Dr Geamanu is great. She has helped me navigate some nasty symptoms of Graves' disease and I'm thoroughly grateful.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Kim. Her behavior towards me was completely lacking in empathy and kindness. She did not listen to me, and interrupted/cut me off/talked over me every time I tried to say something, even after I asked her not to. She made very unkind and judgmental comments, such as "And why do you think that's working?" She refused to help when I asked for it. When the appointment was over, she rudely said "OK then let's go" as I was trying to collect myself and my belongings. Zero stars -- do not recommend. Other doctors here may be kind and empathic, but Dr. Kim is not.

My lady had an appointment to see him early. Let me say that i really do not like doctors and rarely visit one myself. I have to be almost dead to go. Lol It was my first time meeting Dr. Joo. I found him to be a extremely likable, with a wonderful and pleasant chairside manner. He took the time to talk to her and not about her, as if she were not there. He took care of her problem and gave her a lot of great information to better take care of her health. She left with a smile on her face and hope for improved health. I was impressed with him and will be taking her to see him again in the coming months. Thank you, Dr. Joo, for making our visit a nice one.

I was calling on behalf of my mom who is a patient there to ask some follow up questions about her test results and have yet to receive a call back so we are in a state where we do not know what next steps are. Maybe she picks and chooses who gets a call back - this is absolutely ridiculous.

I didn't like the conversation that we had--it felt like he paid little attention to my personal history, and had a "once-size-fits-all" treatment agenda. Adding to the crummy ambiance, the place is a dirty mess, including the waiting room and the examination room. In addition, the young woman who did my blood draw was outrageously rude. I'm a friendly and reasonably patient person, but she angered me so completely that I walked over to the receptionist (the only nice person there, I have no idea how she manages it), and told her I needed to go elsewhere to have my blood drawn. She sent me upstairs, to a refreshingly clean office, and a sane and friendly woman. DON'T GO HERE. Maybe try the Polyclinic instead.

During my first visit, she sat down and tried to explain how the thyroid works and etc. However, upon my following visits, she appeared rushed and didn't bother to spend the time with me. In fact, I felt rushed and didn't have the opportunity to ask her the questions that I wanted to ask. On other follow up visits, she would just give me lab results without bothering to check anything else. She basically read verbatim the lab results. These visits were probably less than 7 minutes, in terms of check up time. I was frustrated because she could have just called or emailed me the results but instead asked me to come in so that I would be billed the hundreds of dollars for seeing her for less than 7 minutes. Also, it seemed inefficient and a waste of time. I also asked her to write me a doctor's note to explain to my employers about my condition. Her letter was super ambiguous and basically said nothing. I understand that there is patient confidentiality to adhere to but it basically didn't tell my employers anything about my condition and said that I "may" be experiencing some symptoms. She obviously is treating my condition, why would she say "may"? The letter consisted about three sentences. I was charged about $10 for this "letter." I thought the entire situation was ridiculous since she seemed to try to gauge me on all these unnecessary expenses. She was not the right fit for me. I changed doctors after my fourth or fifth visit. My new doctor emails me my lab results and spends time to answer my questions even though I know she is also busy. There have been times where my new doctor has literally said, "oh you don't need to come in for that, I'll just email you that information." My new doctor also doesn't charge me $10 for doctor's letters. I really appreciate it when doctors seem to consider the patent's best interest at hand. This was just my experience so I don't know how representative my assessment is.

He said yes it was the only way ,after consulting other drs I learned that this was 100% untrue. There were countless other ways he could have confirmed my condition. He was also apparently unaware that the extremely time sensitive medication he prescribed to me , was illegal to carry at ANY pharmacy within 100 miles of me (I was informed by a pharmacist at the 4th pharmacy I went to in attempts to obtain said medication) wasting several hours of my time and worsening the severity of my condition. Overall extremely creepy and utterly traumatic situation. This man should have his license revoked

I'm a cancer survivor, among other stuff. Nothing about my care is easy, straightforward. Some of my troubles have taken years to bring under control. Dr Hodne is the best partner, life coach, and caregiver anyone can ask for. She and her team have gone above and beyond for me, time and again. Two strategies are proven to improve patient outcomes. Constructive long-term relationships, obviously. Emphasizing wellness over treating disease. Knowing this, I enthusiastically supported Greenlake's switch to a concierge model. The concierge model is a rejection of our nation's immoral, inefficient, profiteering fee-for-service model. It's a return to our Rockwell-esque notions of the family doctor. It allows doctors to spend as much time as needed with a patient, to do research, to coordinate all the referrals, to do battle with insurers, etc. No one is getting rich in family practice. Or running an independent clinic. Do the math, read the news. The providers at Greenlake Primary Care are making huge sacrifices. Just to keep the lights on. Just to deliver actual healthcare. Yes, concierge requires memberships to make it work. Until our nation adopts Medicare For All, it's the best available option. Dr. Cole always listens to me, provides scientific reasons for what I am experiencing, and works to provide a natural way to heal my body. She provides a wonderful mix of compassion, hard science (labs, results, etc.), and alternative healing methods/medicines.
