She always makes sure that you're comfortable - you're probably thinking how sticking needles in your body can be "comfortable" Jane tells you when she's sticking a potentially sensitive area ahead of time and explains the benefits. I brought my dad over to Dr. Pham after he complained of being unable to sleep at all despite…read moretaking painkillers due to his constant back pain. At the first visit, he was able to quickly identify and address the root cause of my dad's back pain with some spinal adjustments and massages within the first few minutes. Immediately afterwards my dad felt worlds better than he did a few days prior. Dr. Phan even helped to alleviate some of the symptoms exacerbating my dad's back pain to prevent his back pain from worsening or returning. Throughout this entire process, he provided an in-depth explanation of the cause and effects of the back pain alongside using comparisons to help my dad better understand what was going on. It was especially thoughtful of him to give my dad some stretches and strengthening exercises to do at home between visits to hasten his recovery. He even suggested a dietary change that did have a noticeable effect on his recovery period and level of activity. Surprisingly, on the second visit, an off-hand comment about my dad's leg length discrepancy of 1/2 cm that he's apparently had for half his life put Dr. Phan into gear. With another lightning fast diagnose and a few adjustments, he brought my dad's hip bones back into neutral alignment with his spine which also fixed his leg length discrepancy! We are very delighted that we found a good chiropractor this time. Dr. Phan explained the treatments clearly, and he is very experienced, friendly, professional, and cares about his patients. My hubby feels much better after each treatment, and the adjustments are effective for him. It's also very easy to make appointments with Dr. Phan; he is flexible. Avoid coming to this place…read more -To start with, they gave me an 8:30am appointment ask me to be there on time so we can settle with paperwork since I'm a new patient. I arrived at 8:15am since most clinics required us to arrive 15 minutes before the appointment. Waited till 8:30am no one there. Later to find out they open at 9:00am. If you open at 9:00am, why give 8:30am appointment and expect us to be there on time. -Before making the appointment I gave my insurance information for them to verify if they take my insurance or not. They called me back stating that my insurance ok and no copay nor doctor referral needed. That even shows on the reminder they send the day before the appointment. When I arrived at my appointment, they expect me to pay $80 stating they don't accept my insurance. Way to cheat on your patient... pathetic. So, if you don't mind wasting your time and being cheated, then go ahead if not, stay away from this place.

I came here because my mom has always recommended this place to me. I had been dealing with bad…read moreback pain and finally decided to give it a try. I asked for an acupuncture visit. About 10-15 minutes in I experienced the most horrific pain and panic of my life when I felt like my back had been lit on fire. I have had acupuncture/cupping done before and I know heat is involved but this felt completely different. I genuinely felt fire consume my lower back and let out a scream. He immediately began to pat my back and try to cool me down as I cried and cried. I apologized for screaming out of embarrassment and he said it was "just the heat" but it felt so much more different than what I've experienced before. He did different things to try and "cool me down" and then left me in the room for about 15 minutes. When he came back he removed the needles and once again rubbed things on my back. It also wasn't until later that I realized he never did any cupping on me. As he finished he said "next time just tell me you don't like heat" but this was so much more than just heat. I actually have a pretty high heat tolerance and knew this was just not normal. He then proceeded to charge me $60 and say I might need a second visit if the pain doesn't go away. As I left I began to cry again, I felt like my body was in a state of panic after feeling like I had been lit on fire alive. My family told me heat was normal during the appointment but I guess I didn't explain myself well to them because it was not until they saw my back that they understood what I went through. Everyone that has seen my back is left with their jaw dropped and telling me this is not normal. My family says they will never be going again and my mom is telling everyone she has ever recommended to not go. I understand this could have been an accident but the fact that he did not even own up to it and tried to pass this experience off as normal is what upsets me. Now I still have back pain and this insane burn on my back. If this wasn't an accident and is how this treatment goes, he needs to do a better job at explaining that and also warn clients about the gnarly scars it will leave.
