My landlord just signed up with this company and everything from problems with communication with me as a tenant and their "creative accounting" as one other reviewer put it, has already tarnished any reputation they could build up with me. I will say that I put in a service order on their website and they had a handyman come out right away when I had a kitchen sink leak and he replaced the entire faucet, although he refused to replace the floorboard underneath the sink and clean up the mold which had accumulated under the sopping wet floorboard, claiming that there was no mold. (I find this statement fascinating, because he had no way to know if there was mold under the floorboard or not without looking for it, and obviously does not have the sensitive nose that I have as a woman.) I have refused to pay anything via their website, and insisted on mailing them a monthly check for rent and etc. If it's true that Kari pulled a gun on a tenant at one point, I would not doubt it at all. I have recently move to an apartment complex off of Constitution in Albuquerque, NM. Its only been about a week and half. Elevated Management has been transparent ever since I got here. Yes, moving is difficult and comes with its own challenges. Searching, signing the lease, and all the worries about the community and did I choose the right apartments. Its quiet, no smell of cigarette smoke, no bugs, neighbors are respectful. There won't be a perfect apartment complex. However, there are unfortunately some pretty bad ones in Albuquerque. The prices for apartments are Insanely high at the moment and this is due to A: Housing bubble that keeps getting bigger and B: A lot of demand & not enough space to go around. I moved at a time that Albuquerque experienced its hottest month of July on record. My place is warmer than my comfort level, but at least it cools off at night. My air comes from a swamp cooler ( surprisingly effective). Other than what is said above; The apartment is well managed. There's more pros and cons. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. The only thing this company has elevated is my cortisol and my heart rate. I scheduled an appointment to view a house, was told that the realtor Jacob Autry would get in touch with me, but he never did. When I called up to the office around our appointment time, they got him to reach out to me, and he said "I have another appointment, maybe we can reschedule." I told him I'd check my calendar. Realized I couldn't meet the next day due to work, so I tried calling him back. Several times. No response, he rejected my calls. Finally, he texted back and said "maybe we can reschedule for next week." On top of that, he was extremely rude and completely unapologetically, as if I was the one at fault. If this is how this business operates when they're showing properties, I can only imagine how they are when you're living there and need something done or fixed. My girl friend came home to a 7 day notice for fraudulent charges, my girlfriends management company hit her with a seven day eviction notice after several months of trying to resolve a situation where they said her check was flagged as fraudulent as to her management company Elevated management company. Several months ago Elevated management reached out to her saying her rent check was invalid/fraudulent. My girlfriend who happens to bank with Chase Bank, received and notice of a late fee dealing with this " fraudulent funds" from Elevated management group. Where the check was never properly processed by Elevated management group. Chase Bank has reached out to her exclaiming the check in question was in fact by legal tender backed by the bank and was not processed by Elevated in a time of manner. As out-of-town owners, we were a little anxious about the transition, but we met with Karie and were impressed with her knowledge and professionalism. The first night we were in, the temperature got up to 87. They made all the excuses in the world...it's a swamp cooler...leave windows cracked...there can't be any rain or humidity...and finally they said there will be a charge if we decide to have maintenance come over to inspect and they don't deem there to be anything wrong! We have 3 long haired dogs and about 4 fans set up at this point...still can't get the temperature to be in the 70s even! For the rent we pay, this is outrageous! Plus side: Since we're in a month-to-month lease (not by choice), we will be looking to move soon! 0 stars... UPDATE: we now have both toilets and bathtub/shower overflowing with feces...there is already water damage under the bathroom tiles so this issue has been around since before we moved in. Elevated Management Group. The only thing they will elevate is themselves. As a tenant I quickly learned several things from this group. They do not care about the properties they manage, they do not care about the tenants, and several times have attempted to bully us. You absolutely have to read every detail of their lease before signing it. You will be surprised and what you learn. They will attempt to tell you to do something even if it is not in the lease agreement. If you call them out on their blatant violation they will threaten you by saying they will actually follow the lease next time. They want you to do everything online. They do not answer phones and only respond through emails. You file a maintenance request online and they cancel them. You ask for the emergency maintenance number and they reply "it's in the lease". You try to be professional with them and they continue to be belligerent. The only thing they are good at is their self interest in doing as little as possible for the tenant and hiding it from the property owner as their lease specifically prohibits you from contacting the owner under threat of eviction. If you are looking for a property manager for your property you can do better. Unless you like short leases and vacant property. As a tenant you should absolutely avoid this group. They will make you want