Love love love!!!!!! My cousin and I were in San Diego for the week and decided we wanted to sign up for some classes. We initially thought it was Pilates but it's actually a different method called Lagree. Nonetheless we were so excited. We purchased the 2 weeks unlimited for $69 and signed up for 5 classes. We ended up canceling the 3rd class because we were so sore after the first two but made it back for the last 2 classes so we took 4 total in one week. Let me tell you these classes were a WORKOUT. Keep in mind we are new to this new type of workout so we are still learning but we enjoyed every moment of it. We had 4 different instructors across the 4 days and each one had their own style of teaching/routine for the group. It was a really fantastic experience and we wish we were in San Diego for two weeks to take advantage of it but were only able to do one week since we flew back home today (price still totally worth it in my opinion if you do at least 4 classes overall). I'd recommend this to anybody. Instructors were so nice, they helped us out a lot because they knew we were new and were all so encouraging and sweet. The next time I am back in San Diego I will be back here no doubt!!!! Wish they had locations where I live I would be a regular customer!! Thanks so much for a great week of classes, it was definitely needed and has inspired me to continue and find my own studio near me!

Best Largee in town! Elevate training leaves you feeling stronger than ever. Friendly instructors and challenging classes.

A challenging workout routine with some beautiful views!

I would give this studio 10 stars if I could. I have been a member of Elevate for more than 3 years and I am addicted to this workout. What especially compelled me to finally write a review for the best Pilates studio I know is that the company response to the COVID19 pandemic has been phenomenal. The company knows how to balance following health regulations with keeping customers happy (and healthy). I think it is mainly because the company truly listens and responds to what the customers want. When California closed back down, the company was smart enough to strike a deal with InterContinental Hotel so that workouts could be outside with an amazing view of San Diego's waterfront. I could go on and on about their motivating instructors, fun and loud music (missing those dance/DJ events haha), and challenging workouts that will transform your body! . . . But I don't want to be late for class. . .

I absolutely love Lagree and even more so love this studio. It's such a great location and they've done a great job with the interior. It is modern, clean and gorgeous. All the instructors are super helpful and friendly. The one that stands out to me the most is Salina - she is always smiling and has a great routine each and every class. She is so passionate about Elevate and it shows. You cannot go wrong with this workout and this studio! It will change your body and your mind !

Ask the Community - Elevate Training - Downtown

Hello! I know it says garage parking, however I know parking in downtown can be very expensive... is it a private garage parking or how much on average is the parking if I can't find street parking?

Hello! I heard great things about the Lagree method and I would like to try a class, how much?

hi! We offer a single class for $25 or your first two weeks for $59 :)

How much is a private session?

We offer the first private session for $49!

Is this good for all fitness levels?

Hi Bella! Yes, the Lagree Method is a very modifiable workout for all fitness levels :) However, the full body classes are pretty fast-paced, so it takes several times to learn! I recommend starting with a foundations class or even a private session… Read more

Hi everyone, I currently attend Bodyrok Encinitas, however I'm moving to Coronado soon. Bodyrok is my favorite studio so far when it comes to the Lagree method. I'm wondering how elevate Downtown compares and what kind of reformers are used?

Hi Claudia! Congrats on the move- Coronado is so beautiful!! Bodyrok studios have their own machines/class structures that are not considered the Lagree Method. Elevate Training Downtown is a licensed Lagree Method studio (40 minutes, high… Read more

First off, there's 3 locations I have picked hillcrest because I love the shopping center which is next to my favorite places (Miniso and Trader Joe's and Handels ice cream). Parking lot is big! I usually come early so no issues there but maybe if you come at a busy time such as after 3pm might be busier. I did the intro 4 classss for new clients for about $90 I think. Classes are 45 mins and start exactly at the time. And the classes are sooo good! Each time I've had different instructors and every instructor I've had have been amazing. It's awesome because every class is different and you can always modify the moves to your own fitness level. I am postpartum so this is actually the first time I started working out after having my baby and it makes me feel so good. I have to thank my man for paying for my classes. They are a little bit expensive. But for me, this is worth it. It's my me time now and a fit mom is just an overall better mom lol. I feel like the amount of time the workout class is, is perfect it really makes me push myself. It's very clean in here and I love the aesthetic. It's so good. The reformers are also really nice and I definitely feel so toned after each workout even days later. I definitely want to try a new location just to see how the vibes are but this location is the one I found with the best ratings, if not just the class but the actual friendliness and helpfulness of the instructors which is why I came here. Even tho it's slightly more expensive. I miss being away and cannot wait to come back! Love this and can't believe I didn't try this sooner!

