I usually never write reviews for businesses on Yelp. But this one is the exception. I have been going to this Chiropractor for over 10 years. My company's insurance will cover me for other chiropractors but I would rather pay out of pocket to come here than go to any other chiropractor. Efficiency I like that the wait times are very quick to get your adjustment and get on your way. It is like a Disney Fast Pass for getting your adjustment. No long wait times and your x-rays and your information is displayed on the screen for the doctor to review and take notes quickly and he does his adjustment safety and on the right areas for your exact needs. He has equipment and tools to deal with car accidents that work really well and well as some high tech monitoring equipment and the normal x-ray equipment and will explain in English what is happening on how to address it. I really like how the payment process more efficient (think of it like a Disney Annual Pass) that keeps the costs lower than having to deal with payments for every visit like other doctors. His prices are competitive to other Chiropractors by doing it this way and you get more for your money. What you will Learn Dr. Yachter is a great teacher in staying healthy and explains in easy to follow steps on how to do it. What you will learn is how to lose weight, how get sick less often, how to treat sickness when it does happen, how to reduce stress, how to reduce your exercise time and still get the benefits, how to feel better, how to increase your energy, and how to greatly prevent the more serious health issues, and some insider information on the medical field that could save your life and your family and friends or even someone that you know needs help immediately. Medical Costs If only all doctors were like Dr. Yachter because the cost of health care would be so affordable that the government would easily be able to cover everyone's medical costs. The way they set-up doing business quickly appears like a scam to get people to commit and pay for their services. You quickly learn this if you're on time or a little early for your appointments and they are finishing up consults. You sit in a room with Dr. Yachter while one of the front desk ladies stands outside the door listening to the conversation, walking in at the best opportune time to discuss finances and payment plans, because they collect funds upfront. The adjustment rooms are not confidential. The door is closed, but it's not an enclosed space. It almost made me chuckle as the weeks passed, because I knew what was going to be said by both Dr. Yachter and the front desk ladies before they even said it. Ingenuity is something I respect and appreciate when it comes to my healthcare. This office lacks that. During a regular 40 hour work week, Dr. Yachter is only open to see patients 15 hours! Yes, you read that right. 15 hours! I work 40+ hours a week and go to school part-time. When I started going to Dr. Yachter's office in the summer, it was easier, because I did not have school. Once I started back at school in August, I could only go in once a week. His office, his hours, I get it. But when you cannot make it in more frequently, the vibe from the office staff is that of judgement and attitude. If you have to cancel an appointment, whether by your doing or Dr. Yachter's, they try to bring you in another time (remember he sees patients only 15 hours a week), and you decline and tell them you'll have to wait until your next scheduled appointment, you get this patronizing attitude. Like they can't believe you don't care enough about your health to make the time. I even had one of the office ladies ask me, "you left work early once before, can't you do it again?" How about you're in healthcare to help people and make them feel better, why don't you open yourself up to be a little more accessible to your patients? 15 hours a week. I normally do not like speaking religion, because to each their own. Dr. Yachter is Christian and quotes the bible and makes references to God frequently. While I have no issue with this, others may. I took one of his classes one time. I was sitting next to a gentleman who took a deep sigh every single time Dr. Yachter quoted the bible. The gentleman's discomfort made me uncomfortable. When you own a medical office and are running a business, seeing and treating people from all different walks of life, I do not think it's appropriate to reference your religion so frequently. The last straw for me, after everything previously mentioned, was the last time I was in the office. I also found out that day, that even though I requested a 430p appointment time, it was scheduled for 445p without letting me know. I was waiting to be seen and I was told to go into an adjustment room. It was about 425p. The person assisting me to go ahead in because Dr. Yachter would see me early before his consult. This is how I discovered my appointment time was changed. I said, "isn't my appointment at 430? We are right on time." I was then told my appointment was 445p. I was filling out the questionnaire on the computer when Dr. Yachter came in, rudely telling me he doesn't need that and motioned me to get on the table. He then asks if I was coming in only one day a week. I answered, "yes, with work and school, and your office hours, Monday afternoons is the only time I can come." He snidely replies, "well, I will do my best to keep you in line." It wasn't so much what he said, as how he said it. And again, remember, they are only open 15 hours a week. Within 10 minutes of leaving the office, I called to terminate my remaining care and requested a refund. Which leads me to my last comment. If you decide to stop going to this office, for whatever reason, you will have to stay on top of them for your refund. They take your money real quick and upfront before services are provided, but do not initiate phone calls and drag their feet in getting their money back to you. I waited a week, after requesting my refund, before calling again, because the office never contacted me. At that end of that phone call, I was apologized to and told the office would keep in touch. 3+ plus weeks passed, without a phone call again, and I had to call them. From this office and my experience, sadly and honestly, I was not surprised. read more

I left there feeling as if it were a sales pitch instead of something to better my health. They gave you just enough information and then told you that you have to come back for a second appointment. My visit: Before making the appointment, I disclosed that they were not on my insurance and they encouraged me to come anyways. I felt that it was odd but I went anyways. When I walked in, they gave me a tour that felt very monotone and robotic. They sat me down to watch a presentation again. His evaluation was very interesting, but again, I felt a little strange and skeptical since there didn't seem to be an expected end to the visit. At the end of the scan and Xray, he advised me that my neck and back needed to be realigned. I learned in the meeting a possible solution to my neck pain. That is when he said that he wanted to go further into my Xray and evaluate it further. That the next visit would be 90 minutes long (included in the $40 cost- discounted from approx $250 they said) and that my spouse was required to come. In the conversation, it was stated that there would be a plan of care recommended and that they would be setting up a payment plan. I had already disclosed the fact that I had Cigna Local Plus and that they were not on the plan the day before my appointment. They continued to encourage the visit. I feel that this requirement of my spouse being required to come was less about informing him of my condition(which I can do myself) and more about making the person feel pressured and trapped into signing up for the services they offered, even though the insurance wouldn't cover it. I learned that I have neck pain (which I already knew) and it has encouraged me to seek a Chiropractor for my alignments. read more

I walked into Dr Yachter's office several months ago a complete wreck after experiencing several traumatic events. After a few months I started reaping the benefits of that decision. I have always said that not all chiropractors are created equal. I used the Dr. For the NUTRIMOST fat loss system. And as someone that has gained and lost over 80lbs more than 5 times in my life I can tell you this is the only time I was able to lose 50 of fat not water in 40 days all without exercise! I was looking for a new chiropractor and went into see Dr. Yachter He went over all my health information and history. He did a complete exam and went over and explained everything to me. I have been a patient for about 3 weeks and have no complaints. The entire staff is very nice and helpful. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I did not know how a chiropractic scan could detect problems even if you don't have any pain. My only problem with Elevation Health is that it is so far away from my home and they do not have office hours when I am off of work. However, they are opening another office, closer to home, later this month and, hopefully they will have Friday and/or Saturday hours so that we can take care of my issues before they become problems. read more
