My mom (a nurse) recommended going to the ER, but I have terrible health insurance and knew I'd end up paying thousands. I texted Element, and Krista showed up at my door an hour later. I'd never received an IV in my life, let alone at my own house, so I was clueless--but desperate. Krista was incredibly kind and patient with me as she worked to find a vein that would take the IV. She never once made me feel gross, even though she was witnessing me at an incredibly humbling moment. I felt comfortable and safe around her and when the bag was empty, I owed roughly $400-far less than I would have paid at the ER. The anti-nausea meds in the bag helped a ton, too. I feel that I would not have recovered from my illness nearly as quickly if I had skipped the IV. Now I know that in a pinch, Element has my back.

Fine by me, like too 30 minutes and not 45-60 I've had before. I believe I got the "" immunity" IV. Price was competitive, and I really liked how good the nurse was. Consistent care, and excellent phlebotomists: if you're not familiar with the term, they're the people who find the best vein to poke. They routinely earn two gold stars...! I like the staff: having several decades of medical training, I like professionals who do good work. These people use excellent medical hygiene, unlike a few other places where IVs are started with non-gloved hands. Excellent sterile technique. Their attention to detail rates five stars alone: they are exceptional at finding out how they can best meet your needs, and they do that very well. Why do I say that? I say it because I feel better in the next days following an infusion. Very personable staff. The facilities are spotless: in all truth, I've never seen anything that appeared dirty. New, adjustable couches have been brought in, and they're very comfortable: I frequently doze off... I don't like getting poked -- but they do a great job of it. If you're not a customer/patient, you should be... unless you don't like feeling better. Understand that there are limits to what they can do -- but I'd wager that they can help reverse some of the damage we do to ourselves. Isn't that a sufficient reason to try what they offer? Keep your expectations realistic-- and I believe you'll be pleased with the long-term results.

After coming down with a bad illness overnight, I knew I needed an IV but didn't want to drive, sit in a waiting room, potentially be exposed to something else and it's pretty much the same cost as doing so with AZ IV Medics but it's in the comfort of your own home. We have used AZ IV Medics for years for various medical issues for my family members. In our last…read morevisit, my wife requested to have a tech that doesn't wear perfume or have strong smells and to have the IV go slow because all of these would make her symptoms from her condition worse as she is suffering from a rare complex neurological condition. First off the tech arrived and although she was very kind and great, she had a strong smell from her lotion that fill our whole house. We asked her if after putting the IV in, if she could sit in the other room and check in on us because she smelled to strong and it was making my wife sick. Additionally, we asked to make the IV slow in order to not overwhelm her system. She agreed to both and said it was no problem. An hour later, a dispatch operator named Chris (apparently he is one of the owners as well), calls his tech, and then proceeds to yell at my wife and telling her that her request and the speed that we were going were simply "unacceptable". I don't care who you are, you don't yell at your customer (who is already dealing with stress from a medical condition) because your tech agreed to our request. If there was an issue, it should have been explained in a better way. Simply, they don't care about you and your care, they just want to get to the next appointment and collect your money. Will never use them again.
