First of all, i would like to put it out there that I definitely do not recommend that you go here. The service is terrible, and the employees and owner are rude. I went there looking for my wedding dress, which is supposed to be a good experience, this was not. I found the dress i was in love with. It was slightly big but they assured me that the seamstress would make the alterations and it would "fit like a glove". The dress came back from being altered, still too big, not at all fitting like a glove. I asked if they could fix it so that it actually fit me and i was given a crappy attitude, they still did it though. I came back for my dress and noticed a brown stain on the front of the dress, many wrinkles (when it was supposed to have been pressed) and a pull on the back. I then politely asked for the stain to be removed as my wedding day was coming and i wanted it to be perfect. They partially removed the stain and told me that it was the best that they could do , so i tried the dress on. The dress fit better then before but it was a little snug as the owner was zipping me up, she made a snarky comment. She told me that now that it was altered, again if i sat down or try to sit down i was going to rip my dress. I let it go and went up to the register for my dress to be put in the garment bag.As the employee, Erin was putting it in the garnment bag, the owner told her no no no and to put it in one of the plastic bags instead. Went here, it was one of my first appointments. Nice salon. I didnt like that my budget was disregarded. I liked some of the dresses but the consultant was not listening to what i liked. Called twice before making my appointment. Both times I talked with the person on the phone and asked if they had plus size sample dresses and both times was assured there would be plenty. Came to my appointment only to find there were very very few (honestly, maybe one?) Plus size samples. The sales lady seriously told me to just hold it up in front of myself and walk out to show my family. The sales person eventually brought in one dress she said she "thinks" i could try on. The dress was the exact opposite of what I said I was looking for. When I pointed that out I was told "well this is your size". Absolutely awful. Went gown shopping with friends on a Saturday afternoon in September. I am glad we waited till later in the day as it sounds like mornings were very crowded. You make an appointment and you are greeting by the clerk who will help you find the perfect gown. There are some clearance gowns and sales at the shop and we checked them out first. Since there were only one of a kind we search the ones that were my size but didn't find one we really liked. The bridal room to try on the gowns was nice and very roomy. I guess since I was the only one there. The sales lady helped me the entire time with putting on my dress and taking it off, hanging it up, getting me another one,,,,etc. I was very pleased with the attention and service. She seemed to know what I wanted and listened to exactly what my price range was too. She never rushed us as everyone had their own opinions and some dresses were tried on again. The store used to be a bike store and several other venues but I hope this one is able to find its niche there. The gowns were gorgeous, reasonable priced and the staff was very helpful. There was a discount given for paying the total of the gown and a percentage off any other item. They had the perfect shoes to match the dress there too. I did not check out the tuxedos since we have plenty of time. Hope the rest of the time my girls and I are there for fittings and such goes as well as our original adventure. read more

