Super friendly staff, free breakfast and very family friendly vibe. So convenient to just walk downstairs in the morning and lots of hot food selections and of course the self-serve waffle station is always a hit. Rooms and beds comfortable. We def would come back for another stay in future if in the area.

It was after our trip is when I realized it was the Residence Inn Lake Oswego, which we had a great experience, I wish I could say the same about this visit. We arrived late, close to midnight, as the sign states to ring the bell for entry and this is what we did. The only front desk staff working that night ( Saturday 10/28/23, strong Filipino or Indian accent) gave us the look as we are bothering her. She is in the back doing not sure what, She was not the friendliest. No smile, no thank you, where is the customer service?!. We felt rushed at check in. Normally at check in I am informed of Marriott gift due to my Platinum status, I asked and she then mentioned that she put 500 Marriott points in my account. It would be nice to know this with out asking, I don't think this staff likes us because we went back down to front lobby for some other things and I get that vibe from her. First it was late, long flight, and needed to get sleep since we got a busy day ahead. We needed to use the microwave which the room did not come with one, Well we went downstairs to use the microwave, actually we also needed hot water and incident happened with the microwave. Yelp, this made the front desk staff irritated even more we had to hurry and get back to our room. The room was small for a Fairfield Inn, notes- renovations are going on at this Marriott. No charge for parking and there is breakfast which is great. Main thing we got a great night sleep & breakfast/coffee in, all refreshed and ready to start our adventures. The staff at check out was super friendly. Big difference from when we checked in. I hope to not have to encounter this one employee if I check in at this hotel again. All in all, our stay was great just that one staff member's needs to work on customer service skills.

The lobby, restaurant and bar are closed. They do have a makeshift bar area but it's composed of what feels like party rental bar and tables and has a curtain separating this from the construction zone. (Note: the curtains don't muffle the drilling at all). 2) my room was not clean to my satisfaction. It smelled like vinegar. But there were various smears and spots on surfaces, including door handles and other high touch surfaces. When I see this, it makes me question the cleanliness of the entire room.

Sorry no photo of the room. Next time I won't rely on other people to do what they promised and I will do it myself. We were already checked out by the time I realized this.  The hotel is pretty and it is clean, as was the room. The pool is great because it doesn't get too deep, it's half inside, half outside. If you don't like much sun on hot days (I do like sun), this is the place to be, because like some other Crown Plazas, the hotel is shaped like a U, so it blocks most of the sun. The price here is usually better than it is for some other hotels.  They use to offer a breakfast buffet years ago, but now they don't unfortunately. Also, the pool was warmer in the past, but it's been cool for a while now. That's the reason for the one star deduction, and the only reason we may not be back. If they fix that, we will definitely book again

However, I can see why there are low stars for this property as the facilities seemed to be neglected. To start off on a good note, the kitchen was stocked reasonably well and the oven, microwave, and refrigerator worked. Here are the following that need repair or attention: -kitchen sink leaks (see video) -the dishwasher detergent remained after the wash (see photo) -the hot water in the lobby is not hot -the water dispenser in the gym barely works -the darts in the game room are all broken (take down the board) -the stationary bicycle needed a 9V battery for the display screen -wireless charging in the bedroom doesn't appear to work -there is a major crack in the step leading up to the 2nd floor -the tile floor in the bathroom needs new grout -the window coverings need to be cleaned As for the complimentary breakfast, there's a wide selection to choose from and the prepared food is good. The front desk was helpful in providing a 9V battery for the gym bicycle and providing hot water for my tea. The rooms are comfortable and I was able to park close to my room.

The room is certainly to my liking, although I've been in larger residences, this one sufficed for the purpose of business travel. Everything was clean, tidy and accessible. The AC is gets very cold, just how I like it and the kitchen area is a nice size. There is ample parking and the grounds are well kept. I can tell this is a dated property but I wouldn't leave a bad review because of that. As long as the place is clean, I am a happy camper.

Located right next to Bridgeport Village mall it was safe clean central to many different activities for my family. The staff was great from beginning to end. We stayed a total of three nights and coming from Hawaii its ambiance and detailed amenities like the hot tub and fire place made it a serene and relaxing stay and our toddler enjoyed it so much. For the price you can't beat it and it was simply amazing and I'm so glad we booked the deluxe king suite. The breakfast buffet included a wide array of choices and perfect for any traveler whether it's for business or leisure. There was also a silent auction going on in the beautifully crafted lobby with autographed pictures of celebrities and athletes to support cancer research. 10/10 overall would highly recommend and will make sure to stay here again on the next visit!

Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast buffet. Fresh fruit, pastries, cereal selection, eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, English muffins, oatmeal...and more! They did a good job keeping it stocked, even up to closing time for the late stragglers. I would whole heartedly recommend The Grand Hotel. It's located in a nice area with plenty of shopping and things to do. An excellent stay, for sure.
