0 stars if I could. I had multiple issues with being rescheduled after having my appointments in the systems two months in advance. And the rescheduling would occur within 24hrs of the appointments. After this happening for about 3-4 months in a row, I told them I needed to pause my account as I didn't think the hassle was worth it. Once my three month pause was coming to an end I reached out to inform them that I wanted my subscription canceled only to find out I've been charged for the last 7 months because I didn't fill out a form. They also will not do refunds of any kind even though the poor girl behind the counter confirmed that my email requesting the cancelation was still stored in their systems. So...If you buy a "membership" you are pretty much signing on for life. You are entitled to one massage a month BUT you can't schedule fewer than 6 weeks out. You will wind up with massages that you paid for but can't use. The price keeps going up. They cancel on a whim. You however, can not. Most of the therapists are "experts" meaning, when you show up, you will have to pay 20 dollars more (surprise!). When you try to cancel, you will get a super snippy run around. If you can pry a cancellation form out of their hands, you will have to bring it to them, in person. All in all, an expensive rip off. Don't do it. DO. NOT. DO. IT. read more

This place was average. My massage therapist was very nice-- but she talked to me the entire massage which made it very hard to relax. Additionally, I paid $119 for a 60 min massage but she started 6 minutes late and ended 5 minutes early. So that was a huge bummer. read more

OK, they make this really confusing so let me break it down for you: This is a massage subscription service and you cannot go without giving them the right to automatically charge your credit card every month. They increase the monthly charge over time, it starts at $60 but goes up to $80. It costs $30 to cancel, and if you cancel you lose your credits (which you inevitably build up unless you go every single month) To cancel or pause your membership you have to show up in person (not over the phone or online) and to your home studio. So you cannot leave town for more than a month without telling your massage studio, in person. I had to kiss $240 goodbye in monthly charges because I moved out of town without realizing this. They actually made me get on a plane during covid to cancel my massage membership. Its sad the types of schemes that are allowed now, and I really miss my masseuse who used to work there and was wonderful. He quit and they pretended he didn't quit so I would try a new therapist instead of just cancelling, they kept saying he was "out sick" which wasn't even true, he left the studio because of their predatory policies. read more

Unfortunately this location has experienced a tremendous amount of turnover and has lost their best staff. This leads to below average experiences and doesn't justify the cost. It also makes it harder to schedule when short staffed. I had a one hour massage. The masseuse was a young guy, kinda grungy looking. It was the worst massage I've ever had. His experience was so low that he was completely unaware of where to massage, and even when I asked for more pressure he couldn't do it. He had no idea how to leverage his body or mine in order to get consistent pressure and actually rub muscles appropriately. Not worth any price. It was not even relaxing. They of course try to get you to join a membership which is just obnoxious. I get a massage monthly and know a good masseuse and this guy needs to go to massage school. Bummer! read more

I attempted to cancel a membership that I WAS PRESSURED TO EVEN JOIN. I did everything correctly by submitting and signing the cancellation form. I have been charged repeatedly since I received verbal telephone AND email confirmation from this salon that my account was cancelled. I have only received ONE massage, but I have paid for many more than that. Do you think the salon caught this overcharging problem after verifying with me on the phone and by email that my account was cancelled when I told them I was unemployed? NOT AT ALL. Laina takes very good care of me. She is very intuitive and pays close attention to my needs. She asks all the right questions and makes me feel very comfortable and safe. If you have physical ailments and need to be cared for and listened to, laina is amazing. Also the front desk staff have been very good to me as well. I had a gift card that I forgot to hand to them before I left, and I figured they would just charge my card, but they did not. Just had an amazing massage here! Upon arrival, the lobby was nice and cozy and I was warmly greeted. Their forms were easy and quick, didn't ask me everything like some places do. Only the relevant information. I had a regular 1-hour massage with Ginny. I think she usually works at the LoDo location but was at this location instead. They started right on time. The bed was heated. The music and atmosphere were nice. The full hour went by so quickly, but she was very responsive to what I asked for and worked extra the areas I asked her to (mainly for me my neck and jaw). I have never felt so much relief in my jaw before! They have envelopes for tips but you can definitely add it to the card as well. They don't seem picky. I booked online the night before and received a call early the next morning to confirm and ensure that the therapist I had randomly picked online would be a good fit for what I was looking for. First time massage is $69 from there you can either pay $69/month for one massage a month (they roll over if you don't use them) or $99 if you want to just show up. They do work hard to sell you this "membership" but weren't obnoxious when I said no. Listen, is this place a 5-star so resort? No. But is it a great place to get a casual massage? I am 38 weeks pregnant and tried to cancel my appointment doctor advised. Because I called to cancel at 23.5 hours prior to my appointment, not 24 hours in advance they are still charging me. I find this to be simply bad business. In addition to that the facilities are pretty disappointing. There is carpet in the massage rooms which are seriously stained with years of oil spillage. Just sort of grossed me out to be honest. Paint on the walls was chipped and old and overall ambiance was completely lacking. The massage therapist with okay. Massage with Jennifer was sooo relaxing. They do a quick consultation with you prior and she was sure to focus on exactly what I mentioned to her. The only thing is that the walls are a little thin, so you can possibly hear guests in other rooms talking. It's not loud or by any means a nuisance. I was able to zone it out with the music playing in my room and how relaxed I was, but worth noting if this would be a problem for you. I came to leave a RAVE review for Carlos at the Cherry Creek West location. I am a member in Charleston SC, and wanted to gift a massage to my friend who is going through a difficult time. As a national franchise, service at different locations can vary greatly, and I had a super frustrating experience calling my home location and other Denver-area locations trying to solve what seemed to be a simple problem. As soon as I got on the phone with Carlos, all my frustrations and worries were assuaged. I was beyond impressed by Carlos' efficiency, professionalism and the care he took to make sure everything was done properly. He went above and beyond, taking the onus off of me by making calls to other locations to ensure everything was handled, never making me feel like a pain and always updating me as he went. I've recently signed up for a membership here after having a much better first experience than I anticipated! As other Yelpers have mentioned there is a wide range of skills among the masseurs which is great. When I called to schedule my appointment they asked me about what type of massage I was looking for and then recommended that I book with that person. I like deep tissue and generally I find that nobody really goes deep enough... it ends up being more of a Swedish massage. Not at Elements. I definitely got worked and in a good way. The membership is a good deal and I can't wait to go back! There is a small parking lot but I've never seen it completely full. There is also street parking on Lafayette (just watch out for street cleaning days). This is strictly a massage place so there are no other "spa" treatments, but there are nail salons etc nearby. I kind of like that they specialize just in massage and clearly it's reflected in the quality of the service. read more