This store is a perfect place to find a prom dress. The atmosphere is bright and friendly, and the podium/ mirror setup they have when you're trying on a dress makes you feel like you're at Kleinfeld on "Say Yes to the Dress!" The owner Gizelle was extraordinary kind and soft spoken, and she recommended several dresses to me and the staff helped me lace it up. When I found the perfect dress in the perfect size, they ordered it and it came weeks before the Prom. They even added beautiful beading to the top of the dress so it would stand out. Even though it was prom dress shopping I felt like a bride because the staff was so kind and they catered exclusively to my needs and requests. Granted, this was a whilw ago but I came across the store again as I was looking for a formal dress and figured I should write a Yelp review about my great experience. Plus, I've worn the dress several times over since the high school prom to weddings and fancy dinners; I feel like a princess each time I put it on and I always get compliments! 10/10 would shop here again. This store has moved to Bel Air Rd in Nottingham. Please stay away! These people are con artist's. When we had the brides maids fitted for their dresses some had requested a size 8, while the staff insisted on a 6? We told them to order size 8. What do they do? Order the size 6. So of course the dresses don't fit. Their solution, well we can alter them for $50.00 a piece??? Come on now. My wife also had a terrible time with her wedding dress. The staff is very rude. I went bridal gown shopping with my mom and sister on a Friday morning and I was the only person in the store and it was not crowded at all which was very nice. The shop was very clean and the fitting rooms were very large. The reason I only give this store 2 stars is because of the poor service I received...at first I thought the lady helping me had paid attention and listened to they qualities of the dress I was looking for however after I tried on a few dresses she started to push dresses on me that I did not like...which maybe they didn't have the style I wanted in the store (which may be a sign they did not have such a large selection) but when I nicely told her I did not want to try the other dresses on in that same style she began to have an attitude and seemed angry at me because I was not immediately deciding on a dress. When I told her I was not going to buy a dress today and that I wanted to think about it she went to my mother and tried to convince her to convince me to buy the dress today (I did not know this until after we left the store) and when my mother told her it was my decision she did not speak to us again and we left the store. Even if I do decide to buy the dress I liked that day I definitely will not be buying it from her after my experience. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!!! Where do I begin?! Awful customer service! First off, they talked me into ordering a larger size to make sure the gown would fit, and of course when it came in, it was huge on me....exactly as my mother predicted (side note, always listen to your mother.) But since the sample size I had tried on fit me perfect (which was the size they talked me out of ordering b/c it had been tried on so much "it was probably stretched out") they tried to convince me into swapping my new dress out with it for an even exchange. HA! Yes, you read that right...a $3000 brand new dress for a used sample that had rips and tears in it. On top of that, the bustle was a slightly different color from the rest of the gown and they tried to blame it on the lighting in the store. The amount of excuses they came up with was comical. I regrettably ended up having to pay almost $1500 in alterations to them. So now, a dress they had originally told me was "on sale" for $2700, was now costing us $4500. To add to this horrendous experience, the consultant, Pat, who originally helped me on my initial appointment who was the main reason I ordered it, was never heard from again. I couldn't wait to just be done with them, but I wasn't that lucky. We unfortunately had already ordered the groomsmen suits through them as well, so I had to continue to deal with their excuses and shortcomings. Since our wedding was 3 hrs away, we had the grooms parents pick up the groom and ring bearer suits for us b/c we could only rent the suits for a few days. I found out the morning of the wedding while I was getting ready that Elegant Touch forgot to include the vests that we ordered for the GROOM and the RING BEARER. So now the groom's vest which was the one thing that was setting the groom apart from the rest of the groomsmen, made him look like every other guy in the wedding. Not to mention was supposed to be the one thing that made him match with the ring bearer. We had planned for him to be wearing only the vest for the dance that we rehearsed for a year and he just looks completely different than how we imagined it. I could not be more sick over how they treated us and their lack of effort to even offer any type of consolation for their forgetful mistakes. I hate that I can't even stand to look at our wedding pictures b/c it still fires me up how much we look nothing like the way we wanted to. Your wedding is not all about the attire, so we of course still had a great time and had a wonderful wedding...but my stomach truly turns every time I see the pictures of us from the ceremony, our portraits and our dance we worked so hard on. I just wish they could even understand a tenth of how much they ruined such a special part of our day we were so looking forward to cherishing. You spend so much time and energy on planning, budgeting and paying so much attention to detail on making everything as perfect as you possibly can, and it just takes one vendor to ruin it all. read more

Save yourself the trip and go to Amanda Ritchey instead. Allow me to explain why : 1) The customer service at Elegant Touch is dreadful. The consultants (that I interacted with) are totally uninformed about products and very pushy. 2) Even if you do find a dress you love (certainly to be overpriced) you will be gauged when it comes time for alterations. After the seamstress cut my dress to pieces, she gave me my alterations quote, which was $677.00 on a $2100 dress. When I expressed my shock at the cost, I was told I could come back "when the Filipino seamstress is in, since she charges less." 3) Management needs to realize that a bridal salon is not the place for their marital spats. Twice I witnessed totally unprofessional (and morally reprehensible) behavior on the part of the male owner toward his wife. At one point I suggested that they take their argument to the back room. Because I wasn't interested in supporting this establishment's unprofessional business practice or exploitation of their non Greek employees, I took my dress to Amanda Ritchey for alterations. Their seamstresses and management are kind, accommodating, and fair. read more

I cannot even give this place any stars. (But I had to to post) I went here with my friend who's getting married and the customer service was awful. We found a dress my friend loved and the sales consultant said it was made by a private designer who only designed for that store. She refused to give us any information about the dress. She tried to sell us the dress as is for $2000 when there were stains and tears in the dress. She was more concentrated on a sale than making the experience special for the. bride. We went to another store the next day who had the exact same dress by a specific designer for $300 less than Elegant Touch. I would never recommend any one go to Elegant Touch. The customer service was awful. They focused more on a sale than the experience. I'm still fuming at the fact that they lied to make a sale. The owner actually also had the audacity to call my friend and ask for my number because they were upset about this yelp review. I scheduled an appointment online for a time in November 2018. I am newly engaged and trying to schedule bridal appointments. On the website it says to call if you don't receive a response in reference to your appointment request within 72 hours. I made that request on Sunday and decided to call on Wednesday when I hadn't heard anything. I spoke with an older lady and told her I didn't get a response and asked to book for a Sunday. She goes "oh hun well we're closed on Sundays." I said "okay, the only other day I am off would be a Monday, could I do that?" "We're closed on Mondays too." She didn't seem like she cared in the least little bit nor did she offer any other date and time to accommodate me. I live around this shop and pass it all the time which is why I was really excited to visit. After reading all the reviews, I'm glad I will NOT be buying my dress from here! read more

