I just recently got a massage at elements for the first time. I was super happy because they had availability to squeeze me in last minute. Right out of the gate there was no time wasted which I really appreciated. My massage therapist, Paul, took me straight back to the room and asked me what I wanted him to focus on and the type of massage that I wanted and that was it. Paul did a great job at focusing on all the areas that I told him and his pressure was exactly what I wanted. It was very relaxing and he definitely worked on getting my knots out. I felt so much better when my 60 minutes was up. All in all it was exactly what I needed. I will say there's nothing fancy about elements. The front lobby and massage rooms are pretty plain but are equipped with everything they need. If you're looking for a more luxurious experience, then you may want to look elsewhere. As for the quality of the massage, I was very happy with it so if you're just looking for a good massage, that's reasonably priced then I would suggest elements. I would also recommend Paul as your massage therapist as I thought he was great, listened well, and did a good job! read more

I've always been the massager, never got one for myself. I decided it was time to treat myself and boy was it a treat! The staff is very professional and Paul did an amazing job helping to find sore spots I didn't even know I had! I felt blood circulating as never before! I was so warm and relaxed and felt cared for, I didn't want to leave lol. I've signed up for the membership and will be going back hopefully forever! ****Do not give this business your money. **** My husband and I gave them way too many chances because of the convenience to our home, but we regretted it every time. 1) I can confirm that the "wellness program" policies are not communicated well and it is indeed incredibly hard to cancel. 2) You can call and book an appointment at a specific time that works for you, but they have a general practice of shifting that time around 15-30 mins without notifying you and just leaving it up to the "reminder" call or text. However, if you are anything like me and you put the appt time in your digital calendar and you don't pay attention to the reminder because you already know what time your appointment is, then you will frequently show up "late" and your only options are to pay the $35 cancellation fee and reschedule or accept your shorter massage time. This happened to me 3 times. 3) This final time I went in, I was 15 mins "late" again, and made to feel bad again. Then when I went to pay they said I had a credit on our account. I also had a gift card, and a $50 bill for the remainder. Only after the transaction I was told that I still had a credit on my account. I said, wait, I just want to use the full account balance and then get my change from the $50. I was told they can't do that because "their system doesn't work that way". This business may have some talented massage therapists, but their business practices are questionable at best. read more

The more I see from and think about this place, the more impressed I am. In each room, therapist can adjust temperature, bed temperature, music volume, and light level. The massage tables are hydraulic, so the therapists can adjust bed height during treatment to help them apply the right amount of pressure without injuring themselves. Must have been expensive to buy that many hydraulic beds, but I think it shows they care about their therapists' wellbeing. (Being a massage therapist can be really rough on your body if you don't have a good ergonomic setup.) They email out a list of openings for the week and spell out what types of massage each therapist specializes in and what level of pressure they can apply (with relatively objective descriptions). Never seen any other company give such great guidance in choosing a therapist! I haven't compared their monthly massage club pricing to others, but at first glance it seems similar. They do seem to send a lot of emails (after my first appointment, I got three right away "thanks for joining our mailing list," "your registered interests," "please give feedback," and then a few days later "this week's openings"). Seems like they are dedicated to ensuring clients are happy (and to keeping the business busy and open). The weekly openings email may get expensive for me... read more

I want to start off by saying I don't get massages regularly. This was my first time at Elements. Everyone was nice and the setting was relaxing. My therapist asked if there were certain spots I wanted worked on and gave me recommendations to help myself and my back pains after my massage. Overall, it was a fine massage. However, my therapist placed a heating pad to work on my lower back issues under my back while they worked on other areas. Yes, it was hot, yes, I could have said something, but I figured the therapist knew what they were doing. When I got home, my back and rear were red and blotchy. I drank a lot of water, per their recommendations, and figured the redness would be gone by the time I woke up. I woke up the next morning with less redness, BUT, I did develop a few blisters. I called and let them know what happened so they were aware, and they offered me a free upgrade for my next massage, which was nice, but I honestly don't plan on going back. read more

I cancelled my subscription to the wellness program and was still charged 3 times. I did everything I was supposed to and was told I suspended the account instead of cancelling it. That's not true. I was told I would receive a credit for one of the charges and the subscription cancelled. That didn't happen either until I went to my bank and cancelled my debit card and disputed the charges. I was finally issued a credit for 2 of the erroneous charges. But the next month they tried to deduct another charge, so the subscription was never cancelled. I no longer live in Ohio, and the closest Elements is more than 2 hours away, which is why I cancelled instead of suspended. read more

I have had many massages in the past. Decided to try the Hilliard location. Very professional and clean. I could tell Lisa was a great therapist during the massage but you never really know how you are going to feel until afterwards. It has been a few weeks and I feel great. Such a great experience! Jeanette gave a perfect massage that was both relaxing and really got into the tissue. Very thorough and careful. She listened very carefully to what I needed and then ACTUALLY DID IT. That might not sound very impressive but for some reason every time I've asked a massage therapist to basically avoid my lower back they must think I'm kidding. Jeanette however took me at my word and was quite responsive to subtle things, an eyebrow twitch and she adjusting before I said a word. I left feeling like I had a seaside vacation. All that for practically nothing. I didn't feel rushed, reception was extremely pleasant and personable, and they don't do hair and other stuff so there were no intense smells. The lotion used was unscented and quickly absorbed by my skin. Is this place going to win awards for decor and high end product lines? No. But it DOES have people who know what they are doing and seem to enjoy it and best of all, are REALLY good at it. Fantastic. read more

I've gotten four massages here over the years and the last two were sub par. my most recent the therapist was strong (which I love) but she dug straight in which made me reflex and my muscles didn't appreciate the heavy pressure right out of the gate. won't be back and do not recommend. read more

I had my very first massage last week with Marsha. She did a great job meeting my needs and making sure that I was comfortable. I had pain in my back and thought that I needed a deep tissue. Marsha did more of a relaxation, but to my surprise, it was exactly what I needed. This was my first time getting a massage. It wasnt very relaxing. It hurt when she did my shoulders and neck but I thought it was suppossed to hurt some. I know a lot of people are sore when they get a massage. It had been all day and my shoulders and upper back still hurt. I had my fiance look at my back and he counted 8 bruises. I went here for the first time today, This was the best massage I have ever had!! I have been to many other massage therapists and none of them met my expectations. Eliane was my massage therapist today, she was AMAZING! She applied the right amount of pressure and she spent the time to work the stubborn knots out of my neck instead of giving up and moving on. Most importantly I cannot relax if someone is carrying on a conversation with me. Every other massage therapist that I have had would start talking and carry on through the whole massage it drove me crazy! Elaine was silent through the whole thing (aside from asking me if the pressure was okay) I have never felt more relaxed!! If you get a massage here ask for Elaine!! read more