A few months ago I had to cancel a physical therapy appointment and called Elements (CC) after being pleased with a massage I had at Elements (Arvada). As a triathlete/runner I am always in need of some IT Band TLC and sports massage. I lucked out and they had one more appointment for that day! I really appreciated my masseuse Stacey as she explained all the muscle groups she was working on and what she was doing to correct he problem (when I asked.). Don't worry, they don't talk your ear off, I just ask a lot of questions. Stacey was able to give me the requested pressure to make my body feel better. My third massage was with a different masseuse who was also great, but had different techniques. It's kind of cool to pick and chose your therapist based on your needs for that time. I'm always impressed by the friendly demeanor of the receptionists and appreciate getting a bag of Epsom salts following the massage. I'm a member and will probably remain one for a long time. I am not sure I would spend the money on myself if it was not automatically deducted monthly and I know my body needs it; it keeps me accountable for giving myself "me" time and taking care of body. read more

Their new thing now is that they are charging more for most of the therapists without telling you in advance. I'm so happy I took advantage of the Groupon deal a while back -- $60 for an 80-minute hot stone massage (normally $125) -- but am just mad that I didn't buy more than one! The only reason Elements doesn't get all five stars is their booking system, which seems to be nonexistent except for the receptionist, who (understandably) can only talk to one person at once. Maybe they haven't listened to the on-hold music, which is relaxing and all... except for the constant beeping noise (fax machine background?) every few seconds. Multiple people called while I was in the waiting room and another client also arrived, so it appears that they have enough business to justify an online booking system. Just a thought... But back to the massage. It. Was. Awesome. I really like that before I even went in, I learned that the therapists keep conversation to a minimum to encourage constant deep breathing and relaxation. Not that I don't love a good talk, but it was SO nice to just completely let go, focus on breathing, and relax. Sam was clearly aware of how important establishing a breath-body connection is, and he made me feel totally comfortable asking him to adjust pressure and focus on certain areas throughout the massage. That was by far the best part -- in the past, I've always felt like I'm insulting the therapist if I ask him/her to change something. This time around, though, was absolutely perfect. I'd love to go back more often, and definitely will at some point in the future, but for now, I might have to wait for another Groupon before I can afford something at full cost. read more

Usually they are good about listening to what hurts-where Kind staff at the front. Good pricing for first comers and also for people who want to do the membership. Not the best parking lot. I tried again. I did. Whatever they use for lotion really does not bode well for me and my skin, as it leaves an unpleasant after-massage odor that just about knocks me out. My massage was okay, and I felt good the next day, (not pained) but they really didn't do anything I asked- brief neck massage, no facial, and some weird hand/arm massage that had me hanging my arms over the sides of the table for at least half of it. My hands did get really cold from lack of blood flow! And because I wasn't a member, that 55 minute massage cost me a whopping $91. No thank you. Not ever again. read more

