I haven't even seen these people and already they were difficult and the receptionist gave me a lot of attitude and instead of saying "we understand and have a good day bye" she said "I agree" when I just said it isn't a good fit at this time. This lady has no business running an office . I usually try to refrain from leaving bad reviews but I have to let people know this happened so others don't experience this. I'm really sad . My therapist recommended them and I can't use them now. If I am spoken to like a 3 year old over the phone, I can only begin to imagine what my in person experience would've been. Not The place for autistic people as they interpret every tone of voice that is a lower tone to be someone upset with them and they make commands like they're training a dog with you.

I had some long-standing issues that were addressed with several early visits, including multiple root canals, so all I can say by way of recommendation is that I kept coming back. I had a traumatic experience just before starting with Dr. Foy with a different dentist being really rough on a root canal and not listening to me, and suddenly, I found I had developed a fear of the dentist, which I had never had previously. There was a lot to do, but the appointments were broken up in a way that they were bearable in terms of length and soreness afterward, but not so broken up that I felt like not much was getting checked off my to-do list with each visit. Dr. Foy went to extreme measures to be gentle and patient with me and my dentist-phobia and I found that after a few visits, I no longer had that particular fear. After that was all cleared up, I became a routine patient just coming twice a year and always very happy. When I had my son, I started taking him to a specialty pediatric dentist at 6 months but he always hated it and wailed and was scared. I think it was just overwhelming and overstimulating. They were kind to him but he just hated it. When he was 3 1/2, Crystal mentioned I could try bringing him in to Dr. Foy's and I wondered why I hadn't thought of that before. His visit with Crystal was literally the first time he not only didn't cry through the whole exam, but that he also laughed! She was able to gently encourage him not to be afraid of the equipment (she showed it to him and let him "slurp" some water out of a cup with the tool that does that). She also encouraged him to cooperate enough to where he actually got an exam. His previous 6 visits at the pediatric place, it was really only them sort of having a look while he screamed. He got a little toy from the bin on the way out and a high five from Miss Crystal and he was so happy. The real test was 6 months later when it was time to go back. He was happy to go in, not afraid, and was already talking about what flavor of fluoride he wanted to choose and how he'd like to do well enough to earn a toy from the bin. I really think that this practice is the place to go for people who fear the dentist. Just tell Dr. Foy in advance and she will really work with you and make it OK.

I've been to so many different offices all over the town including Raleigh, Wake Forest and all the way to Durham and by far the best experience I ever had. I found this office from a Google search and there's nothing but excellent reviews so I decided to check out. So here are some things that I'm looking for when I need to visit the dental office. - Experienced dentist who is not fresh out of dental school or too old that he will drop the instruments on my face. ( Happened to me before and I hope he is retired now) - Friendly and knowledge staff who can explain what my insurance charges and my portion of payment in 3rd grade level. - Not too crazy fancy but organized and clean. ( Don't get it wrong. Who does not like a fancy experience? but I've been to the office where they put me on the TempurPedic chair and massaged my arms during procedures which made me think that those fancy pants services were coming out of my pockets and bills were usually pretty high, too) - Care Credit. ( Didn't had to use it in this office because my bills were always reasonable but it is nice to know that they take Care Credit in case I need to get a big one done) - Convenient hours. (They take 7 am appointment on Tues and Thurs so I can get my work done on the way to work!) Well, this office fulfilled my all the above requirements and I'm really happy that I don't have to look for another dental office. Dr. Drew makes me feel very comfortable during my procedure and I completely trust his treatment plans. Unlike other places where they made me done some works that it was completely unnecessary, I never had that experience in his office. I also had a one tooth that it was exceptionally small and crooked to the one side. It almost made me look like I didn't had a tooth and It really stressed me out every time I smile. Most dental office suggested me to get an Invisalign or Veneer and they are not very affordable for a recent college grad. During my first visit, I talked to Dr. Drew about it and he got a temporary bonding on that tooth where other dentist never done that for me! It cost me almost nothing compare to Veneer and even he called "Temporary", I had it for last 6 month and it still looks so great and natural! I had a preventative visit this morning and left there with another great experience. I went in thinking I was just getting a routine cleaning, but ended up needing a deeper cleaning, which added an extra $93 to the bill. I was also told I'd need to come back in six weeks for the routine cleaning, which would be covered by my insurance.
