Wonderful service, after a windy cold weekend in Prescott 2 weeks ago by Sunday I was starting to feel like a bad cold or even flu coming on. So once back I'm Phoenix I made an online appt for a 4 pm on a Sunday infusion to help ward off what I knew was coming or perhaps lessen the effects of my impending illness. Booking was super easy on-line and a very pleasant female nurse was there on time and set me up and it didn't take as long as some other places because she put a compression thing on the IV bag about half way through. Fine by me, like too 30 minutes and not 45-60 I've had before. I believe I got the "" immunity" IV. Price was competitive, and I really liked how good the nurse was. I think the IV helped lessen what turned to be a really bad cold which kept me from going to Orange Theory for 2 weeks. Ugh! Great company, I'll definitely use their service again. read more

I'm so grateful for Element IV, and for Krista in particular. I came down with a stomach bug or food poisoning on Saturday evening and could quickly tell that I was so dehydrated I'd need to receive an IV - gulping down water wouldn't work fast enough, and I couldn't keep it down anyway. My mom (a nurse) recommended going to the ER, but I have terrible health insurance and knew I'd end up paying thousands. I texted Element, and Krista showed up at my door an hour later. I'd never received an IV in my life, let alone at my own house, so I was clueless--but desperate. Krista was incredibly kind and patient with me as she worked to find a vein that would take the IV. She never once made me feel gross, even though she was witnessing me at an incredibly humbling moment. I felt comfortable and safe around her and when the bag was empty, I owed roughly $400-far less than I would have paid at the ER. The anti-nausea meds in the bag helped a ton, too. I feel that I would not have recovered from my illness nearly as quickly if I had skipped the IV. Now I know that in a pinch, Element has my back. read more

When I woke up with a stomach bug I knew I was in for a rough 24-48 hours. I couldn't keep any fluids down and physically couldn't get out of bed. I knew this wasn't sustainable with two small kids running around so on a whim I called element IV therapy. To my surprise they sent a nurse to my house within an hour! Krista was punctual, friendly, and very professional. She didn't try to up me on things that I didn't need. She quickly found a vein and I was on my way to a fast recovery. This past week, I had my first experiences with IV hydration therapy. During my first experience, I was having eye strain/pain and a subsequent migraine due to effects of PRK eye surgery. Stuart and Jim were fantastic; they talked me through all the various treatment packages/bags/cocktails and made some recommendations, including adding Toradol to help with the pain. My eyes and headache stopped pretty soon after the IV began. I also slept very well that night. I called them to come out again to recover from an active day spent in the hot Arizona sun, playing golf and hiking, as well as having a few adult beverages. This time, I was just seeking overall rehydration and energy and added in some NAD as well. Again, Jim and Stuart thoroughly explained all the options and created a package that was perfect for what I needed at the time. I love that they are open 24 hours and that they are mobile and will come to you, anywhere, anytime. I was just in town for a visit but next time I come back, I'll be sure to book another service! Exceptionally professional and effective. Our assigned nurse arrived at the house exactly on time, (actually a bit early even). This was a same day inquiry/appointment and their expeditious response was perfect. Within minutes of the start of the procedure, my wife was beginning to feel replenished. After several hours, she has begun to feel lousy again, but that is to be expected as the tainted intake must pass through and time will guide that. Loved my IV! This is my third IV from Element IV and I couldn't ask for better service. I flew into town and was feeling sick. Wanted to have a nice getaway with my mom but was not 100%. I called Element IV spoke to Jim and he had a nurse within hours at my place. He talked me through his thoughts and suggestions on what could help, and he was spot on! My nurse was amazing!! She was so sweet, kind, and the best. Afterwards, I felt good again. My symptoms subsided or went away. Finally I had energy again. Thank you!! read more

I had been using this company for 2 years. The owner (Jim) is a total sales person, and only cares about money. He actually tries to take advantage of people who he thinks "has money" and charge them more, but will sit there and tell you he gave "x, y, and z medication for free, because you could tell they couldn't afford it". He also was extremely inconstant on pricing and have several receipts to show if anyone wants to see them. He would say oh I added vitamin c today since you're so bruised from all the pokes, and I was like ok thanks, and then be charged for it. I have a port, and he re-punctured the port site multiple times with the same huber needle less than 24 hours after getting it implanted (this should be a sterile procedure, but according to him he was on the infectious disease board and this is just fine") He sent me pictures of other clients (in his defense, I do not know if they are bound by hippa or not but still wouldn't want someone to take a picture of me and show it to another client with out my consent. I do have very difficult veins, but he often would poke at least 10x and then say well just try tomorrow. Although he wouldn't take money for these occurrences, if that happened with another nurse, he wanted me to pay for their time without receiving the service. I referred a friend to him who also did 2 or 3 times weekly as well as her mom, and felt no appreciation for doing so. The friend I referred is a nurse and we both had a nurse there Krista that still works for him that reused the same iv catheter, and didn't want to "waste her supplies". My friend told me she specifically wrote she did not want her, and his answer is always "hell make it right" but does nothing. It says they are 24hrs. They aren't (it's a matter of how expensive the call is, and how easy it is for him to do and if he's in the mood). He also took my vitals AFTER starting the IV, and would not even tell me what they were because my BP was so low. He finished the infusion of course (had me pay) and then SENT me to the ER and suggested he thought I was septic, but advises other nurses not to give medical advice. I could go on an on, but I think you get the point. If anyone wants to see invoices, or conversation screen shots, please let me know. He also would tell nurses if they couldn't get it quick enough to just leave and not do my IV if there was a better call. However, if there wasn't, he'd rather have them go through supplies and keep trying until the got one so he could have the business. I felt very taken advantage of from this company, and would NOT recommend them. I see the 4 stars he has and he personally has told e he tried to get those reviews removed, so don't trust everything you see. I will say if you do use this company Cheryl and Olivia are great! I just couldn't give more business to this Jim, especially after he signed off to manage my port, and has only done the opposite. Don't wait, just call and get the IV already. I wasn't sure if they serviced people who are in the midst of a stomach virus from hell but they sent me out a nurse in 1 hour. Thank goodness because there is no way I could've got into the car to drive anywhere let alone make it into the evening especially with children to care for. I had never done this before so I didn't know what to expect but the nurse reassured me that I should be on the mend after zofran, immunity boost and whatever else I paid $295 for. At that point I'd pay anything aside from a visit to the ER for the nightmare I was living that day to end. Sure enough I was on the mend. Unfortunately my whole family ended up with it later that night but our AMAZING nurse Natali came back that night to take care of my son & mom. She was able to get approval for him as he's under the age they typically service and saved us a trip to the hospital. It did not take long for him to perk back up but my mom did not respond as well to the IV as I would've hoped even with more Zofran than I had. My husband's IV the next day (Saturday) took longer to get since from what I heard they get pretty busy on the weekends with people who drank too much the night before. And even though we requested Natali they sent another nurse which was fine. One thing I will say is if you don't have to pee by the time you're done or are still nauseous talk to your nurse about receiving more fluids before they remove your IV. I would 100% do this again and am so grateful that we had this option especially not having health insurance to cover what would've been VERY expensive and uncomfortable visits to a medical facility. read more
