The bait and switch hotel. I chose this hotel based on what I saw on social media. not good. Marriott starts off strong to get you through the door and then slowly lets their properties degrade. The "green" just means that they don't get you enough hot water, proper cooling and the refrigerator doesn't hold temp. Nothing like food poisoning on holiday. Here are several items I noted- 1. Check in guy didn't say anything about their amenities- this should have been a warning. 2.no restaurant 3. The wooden bed hurts if you sit on the side- a little bruising never hurt anyone 4. The extra couch in the room is about 5 inches off the ground- 10 years or younger only, otherwise you are squatting every time you get up. 5. Low to the ground toilet- more squatting 6. Hot refrigerators- take a thermometer with you 7. No security 8. Was told housekeeping every other day 9. Happy hour mon- thurs only 10. The stinkiest pillows I've encountered and I stay at a lot of hotels. Please, wash your da.. linens! Use the water, I know it's green but spreading disease is bad. 11. No cappuccino machine- another lie 12. Breakfast sucks- it's all bread. Today was sausage and random eggs. Oh yes, don't get the eggs scrambled- the housekeepers don't know how to cook them. 13. Lots of hair in the bed- not mine. If you want to be lied to and sleep in everyone else's filth, this is your place. Stay at motel 6- same crappy environment for 1/3 the price. This place needs a new manager desperately. read more

This is an excellent Element overall. This location primary serves business travelers as it's literally located in a business park. If you're expecting incredible views this just ain't it. It has easy access to highway 26 to downtown portland and PDX and to Cornell Rd/Bethany for all the usual local amenities like Safeway etc. The hotel is modern, clean, well equipped with amenities such as: saline pool, fitness center, hot item breakfast, coffee and tea in the lobby, complimentary beer and wine monday thru thursday, a comfortable and spacious lounge with television to watch sporting events, a friendly and courteous front desk staff who are available 24/7 to help with anything. The suites are spacious and modern--the king and double queen suites come with a basic microwave, kitchen sink and basic utensils/plates for some light meal prep. You'll have to grave to the 1 bedroom suites to get the full kitchen. TVs are modern LED displays with basic cable and a few streaming apps. The bathrooms are sleek with glass and tile throughout. The linens are a step up from i'd say a....hampden inn....plenty of light comes in from the sun in the western facing rooms. For around a 160 dollar price point this fit the bill for me. It ain't gonna knock your socks off with amazing perks or views but for the price i paid being congruent with the value provided overall they knocked it out of the park! read more