Just wrapped up my second visit to SALTVAULT Hot Pilates and I'm officially hooked! This place has…read moresuch an amazing vibe--the infrared heat, the pumping music, and the overall energy make every class feel like a fun escape rather than a workout grind. As a total Pilates newbie, I started with the Savor class (the heated one with those HIIT-style intervals) and loved how it pushed me while still focusing on controlled movements and core strength. The heat (around 85-105°F) gets you sweating in the best way possible--it really helps you flow and deepen into the poses. Today I tried Zest, their non-heated option, and it was just as challenging and enjoyable but in a different way--still super effective without the extra sweat factor. The instructors are great at guiding beginners like me, the classes are musically driven which keeps everything moving seamlessly, and the whole studio just feels welcoming and motivating. Never thought I'd be this into Pilates, but SALTVAULT has me excited to keep coming back and trying more formats. Highly recommend--whether you're new or seasoned, this spot delivers! Can't wait for my next class

I bought a membership here under the impression that I would get a good workout which I do get, however I've gone like three times a week to four times a week and I've noticed all the workouts are literally exactly the same blueprints which kind of annoys me so if it's different Instructor, obviously they're trained by the same person so it's like squat squats plank, you know, bouncing climbers then back it's literally the actual same regime with a different Instructor every other day. I just wish you know you use a block or a band or heavier, weights, or just change it up because why am I gonna do the same workout four times a week with a different Instructor but the same workout it makes no sense. I kind of want to revoke my membership. That's constructive criticism. I want to be challenged so challenge me don't give me the same regime under a different Instructor. It makes no sense. I understand you're trained by the same person maybe however, change it up I mean I'm not sore and it's not challenging my muscles in a different way if it's the constant same thing I hope they take this criticism on board so they can change it because I need to change it. I'm gonna have to cancel my membership.

Booking through…read morethe website was easy, though the class was a bit on the pricier side, I paid $35, whereas I typically pay around $20-$28 per class in LA and San Diego. When I arrived, there wasn't much of a greeting or clear check-in process. The instructor seemed busy, so I ended up putting my things away before even checking in, which felt a little awkward. The studio has a wide variety of equipment, which is great, but there was a lot going on visually. Equipment and bins were spread throughout the space, making it slightly difficult to move between machines. I appreciate the variety, but better organization would really improve the flow of the room. The class itself was unique, with a mix of ages and genders, which I liked. The instructor was kind, asked about experience levels, and offered helpful modifications to either intensify or simplify movements. That said, there were moments where direction wasn't super clear, and some people (myself included) got a bit lost. The pillars in the middle of the room also made it hard at times to see demonstrations. Cleanliness was okay... the equipment didn't look dirty, but it didn't feel particularly clean either. For example, around the weight-changing areas, there was visible dust, hair, and debris. The area for shoes and bags also had a slight odor. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. The instructor and workout itself were good, but the small details (organization, cleanliness, and overall flow) made a difference. I'd probably try other studios before returning, but I wouldn't completely rule it out.

I started with Pilates of Eastlake about a little over a year ago. I started because of the benefits that I've read to Pilates (strengthening core, correcting posture, helping with back/tight hips). Prior to starting Pilates, I've felt intimidated -- a huge machine you workout on?! Weird. I got over my fear and one day joined-I tried the intro classes first, and from there moved to the member ship of 2x/ week. I have noticed a huge improvement in my core and back. My hips aren't as tight from sitting down in a desk all day. I love, love the barre classes that Renn teaches! You feel it in your glutes! I also enjoy Linda's classes as well! Toni is another great teacher. And Alissa, is amazing and super sweet! Overall, my experience with this studio has been nothing but amazing. Everyone has been helpful and has their own style. I always leave feeling good about my movement. I love taking Pilates classes in addition to my strength training, the small, controlled movements help with muscles I didn't know existed. Try it. Run.
