First timer and I'll for SURE be back!!!…read more I love massages and this place was amazing. I was greeted so nicely by the owner. The private room was so clean. My massage therapist was TOM and he was absolutely amazing. He checked on the pressure and adjusted if I needed, he focused on areas I needed work on and also did my pressure points. I am pretty particular and I don't like someone to just soft touch massage and he did not disappoint. He was awesome!!!!

This place used to be our go to spot when I lived in Denver. I haven't been back for about 5 years…read more- and happened to be in town. My husband and I both booked foot massages. I'm used to Asian foot massages including a little shoulder rub at least (some give you a partial body massage), but this one was purely just foot. The guy I had was just doing the same motions over and over on my foot for the entire hour. It was hard to give feedback in real time because I kept thinking ok... maybe it'll change after 30 mins -- it didn't! He had good pressure, but my main issue is that he didn't do anything else but rub the arch of my foot! I've had tons of foot massages and they would typically work on my heel, ankle, individual toes, etc. I didn't get any of that. My husband wasn't happy with his massage either. His masseuse didn't apply enough pressure even after repeated requests. When we checked out, we still tipped out of courtesy, but we let the owner know that we were both dissatisfied -- and all she said was, "oh you have to let me know you want someone really good and I will make sure you have a better one next time". So by default, we should expect a sub par experience?? She offered no discounts and happily took our full payment and tip ($140 for two mediocre massages!). There won't be a next time for us.

When the Centennial office opened up near me, I chose a family plan for $150 a month. But you can…read moreonly add one other person to the plan, so when I wanted to give my daughter a massage, it would cost a $20 "transfer" fee and you can only do it twice a year. Not much of a family plan. Also, It's really hard to schedule a facial because they only have one person who does it and I've been told for months that they are hiring someone else. When I did get a facial, I was told that I was a VIP and could have any of the add-ons- what I wasn't told was that the add-on would cost another hour from my account. The one facial and one massage I was able to book were wonderfully done- it seems like the problems are with management/administration.

So tired of the $ shake down. And it's the same at all locations. They've recently started a gratuity system where you tip on the price that is double the amount of your monthly membership amount because it is what you would pay if you were not a member. Total rip off. They now charge a fee if you use your card to tip. I suggest leaving a tip before you leave the treatment room. I've canceled my membership with Hand & Stone due to their shady business practices. Be aware, if you cancel your membership, you only have 90 days to use any credits that you currently have. Side note, if you do visit this location, I highly recommend Catherine, she is by far the best aesthetician that I've had at Hand & Stone. She is Truly a professional and the best 50 minutes that you will give yourself.

When I went to the appointment they said they couldn't find my verification code from Groupon in their system. I had to either pay the full price or the $50 cancellation fee. What a great way to make people pay more money for either full price massage or late fee.

I have never left a bad review before, but this experience was so disappointing that I felt I…read moreneeded to warn others. My sister and I booked one-hour massages at the same time. During my sister's massage, her therapist told her to remove her underwear because she said it was "too tight." There was nothing wrong with asking if she was comfortable removing it, but the way it was said was rude, disrespectful, and made my sister feel uncomfortable. The biggest issue was that the two massage therapists spent most of our appointments talking to each other in their own language. Instead of enjoying a peaceful, relaxing massage, we had to listen to their conversation throughout most of the session. We couldn't relax because they were constantly talking, and it felt unprofessional. We also noticed that our massages ended in less than 50 minutes, even though we paid for a full hour. To top it off, they demanded a minimum 20% tip. I gave my therapist a $20 cash tip, and they charged my sister another $20 on her credit card. Since the massage was $70, that's far more than 20%. I have no problem tipping generously for great service, but tips should never be expected or demanded--especially when the service was rushed and unprofessional. Between the rude behavior, the constant talking during the massage, the shortened session, and the pressure to tip, this was one of the worst massage experiences I've ever had. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and professional massage.

Everytime she is finished I feel like I should have got an Uber home. I wish I could come more often But I will come as often as I can! Honestly I come for the foot reflexology , along with the fully clothed body massage, a 90 minute massage. First, your feet are soaking in clean hot water and you're laying back relaxed. She might start with a head and face and neck massage while your feet soak. Then she starts with your feet and legs and pressure points that help to relax and calm your body. Even just the foot massage allows the rest of your body to relax and you can feel the knots or the muscles that were tight in your back, legs and arms. start to loosen. Then you move to the higher table , and lay face down while she massages you from head to toe. I cannot get off the table quickly when she's done. I have to lay there a few minutes longer and take deep breaths. I move into the yoga baby position and stretch my back before I roll over to sit up on the side of the massage table and still take a moment to step onto the floor. I slowly gather my things. Put on my glasses, put on my shoes and I can't ever stop telling her , thank you.
