Purposefully messed up the padding in my foot…read more I went for a foot massage and the masseuse was putting lotion on my feet and very softly was rubbing my feet, with 0 pressure. I asked her if it was possible to get firm pressure since my feet were sore from standing all day the day before. Well, after that, she took her fist and as if she was banging on a door, she banged on my foot. It was hard but felt good at the time. That was about 4 months ago and my foot has not stopped hurting since then. Every day it's caused me pain. A new pain I didn't have until I got the massage. I have to stand on the outter edges of my foot, not putting any pressure onto my heel. After some research, it appears that she might have flattened my heel padding. I think she got upset I didn't like her half-hearted massage, it almost seemed like she was thinking, "Oh yea? Too soft??? take this!!" I'll never go again. Wish I had gotten her name I would have gone back to confront her. As a "massage therapist" she should have known she was pounding my heel tissue cushion out of existence. I'm going to finally go to the doctor and finally get this addressed. I'm 100% it was from this. I thought she had bruised my heel, because that's what it feels like, but after waiting 4 months and it hurting like that every day, I know it's not.