Store is relatively nice inside but each gown had plastic covers which wasn't the best first impression. My consultant was okay- polite and accommodating but never did anything "extra" to make me feel special on such an important day. I found a beautiful dress but the consultant kept pushing me to buy that dress as a "sample sale". The sample sale discount was not comparable to any other sample sale discounts I've seen AND the dress has stains. When pointing out the stains, she stated they could "try to wash them off"... I wanted to know the name of the dress designer and style so I could look into it and think it over. The consultant told me it was a "private label" that only made dresses for that shop and she would lose her job if she gave me the website. Sad thing is I believed her - until I went to a wonderful bridal salon and saw the EXACT gown there for 600$ less. Truly a shame because I probably would have bought the original dress here if the consultant was more personal.. and I would've blindly gotten scammed. read more

I asked to try on a couple of wedding dresses and they acted like I was bothering them, when the store was completely empty. Beware of belligerent owner and manager who are the bridal shop equivalents of "Bridezilla". We went through the same horrific experience that Kevin M described. "Over promise, under deliver" is Elegant Touch's mantra. Your money is what they want; once they have it, don't expect any more customer service. My to-be sister-in-law (who is the nicest and sweetest person anywhere) paid a fortune for alterations to her dream dress and has returned to Elegant Touch for the fourth time due to sloppy alterations, including uneven hemming and crooked lines. As a result, I accompanied her to her supposedly last fitting to see what is going on. At this fitting, I was appalled at how unprofessional the manager and sales associate were when we politely commented on how promised alterations did not meet specifications. Instead of courtesy and respect, we were treated with a gratuitous dose of attitude from the manager who made up an excuse for every anomaly and flaw in the alterations. When we left the store, neither the manager nor associate ever apologized to my sister-in-law for her negative experience at their store, nor did they acknowledge her or our party with so much as a simple "thank you" for our business. When I confronted the owner/manager later about the lack of customer service, the owner/manager became outright rude and confrontational, even threatening me and sinking to the level of calling me names in front of other customers. Be wise and spend your money at a store that actually respects, appreciates and values your business. "Elegant" Touch is misleading; "Greedy" Touch hits it on the head. PRETTY WOMAN MOMENT! While shopping at King of Prussia mall for a mother of the bride dress, I spotted a gorgeous dress in the window of a bridal salon. I walked in and asked about the size and if I could try it on. The salesperson looked at me and said "Oh, it's very expensive. It costs $1200" That's not what I asked!!! I was so turned off, that I walked out of the shop. A few days later, I walked into Elegant Touch Salon, in Perry Hall. The beautiful dresses in their windows lured me in. I was met by a very pleasant saleswoman who asked what I was looking for. Still picturing that dress from the window at the mall, I tried describing the style of my dream dress. After looking together through the dresses, I couldn't find THAT one. The saleswoman suggested that I look through a catalog, to see if I could find the dress. It took about 2 minutes to find the dress that I saw in that window, earlier that week. They looked at the dress and said, "Oh, that is absolutely beautiful and it would look fantastic on you!" I was the one who asked about the price. Never did they say, "Oh, that dress is very expensive!" They made me feel great, not like trash! As it turned out, Elegant Touch sold me that dress for $799!!! So, thank you ladies at King of Prussia for being so rude, you saved me $400.00!! I only wish I could remember the name of that shop! Elegant Touch took my measurements and ordered the dress for me. They also had me try on similar dresses by that designer in my size, so that I could get a better idea of the fit. The dress arrived two days later! It was a perfect fit! My suggestion is, if you want to be treated with respect and get what you want, try Elegant Touch! read more