This is a 5/10 edit to my 2/17 edit...: Jennifer, another gem that I raved about before I edited my last review down in size, is history...she apparently wasn't responsible enough to consistently show up for work...pity! Mlete (pronounced mee-lee), who I previously wrote gave me a soothing but not very deep massage, proved to me she can indeed "bring the heat"...I got a lot better pressure than my previous visit with her over the holidays, and left feeling vaguely stunned and very satisfied. So I'm hitting Mlete for most visits. Zenon, also, is history and not available anymore - his other line of work took off. There were 4 amazingly talented people there that for 1 reason or another were gone a month or 2 after I had massages with them, and those 4 gave me the best massages in style, pressure, etc I've had in years. Bummer. I'm hacking off a star for the loss of some phenomenal talent there. Lest I've left people thinking that this is a "revolving door" for massage people, there are many other skilled body artists there who have been there on a long-term basis, so all is not doom and gloom at this location. Whoever you decide on choosing as your therapist, they have all varying styles and ranges available, and I don't think you'll be disappointed!! The price is also reasonable and, if you get a "membership" there, you will get approx 20% off the cost of a massage on a monthly basis, be it 55 min, 80 min or other. And there is *no penalty* if you back out of this plan at any time. That being the case, if you're going to get a massage more often than once every 3 months, you'd be well-advised to get the membership. They also give you nice bags of epsom bath salts to take a soothing bath at home, soften that skin up and draw out those icky toxins!!! Give them a try, they're great!!! The owner, Amy, is a real angel to deal with too when you get to meet her and chat her up. Edit: Other things I forgot: 39 bucks for your first visit - a steal!!! Monthly memberships only $49 (for the 55min massage), $72 (for the 90min massage), place is very clean and well-maintained!!! I was very much in need of a massage but unsure where to go. As you all know - money is not exactly falling from trees these days. I chose Elements based on the previous Yelp review by Stephen. (Thanks Stephen). Elements has a great "first-timer" discount for massages of all types & lengths. I chose the 80 minute therapeutic massage (yay!) There was the obligatory introductory discussion of how your body is holding up and what spots need special attention. After getting undressed and sliding under the covers, I was relieved when the therapist said, "I want to encourage you to relax and breathe deeply. Focus on your breath and don't feel obligated to talk through the massage. I do not usually talk but please let me know if you need any adjustments or if you'd like a change in pressure." I felt very comfortable there and was impressed at how well the therapist found the spots on my back that needed attention. Next time, I'll get try out a deep tissue massage. Little perks: lots of mints in the room, if you're nervous about your breath; post-massage water & bath salts sent home with you; open after work and on weekends. read more

Mediocre massage - noisy rooms - hidden charges - This is the worst establishment! The massages are mediocre at best, the atmosphere is tainted by the whirl of rushing traffic on 6th avenue. You have to have a mini-cooper to park in their lot. Then to top it off WATCH the hidden clause - it takes them 30 days EXTRA to cancel your account - so I canceled my account on the third and I got stuck for another month! What a huge rip-off! I really tried to like them... stuck with it for several months and tried four different bad massages... SAVE YOUR MONEY and go elsewhere. read more

The front desk staff is so nice, I love chatting with them before my appointment. Plus they are helpful in recommending a therapist if I can't make my schedule work with someone I've worked with before. I've had appointments with multiple therapists and all have done a great job. Cindy is amazing if you have any type of injury, I feel so much better after I see her and the results last for weeks (my main issue is being a cubicle dweller and stomach sleeper is really hard on my neck and shoulders, plus snowboaring in the winter usually results in injury or soreness). Recently I've been suffering from a lot of back pain and restless sleep. I have gone to several massage therapists and not found any resolution. I also just started a new job that involves a lot of physical labor, so I was in a bit of rush to minimize the pain on short notice. I called Elements and they were able to book a same day appointment! Awesome. This made me really excited!! However, I was still a bit apprehensive since I've had such rotten luck as of late. I went in being open to the experience. The space is small, intimate, quiet for the most part with minimal interference from the outside cars (6th street is a busy one way) passing by. They have a small parking lot, so easy to park too. Another bonus. I was greeted in a timely and attentive manner, offered water and a bit of banter about wellness programs and such. My massage therapist came out to greet me promptly, shook my hand and escorted me to the back room. Again, nice space, calming and all that you would expect it to be. Okkk!!! Now the even better stuff, TED! My massage therapist.... Hands down, one of the best massages I've ever had in my life!!! Trust me, I don't need to mention much more except last night I got some of the best sleep I've had in ages, no back pain this morning, no pain, just a bit of soreness. Thank you so much, I'll be back in two weeks for my next massage! Please look into their wellness program, their prices are competitive but worth it and if you sign up for the wellness program, I think you're getting a pretty good deal!
