Patty melt comes with fries and macaroni salad.
Erica B.

First time in Denver - getaway trip with my partner. He enjoys visiting local breweries so we headed to Fiction Brewing Company off Colfax. Apparently, the brewery host different food trucks on different days and Elevation 5280 was on the day we arrived. I asked the chef on board what he recommended from their menu and he stated the cubano or the patty melt - so I opted for the patty melt for us to split. No regrets! Probably one of the best patty melts I've had in a while. They add jalapeño which gave it a nice kick. Everything was made fresh to order, service was great and the food was seasoned just right! Definitely a recommendation!!

5280 was located outside Launch Pad Brewery, hubby and I tried two kinds of mini quesadillas - cheeseburger and buffalo chicken. Both were very good! I would eat here again.

Had the Mountain fries with pork, and they were very good. My husband is super picky about pork, and he loves these.

Pretty big pretzels and dipping sauces. $6

Don't listen to the other reviewer - over half of his reviews are 1 star. This is a great food truck. I had the brisket tacos ($10). 3 tacos to an order with a very generous amount of brisket, delicious salsa and sauce. I also split some pretzels ($6) and dipping sauces which were very good as well. Service was fast, especially for the amount of people ordering from them at the time. Very friendly folks too!

Drives through red lights. Obviously doesn't care about the safety of other people. Can't trust the food

Babas falafel is where it's at! As a food truck lover, I get super stoked when I come across one…read moreI've never heard of. So when I saw Baba's at the South Denver Beer Fest I knew I just had to try it. They had a limited menu going on but it works, I got the falafel cone and they asked if I wanted it regular or spicy and I went with spicy. It was up in a few minutes and while they were making it, I chatted with the guy and girl running the truck. We talked all things food and social media and they even have me some suggestions on where to find legit middle eastern food in the area (excluding their truck of course) , superfriendly folks. And the falafel cone? Omg, it was an instant mouthgasm in the form of a cone! The falafels had perfect consistency and flavor and the tahini was smooth and rich. They made it spicy and it had just enough spice to accent the flavors but not overtake it. I was a sad panda when I finished it. If you see them around, definitely check it out and get some balls in your mouth!!

Their falafel is excellent--very flavorful and delicious. And they have come up with some very inventive ways to use it. For example, they have created a falafeldilla and nachos, both using hummus & falafel. I got the "nachos," and the spicy sauce they use is soooo good. Plus, the people are nice & friendly, which is always important. I will definitely be paying them another visit in the near future. I can see me becoming a regular customer. If you'd like to know where to find them, check out their website for their schedule.