We checked in on Nov 25th and out on Nov 29th. We arrived early, about noon, and asked if we could check in early. The front desk said the room had been cleaned but needed a quality check before we could check in. We asked how long until it would be ready. They said he didn't know but we could check back later. He didn't offer to call us or send us a text, so we left and ran some errands. No big deal, but it would have been a nice touch of customer service to offer to call us. A quick look over the desk and I could see he was anxious to get back to whatever on-line game he was playing. Travelers look for hotels to provide two major services: a comfortable place to sleep and a hot shower. At Element, the suites are very nice and the beds are comfortable, I'd say a job well done with that. However, two of our four mornings we had cold showers. Yes, it was probably prime time when everyone else was taking showers and now I know to shower earlier before all the hot water is used up. A cold shower is not a nice way to start the day. Had a week-long vacation with my family. We love this well kept hotel with a team of very friendly and helpful staff. Great exercise room, love the treadmills and water machine. Very clean laundry room Amazing espresso machine with milk frother. So good I had to look it up and see if the espresso machine is within our budget. (NO) Happy hour with wine, beer & Cheese Conveniently located, near the freeway, gas station, food etc. Bike you can borrow Board games freshly prepared hot breakfast made to order. Fourth night here. Kids partying outside of our room with music and BBQ and everything. These kids are not even staying here. All the staff we have seen is very young and it seems that their friends are allowed to be here all day and night. They are constantly eating and drinking beer in the lobby and hanging out around the whole hotel like it's their home. It makes us as guests feel like we are invading their space. Horrible feeling. Horrible experience. Hate this hotel. Lasyly, kids couldn't go swimming for the 4 days we were here do to the NASTY pool. Words can't describe the appreciation I have for the manager of this hotel tonight (8/15). My 3 year old and I have been jumping from hotel to hotel because they found mold in our house and it was making my daughter sick. I have to do a lot of work from home, so figuring out how to manage this all has been a nightmare. I'm a single mom and I'm barely standing at this point from the stress and toll this whole thing is taking on us. I got to Element tonight and there was an unfortunate issue with their computer system, so they didn't have the room I had reserved. I needed to stay in a room that had a bedroom separated with a door so that my daughter could get good rest while I work on my computer late into the night and really early in the morning. I was defeated and didn't know what to do. I sat down in the lobby and tried so hard not to cry so that I didn't further embarrass myself. I already was not at my best and didn't handle the news well at all. I looked and looked online, but I couldn't find anything in my price range in the area so late in the day. My daughter, at that point, had taken off her shoes and was rolling around the lobby furniture eating cheddar bunnies... our groceries were getting warm and I didn't know what we were going to do. That's when the manager came up to me. She said she's gonna figure something out and said she'd be right back. She came back and handed me the room key to the nicest room they have in the place. She said she just really wanted to make this right and get us taken care of. I was absolutely speechless and so embarrassed. I couldn't believe that she would do something like that. I gathered up our things and burst into tears once we were in the elevator. Seeing my daughter's eyes light up at the sight of the room filled my heart with joy. To say this hotel will take care of you and make you feel welcome is an understatement. They went above and far beyond what was necessary. just wanted to give you a heads up, CJ was our KJ at Orchards Tap tonight and he was advertising your bar. Unfortunately he was one of the worst KJ's I've ever met in Clark County WA, I waited over 2 and half hours to sing one song, that was after multiple people before me and after had song 2 - 3 songs. After I asked him when I was up he admitted to me that "shit I forgot". Thinking he would work me into his rotation (of 4 singers) Then when it was My wife's turn to sing for the second time before me, we asked the KJ again when it would be my turn?! Only to be met with hostility and rudeness (including cussing us out) Having been a former KJ's and winning "Best KJ in Clark County in 2018" we had enough and left. We will never be back at that establishment and unfortunately as long as he is your KJ we will never try out your establishment or anywhere he is at. read more

Best hotel I have ever stayed! Good customer service. We stayed in a studio with two queen beds. Super spacious, comfortable and clean. Great complimentary breakfast with made to order egg/daily special. 24 hours coffee and water station. My kids love the indoor swimming pool. Brand new hotel only opened 2 weeks ago. They upgraded our room for us. Stacee the GM was who checked us in the first night and she's absolutely wonderful! They have airport carts to help with the luggage. The whole staff is very friendly and helpful. We love that the TVs have Netflix on them! Anytime you ask the front dress for anything they are very fast to bring it up! Hot breakfast in the morning with a chef that goes above and beyond! We loved our stay. We loved that the blinds block out a lot of light in the morning!! read more

This is by far the worst place to stay or visit for business trips. The general manager, Marisa, was incredibly rude and behaved inappropriately. On our first day, we witnessed her verbally abusing employees, which was utterly unacceptable. Then, she confronted us for simply filling our water bottles with the water provided in the lobby. Later, we observed her mistreating a visitor who was using the conference room for her company.We connected with him after the altercation and they said she had been bullying the entire group for the past 2 days. This type of behavior is appalling and reflects poorly on a business in the hospitality industry, where hospitality and common decency should be paramount. I cannot support a place that hires management displaying such behavior. read more

I'll start by saying I'm a Titanium Elite member with Marriott, I live in hotels. I was excited for this property, until I got here. This hotel is the worst - stay at motel 6, you'll have a better experience. Apparently they only had one room available, yet, cant see anyone here. I had a reservation, made weeks ago, and they put me in a handicap room. The shower had a metal contraption in it, theres not a kitchen, which most Elements do, the bed is literally on the floor. Last, the deadbolt does not work. This is a joke. I requested a room change, was told no. They said they don't upgrade members and they don't participate in the upgrade programs for Marriott - yet are a Marriott property. I understand this hotel is new, but they should have a manager here who can take care of the guests who are loyal to them. Never again - stay at the AC in the same parking lot or at a different campus. The sounding areas offer nothing - no stores, no restaurants - nothing within walking distance. There's a restaurant in the corner - but it too is a joke. read more