to terminate your lease early just to get away from the utter lack of professionalism and arrogant demeanor. When I arrived, to meet with management, my apartment was dirty and had roaches. I had someone come in my apartment and thought it was funny to steal a package if hamburger buns. ( My first reaction was if he was that hungry I could have gave him a dollar. The hamburger buns only cost a dollar at dollar tree) The police were there all the time and were loud. I put in a maintenance request to have my stove fixed. They did not fix my stove properly. I took pictures and sent them to my family. The wood was deteriorating in the bathroom and kitchen. They were non responsive to requests for service and after moving from a spotless move in ready apartment refused to return a deposit or give a detailed list of any charges even after numerous calls and emails. Terrible customer service, you have to call several times in a row to talk to someone. If you leave a message they will NEVER get back to you. I was also blamed for breaking the top of my toilet, maintenance was working on my drains and took the toilet apart. I got home and the lid was shattered with water leaking into all the rooms, mud tracked into the house from their boots and they even ruined my mop with the sewage water they were trying to clean up. I'm being charged 189$ for the replacement of the toilet.. Something I had nothing to do with, they said I was trying to fix it myself... We have never missed rent and are in good standing, but then we dared to put in maintenance requests. For example, we have EXPOSED WIRING in the kitchen next to the sink. There is definitely a screw loose...but don't bother with a maintenance request. I love Looney Toons but my property manager is not that entertaining. Maybe "Elevated" just means "High"? I suggest the much more accurate business name: "Who's on First? Management Group" Karie is not managing properties but she does manage to write fiction. This has been the most unprofessional property management company I have ever dealt with and the word "bizarre" keeps coming to mind when recounting our communications and my requests. Maintenance requests get modified at their discretion on the web portal when they don't respond after about a week to 10 day to say "waiting on tenant". I think it should say "waiting on tenant to die before we come do the repair" because they are not going to show up. Well, they did show up one time to finally repair the shower in the second bathroom, after asserting that they already came to repair it but didn't have the parts so it didn't get repaired. They must have sent ghosts because my cameras don't show anyone actually coming into my condo. I was fortunate enough to meet the actual owners of the property due to them storing some things at the condo I rent and they are wonderful people. Thankfully they are more than helpful or I would have to terminate my lease. Karie does not answer communications timely, doesn't answer them at all many times, answers them incompletely or in some bizarre way that has nothing to do with the issue. Then she tries to assert that I am not communicating back and not allowing maintenance people into the condo to make repairs. I can't imagine why a property manager would act so grossly negligent and purposefully fail at their job. I don't know why I see good reviews about this elevated management company, must be all related or something, because I had the worst experience with them. I rented one of their apartments located at Vassar Dr. NE back in Sept of 2017, I was transferring with my company from Austin and needed a temp place to stay with my family while I purchased my house. When I arrive at the place it stank like cat urine, even Lincoln, the person opening up the place for me apologized for the smell, said they had tried very hard to get it out, but just couldn't. The place was very dirty, there was cat hair all over the place, from the beds to the frig and stove and very dusty, my family and I had to go out and buy cleaning supplies and it took us about 4 hours to get the place cleaned. I complained to Karie, the person in charge and they sent me a $10 gift card and apologized for the way the place was given to me. I arrived around Sept 23 and only needed the place for a month, they would not prorate the rent for October, they had me pay the entire month, but were able to prorate the month of Sept, said they would give me the remaining balance when I moved out. When I moved out, I did not get all rent money back and they still charged me a cleaning fee, after the place was a mess when we arrived and we left the place spotless, according to Brooke, who did the final walk-through and told us there would be no charges. On top of that, Karie had the audacity to send me a text accusing me of stealing the queen size mattress and box spring from the apartment and switching it out with, according to her own words something "Picked off the side of the road" who accuses someone of doing something like that! I tried many times calling her to clear up the issue and no answer, tried several times texting her to please call me as I really needed to clear up this matter as I am not a thief, but she never replied or called me back. First of all, I would never steal something like that, I have king size beds and second, when I moved out, I went straight to an extended stay for another 2 weeks as I was waiting on the closing of my house and all my stuff was stored in a Pod, but I never was able to talk to her about it as she never got back to me. I had to even call her from a different number so I could speak to her, but she hung up on me and would not discuss the issue with me. Overall, Karie and the Elevated management group gave me very bad, unprofessional and unethical service, if you want to take your chances with them, make sure to take pictures of everything, including the mattresses and box springs, not that it's really going to help, it didn't with me, still had to pay. read more
