The lobby area is very inviting, with couches and games to play as well as a bar. They escorted us to our lane and Brooke gave us instructions on how to hold and throw the axes as well as safety instructions. Once she left us, they turned the music up so loud we couldn't even hear each other. Since we were the only ones there, we asked them to turn it off and they did. We had fun throwing the axes. They had a sheet of games there, but never showed us how to play them. 2 hours is a long time for 4 seniors. Lol. After about a half hour, they put a group of men in the stall next to us and they were so loud, we could barely talk amongst ourselves. They put the music back on, which I understand. There are 2 rooms, so I am not sure why they couldn't have put that group in the other room so it wouldn't have been as noisy. It was the middle of the afternoon on a weekday so it wasn't busy. I have been to other axe throwing places in other cities, and they didn't have fencing in between, but wooden sides and I liked it much better, as you weren't distracted by other people throwing.

As I went further into the place, it really opened up. There's plenty of seating in the place. They look to have a full service bar for your drinks. It did not appear there was a full-time bartender. Coffee and soft drinks are self-serve. The menu is 2 sided with many of the same things on both sides. There's a lot of typical bar food favorites. I think one is a lunch menu and the other a dinner menu. It did not appear the prices differed. There isn't any table service, so you'll have to go up to the counter to order. I ordered the bone in wings and asked if I could get all flats. I was told yes. My wings came out looking great! Only 1 problem, I got drums too. I'm not one to complain, so I didn't mention it to the server. I chose the peach Chipotle honey sauce. Awesome! Not too sweet with a slight heat. There's a good selection of beers and wine. They also offer many desserts, although I did not partake. I thought everything about the place looked like a cool hangout for the current ax throwing craze. I'll definitely come back for the food.

I've been there twice and both times the ax attendant was less than stellar. The first time, we didn't even know games were a thing. Then, some friends went and told me that their experience was awesome, so I decided to give it another try. I let them know ahead of time that we were celebrating g a birthday and I wanted a fun attentive attendant. The girl who was assigned to us was average and she was also attending to to 2 other groups. I had hoped for a little more personalization considering the cost and that you are expected to top 20%. I gave it to her, but honestly, the service was not worth 20%. I also told the attendant that we were goi g to wait to order u til our hour was up, while we waited for the virtual gun range to ip n. When it was time, I told her that we would like to order. She said she would send someone over. We waited 25 minutes. When inquired, she said we would have to counter order since they only serve people in an ax bay. That would have been much better information 25 minutes earlier!