I needed a pet friendly hotel in Beaverton and so I chose Element. Location was great for my needs. The hotel was new, clean, well-lit and designed nicely. The staff was nice, but young and seemed relatively inexperienced. It appeared on the hotel website that there would be a dog bed along with a puppy treat bag in the room. When I arrived and asked about this (as there wasn't anything like this in my room,) I was simply given a magnet that said that I had a pet in my room. I didn't complain but it was clear that the front desk staff didn't address the issue. The gym space was nicely equipped with a variety of cardio and weights. My one complaint would that there was no disinfectant of any kind in the gym area for exercisers to use both before and after handling equipment and sweating on machines etc. We were required to wear a mask while exercising, but then not given an option to disinfect our used surfaces. So despite that fact that for the most part, COVID protocol was being followed by both staff and guests, i.e. masks were required while in the facility (gym included) and hand sanitizers were available, the fact that there was no disinfectant to clean gym equipment by users, was disappointing to say the least. As a general rule (COVID or not,) it is a good practice to disinfect high use gym areas. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but had to go with 4. With that said, I would stay there again in hopes that these issues would be resolved as they are an easy fix. read more

This is a brand new hotel that opened on 4/26/21. Rooms are spacious and modern. We had a king studio that comes with a fridge, a sink, and a full kitchen. We stayed for four nights. There was no housekeeping because of COVID. We asked for fresh towels and toiletries during our stay. The team was great. GM Stacee Gadea and her team were superb. We had problems with our thermostat with our first room. They were quick to respond and changed our room right away after 20 minutes. The hot breakfast was a plus. Coffee and tea are available throughout the day. We would definitely stay there again when we return. read more

Absolutely perfect! Clean, bright, spacious! Excellent customer service. The kitchenette and large fridge were a great surprise as well.

The staff were very polite and friendly. Relax evening of complimentary beverages and light snacks were excellent. Best coffee machine in hotel lobby I've seen; lattes, etc. available all day. Excellent complimentary hot breakfast options. The down side of this property has to do with the facility; limited ADA friendly. Front entrance has 1 wheelchair ADA parking and 1 regular ADA. More ADA in back. Walk down sidewalk past open sport court and then weave around outdoor tables and chairs to back lobby entrance. Our floor had 1 ADA room off the elevator, 1 hearing impaired room half way down the hall and 3rd ADA room at end of hallway 1 room shy of last room by stairs. Very poor layout for ADA rooms and limited quantity. Rooms are designed for extended stay with kitchen appliances. 1 chair at desk for eating and, 1 overstuffed armless chair. Some rooms showed small side table so we called. Not our room. 2 queen beds, kitchen and 1 chair for dining. Ridiculous! Beds not the Westin quality we've experience. Back to Beaverton Towneplace where facility is much more accommodating for travelers. read more

The people in the lobby were really nice and they were very understanding and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and spacious. There was no stains on the sheets. Their pool was also clean and my kids had a great time in the pool. read more

This is a really late review, that being said this place is awesome stayed here a couple of months back and stayed a couple of nights super friendly staff except one person I came in with my cat and I called before hand and the person on the phone said it was ok, after a long drive we arrive to the element as I was checking in the young man in the front Brandon I think. He was super friendly and really helpful as he was checking us in this woman came out of nowhere and said to Brandon said no cats allowed and the young man said don't worry if the person said over the phone it was ok then it's ok, and she was really mad about it saying don't to check us in due to our cat but I was assured that having my cat was ok when I called and I was not going to let her out of her carrying cage not long after the same lady knocks on my door and said if that cat messes up the room I'm going to charge you for messing up the room I'm not sure if she was trained in customer service but that was really uncalled and so unprofessional and so rude I felt personally attacked I was caught off guard not sure it her name was tawny or tony couldn't remember for the life of me shes the one with shaved hair on the side , but after that the rest of my stay was awesome the other staff was also super nice and helpful Joyce was very helpful with great recommendations around the area for good eats and Blake knows his beer and recommended a really tasty beer for happy hour what a good place for fresh breakfast and happy hour which is FREE by the way I would of loved to give 5 stars if it wasn't for that lady tawny or tony. I hope the next time I come there I don't have to deal with her customer service but I would come back if I'm traveling that way in the future definitely give this place a try hopefully you won't feel personally attack read more