Unfortunately I was not able to go with my son for his final fitting for the tux we rented for his senior prom. I trusted that the people here were qualified to make sure everything fitted properly since they came recommended by a friend. The first problem was the pants were two sizes bigger then his normal dress pant size and you could definitely tell. Also I think flat front pants are more appropriate for a 17 year old rather then pleated pants. The clasp on the side of the pants would not stay in place and I had to pin the sides of the pants so they would not fall down since suspenders were not provided to keep them up. The jacket was oversized and was not flattering whatsoever. The shoes were a full size to big to the point he could not even wear them, he had to wear dress shoes he already had. I am extremely disappointed that this was our experience for the one and only time I will probably ever see my son in a tux. read more

I've waited several days to write this review to avoid an angry rant. Please, please do not take your business here. I bought a dress here in June for $1699. I later found out that the dress retails for $1270. I didn't think to do a price check before purchasing because I assumed that the salon was honest with its pricing. They said the gown was a part of their "private collection" so I wasn't given the name of the gown. I found out by researching online. My dress arrived in November and I went in for a fitting. The alterations for the dress cost $473. I was told by three other salons that their maximum alteration costs were $250. I paid for half up front and was going to pay the second half when I picked up the dress. I called and Giselle said my alterations were complete and the dress was ready to be picked up (this is six months before my wedding). Giselle specifically said I didn't need an appointment. When I arrived to pick up the dress, they tried to just hand it to me and take the rest of my payment. I told them that I wanted to try the dress on to make sure the alterations were correct, and Giselle very rudely told me that they were busy and I needed an appointment for it. When I told her she said I didn't need one when I spoke with her, she said I'll "fit you in." She carried my gown to the back of the store to a set of closet-like fitting rooms where teenagers were trying on prom dresses. She put my dress on the rack and walked out. I'm sure most brides can tell you it's quite difficult getting yourself into a wedding dress! After struggling with that I noticed that the one major issue with the dress had not been fixed at all (also, there were still pins in the dress). One of the attendants nearby said to let them fix it and do a second fitting, but for $473 dollars I just wanted to take it and run. Who knows what they would have charged me to fix what they were supposed to have done in the first place. The man at the front desk was the rudest person I've EVER encountered in customer service. When I told him that I didn't think it was fair that I pay the difference because the dress wasn't done right, his response was, "You just don't want to pay. You're trying to get out of paying!" I made sure to speak politely to him and remain calm throughout the process. He immediately got aggressive and started yelling at me (which was surprising with a lot of people in the store). In the end he took off $69 for the incomplete alteration (out of $473). My veil, which we paid to have customized using my grandmother's veil, was not done correctly. He started yelling and back-talking at this as well, so I finally gave up. Giselle rolled up my veil and threw it in a plastic bag before putting it in with my dress. To sum up: 1. They charged me $1699 for a $1270 dress 2. They charged $473 for alterations and didn't do them correctly. Three other stores told me their max for alterations is $250. 3. The store owner literally yelled at me when I was nothing but calm when speaking to him about problems with the dress that his seamstress didn't fix. 4. My veil was balled up in a plastic bag It's very clear that once you purchase a dress here, they have no interest in interacting with you further. Please don't give them your money and save your own bridal experience!! read more

I felt that this shop had good service, but at the same time I kind of felt like my mother was there making me try on all these dresses that I wasn't really that interested in. (My mother was not there, it was the very sweet motherly sales lady.) I know it's good to try on dresses you may not think you'll be interested in, but I didn't feel like the sales lady had a sense of my style enough to select dresses I would like. Overall this did not seem like the most modern boutique, and the dresses I tried did not appeal to me as much as other shops I visited. But peoples' styles are different, and someone else may love the styles in this shop. That was just my experience. Between the sales lady pulling lots of dresses for me to try that I wasn't interested in, and the racks being organized in a not-so-user friendly way, it was not my favorite shopping experience. read more

Terrible! In over 20 years of being a part of weddings as a groomsman or even Best Man, I have never experienced anything like it! The owner and his staff/family are so rediculously rude that words can't even describe it. With all of the mistakes made from delivering of the wrong suits and ties two days before my wedding, to poor alterations on my wife's wedding gown; they would take no responsibility for any of it. It was to a point to where they wouldn't even apologize for the inconvenience or their mistakes. It was surreal! They lack so much customer service sense, professional ability, and business integrity that it is amazing they can do any business. It was so bad we had to go to Macy's and purchase our own ties for my groomsman to wear 2 days before the wedding. We rented suits, and they got us tuxedos, so we had no vest or cumberbun to cover our waist lines. Tuxedo pants don't have belt loops. It was the only hangup in over a year of planning for a wedding with over 250 guests attending, and we didn't even get a simple "We're sorry". Unbelievable! read more
