their mistake.

My husband picked out all these non-standard fixtures but they adapted beautifully to do the correct engineering to make it all work.
