I am currently in my second week of training with Katrina and absolutely LOVE it. I cannot say enough positive things about this gym from the atmosphere to the actual workouts. I feel as though there is such an awesome/motivating vibe that this gym and the trainers put out. I am very new to working out and was extremely nervous when signing up to train here but it was the best decision I could have made. Kat is so helpful and encouraging in her training sessions and will modify workouts to meet each individual's capabilities. Through that I can tell she truly cares about her clients. I started at Elev8 Performance two months ago, they popped up on my IG feed and it looked like a cool place so I signed up for an intro class. As an avid gym "goer" I wanted someone to push me farther than I would push myself, and also add a structured meal plan to my training. Well let me tell you, this place does not disappoint! Everybody at Elev8, trainers and clients, is there to work hard. The people coupled with the a bass-pounding sound system make it is easy to train and be inspired. I have been training with Katrina on Tuesday's and Thursday's and she consistently kicks my ass; that coupled with my customized meal plan are already producing results. She is super hands on, always checking my progress (which I need) and very supportive. By far the best gym I've been to never to crowded, working out with people who have the same goals in life or life styles as you. I currently train with Ryan I'm on my second month and my results are great he really let's you know that your health and physique is on the top of his list and always contacts you to see your feeling. He provides you with a well rounded meal plan or weekly meal preps that are tailored to your goal and day. He is also really flexible with his time you can come as early as 5am. The staff is really friendly always greeting and acknowledging you weather your one of there clients or not. This gym has all the equipment you need to achieve any goals you'd like to reach. All the equipment is also in good shape and it's a clean gym. I would recommend this gym and Ryan to everyone who really is serious about living a better life style. read more

If you are looking for a gym with a motivating atmosphere, Elev8 Performance is the place to go. Pham and Katrina are kind, friendly, knowledgable, and truly care about all of their members and personal training clients. The peak hours of most gyms are when they are he most annoying and busy, but the peak hours at Elev8 are when you want to go. Music is playing and everyone is working together - training hard and pushing each other to kill their session. This gym is clean, open, and had everything you need to get in a great workout. I personally was scared to join because I am NOT athletic in any way shape or form but Kat makes my work outs fun and pushes me just enough to where I don't get discouraged . For Christmas this year I asked my husband to get me a personal trainer because I lost my motivation and drive to work out. I have always been in good shape and loved working out but around the age of 32 my motivation was dropping and dropping fast and its true your body changes when you hit 30, weight doesn't come off as easy as it use too and comes on alot quicker. I am now 35 and I had a trip to Hawaii planned in February for my friends wedding so that is why I decided I needed a trainer to get back in shape! When my husband agreed to the trainer as a Christmas gift I started doing some research on personal trainers and gyms. I sent emails out to a few different places and even met with one other trainer before I found Elev8. I wanted to find the right gym and trainer for me so was trying to do as much research as I could. Some gyms never got back to me and the other trainer I met with I knew instantly I needed to keep looking and that's when I found Kat on IG. I sent a email to Elev8 and shortly after I received a email from Kat and we scheduled a time to talk later that day. Kat's promptness and our conversation really made me feel good about making the next step to go check out the gym. After I meet Kat and Pham and checked out the gym I decided to sign up and train. I started working out at Elev8 the second week in January and from the moment I felt like apart of the Elev8 family and looked forward to our training sessions! Within the 6 weeks of training and the meal planning Kat put me on I dropped 11 lbs and toned up, exactly what I wanted to accomplish before my trip to Hawaii. I was tired of my own gym routine and needed a push. Between seeing Elev8 on social media and then contacting the owners I knew right away this was a top gym. I've been working out at elev8 for about 2.5 months now. Shortly after talking to Pham about my crazy work schedule, he set me up with my trainer David. I could not be more pleased with joining the gym. David and the rest of the people at that gym (trainers and clients) are down to earth and easy to talk to. David tailors my workout for what I do for work. I've been a small guy all my life and within two months I've already see changes I haven't been able to reach. This quickly becomes one of the most professional gyms here in Socal. All of the staffs and trainers here are super friendly and also determined to their work. The set up is outstanding for a compact gym but you will get any exercise that you need. Ive been a client here since this gym has opened and have made good changes to my eating and body. If it were possible to give no stars, I would. I signed up for 1 on 1 training with the owner and made it clear that I wanted to train 2 times a week minimum. I went in for my first session at 7pm and stated that it was the time that was usually best for me. She did not mention that it was a problem for her. I should have known that I was not a priority for her when my meal plan was given to me late and it was very clear that it was just a plan that had been made for someone else initially. During my sessions she would walk away and take video on her phone of OTHER members working with OTHER trainers. She would also start late with me because she would be busy talking to other people. If someone walked into the gym during my session, she would walk away from me to go talk to them. After 2 weeks of this, all of a sudden, training me became basically an inconvenience for her. She was unavailable at 7pm all of a sudden because she had to "go back" to train me, and couldn't train me at any time at all on most other days. When I explained that I was unhappy with training only once a week, she made it seem like she was doing me a FAVOR by training me, when in fact I had paid a GOOD DEAL of money. Then she tried to pass me on to another trainer who I hadn't even met. We came to the conclusion that I would be refunded for the remaining sessions as it was not something that was working for us. I got some of the money back, but I definitely did not receive the full refund for my remaining sessions. I am only writing this review in hopes of either an awakening on the owners part, or to help others who are easily discouraged in their fitness journey from training with someone who will make them feel like they are not a valued client. read more

I have yet to receive the shirts i ordered, and have not heard a word from this company since.
