I have never been here before so I went in and requested my normal service when going to a barber shop for the first time: trim up hair and clean up beard with a clean shaven neck. No wait at all, taken right in by Alexa. She sat me down and asked me what I wanted and she gave me exactly what I wanted. Trim up the hair, keep the top long and clean up the beard so it's a little more than "Corporate Approved" and she came through with exactly what I wanted. Felt like an Indy mom and pop shop type of vibe even though I can tell they are "Hip-with-the-kids." Strip club music (not a bad thing), chill vibes and I wasn't pressured to hurry up at all. I've given Elite Barbershop several chances over the years, but after my most recent experience, I'm done. The shop is already very expensive, and unfortunately the customer service does not match the prices. The owner has never been particularly welcoming and often comes across as rude and uninterested in customers. I decided to give the place another try after not going for a while, and it was a complete waste of time. I waited nearly 50 minutes without anyone acknowledging me or giving me an update. Then I was finally told I might have to wait another 45 minutes for a barber to maybe become available. No communication, no organization, and no respect for customers' time. Really disappointing experience. I can't justify spending this kind of money at a place that treats customers this way. read more

This place is so amazing! Let me tell you booking an appointment is simple they have an online booking option and it was very user friendly. Gave us the option to pay at the store or online right there. Parking is not an issue.. there is plenty! Walking into the store I always see the cleanliness of how the store is! It's aesthetically pleasing and you know you're getting a good service! Lucas greeted us and was so friendly towards my son and me. I knew this guy was genuine like he wasn't there just for the money. Went to Elite today for the first time. I have been growing my hair out for about a year and a half. I met Michael, my barber. Super nice guy and also hard working. This guy spent a lot of time taking care of cutting my hair. He paid attention to detail, and was extremely thorough. Needless to say he did an excellent job. As I sat in the chair, I noticed, not just Michael, but all the barbers seem to be cutting hair with the same precision. Everyone I saw walking out, walked out with a clean cut. Worst cut ever. Not once but twice. I took my nephew here for a quick cut and it seems like they drag out any type of cut for an hour long. The first cut was disappointing and I will never understand barbers who don't ask if you want a line up and just do it anyways. WTH is up with that?? Ask the customer before ever doing that! Anyways the second time we came it got even worse. I wanted to give this place a chance because it's near home but it backfired in my face again and my nephew was a victim to another poor cut. Place was clean and nice but waited 25 mins after my "appointment". Christian was my barber and just straight messed up my hair. I asked for a 0 to 3 1/2 taper fade on the sides and 3/4 inch off the top.... He cut off almost 2 inches and the top is uneven too. He was aggressive when pulling my hair to cut it with scissors and I knew the top was too short when my sides were longer than the hair on top. Also the longest part of my hair for whatever reason is the back of my head. read more

Not only was this the longest haircut we've ever gotten my son, it's also the worst. We were looking for a last minute barber shop as we have pictures tomorrow and I usually drive 45 minutes away to take my son to his usual barber because that's how important it is to me that his hair comes out perfect. But we didn't have time so I found this one and figured we would give it a shot since it's only 5 minutes from home. After it took 1.5 hours (he still wasn't even done but we decided to say good enough and just leave.) luckily my 4 year old is awesome when getting a haircut and was so patient given his haircuts are usually 30 minutes max. Unfortunately I didn't get the guys name because I was tired of being there and I definitely don't plan on going back anyways so we just left. He always gets a hard line and a line up in the front both in which we left without today because how ridiculous it is that it took so long already. 2.5 stars. TL;DR they butchered my son's hair. See pics. Avoid. One stylist 2.5/2.5 stars + other stylist 0/2.5 stars =2.5/5 stars. Explanation + Pros and cons below: Brought my twin sons in. They were taken in at the same time by 2 separate barbers/stylist. One was fine. The other was a disaster. I wish I knew the guy's name -- slightly older African-American guy with those mini dreads/braids (apologies for not know the correct term). Both stylist worked across from each other both given same instructions. Younger Hispanic gentleman finished my son in about 10 mins and it turned out fine. The other guy? Man .. took him over 25 mins. As I'm watching him it looks as if he was being absolutely meticulous bc of how slow and purposeful he was being. I have never been so wrong in my life. -Told him to take half inch off top. Barely cut the top, still long. -Asked to blend in the sides.... Each side was blended differently and unevenly. -here is the worst part. My son usually gets a hard side part. Other dude was flawless l and even used a razor to make it clean. This guy? U know what he did? Instead of making the hard part where it normally goes (there is literally a hard part there already)... He makes a separate additional hard part! My son has 2 lines in his head now. He did this bc he was "having a hard time making the hard part". It would not be hard if he used the pre existing hard part -- which btw the other guy did. Its not like some Overgrown hidden hard part... It is distinct and obvious. Insult to injury is that the new second hard part he put in? Absolutely crooked and not even parallel to the original hard part line. My son is absolutely upset? My wife? Almost took my head off for allowing this to happen. Let me quote Vito Corleone from the Godfather: "LOOK WHAT THEY DID TO MY BOY!" Pro: We were walk-ins and were taken in right away. I was recommended by a friend to this barbershop. I will rate this barbershop based on cleanliness, professionalism and the job that was done. The shop was very clean and very welcoming but there was not a good vibe. I would rate this a 9/10. Once walking in, I was not greeted and two barbers were sitting on the couch in the front on their phones and only one barber on the chair. I would rate their professionalism 5/10, they need to work on greeting their clients when they're the ones bringing the money in, especially if you're a walk in. First of all, I will not mentions the barbers name because he did not Introduce himself. I will say that he was the third barber on the right side towards the back, a Mexican dude. I sat down and i showed him what I wanted. He did not interact with me or acknowledge me as a new potential client. I asked for a low taper and he kind of brushed off what I had asked for. He was on his phone texting during the cut and had his AirPods in. The haircut was not blended and the arch above the side burns were uneven, my left side was higher by half an inch. There was no detail to the haircut as he only took 20 min, which i believe a barber should take at least 40 min for a good and detailed haircut plus I paid $40 for them to mess me up. This is for the owner: please hire people that will focus on the service of the haircut and professionalism. Not just people that want to have a job. Most definitely will not return. read more
